12:1 その時、大天使長ミカエルが立つ。彼はお前の民の子らを守護する。その時まで、苦難が続く／国が始まって以来、かつてなかったほどの苦難が。しかし、その時には救われるであろう／お前の民、あの書に記された人々は。 12:2 多くの者が地の塵の中の眠りから目覚める。ある者は永遠の生命に入り／ある者は永久に続く恥と憎悪の的となる。 12:3 目覚めた人々は大空の光のように輝き／多くの者の救いとなった人々は／とこしえに星と輝く。 12:4 ダニエルよ、終わりの時が来るまで、お前はこれらのことを秘め、この書を封じておきなさい。多くの者が動揺するであろう。そして、知識は増す。」 12:5 わたしダニエルは、なお眺め続けていると、見よ、更に二人の人が、川の両岸に一人ずつ立っているのが見えた。 12:6 その一人が、川の流れの上に立つ、あの麻の衣を着た人に向かって、「これらの驚くべきことはいつまで続くのでしょうか」と尋ねた。 12:7 すると、川の流れの上に立つ、あの麻の衣を着た人が、左右の手を天に差し伸べ、永遠に生きるお方によってこう誓うのが聞こえた。「一時期、二時期、そして半時期たって、聖なる民の力が全く打ち砕かれると、これらの事はすべて成就する。」 12:8 こう聞いてもわたしには理解できなかったので、尋ねた。「主よ、これらのことの終わりはどうなるのでしょうか。」 12:9 彼は答えた。「ダニエルよ、もう行きなさい。終わりの時までこれらの事は秘められ、封じられている。 12:10 多くの者は清められ、白くされ、練られる。逆らう者はなお逆らう。逆らう者はだれも悟らないが、目覚めた人々は悟る。 12:11 日ごとの供え物が廃止され、憎むべき荒廃をもたらすものが立てられてから、千二百九十日が定められている。 12:12 待ち望んで千三百三十五日に至る者は、まことに幸いである。 12:13 終わりまでお前の道を行き、憩いに入りなさい。時の終わりにあたり、お前に定められている運命に従って、お前は立ち上がるであろう。」
12:1 "At that time Michael shall stand up,The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people;And there shall be a time of trouble,Such as never was since there was a nation,Even to that time.And at that time your people shall be delivered,Every one who is found written in the book. 12:2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,Some to everlasting life,Some to shame and everlasting contempt. 12:3 Those who are wise shall shineLike the brightness of the firmament,And those who turn many to righteousnessLike the stars forever and ever. 12:4 "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." 12:5 Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that riverbank. 12:6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?" 12:7 Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished. 12:8 Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, "My lord, what shall be the end of these things?" 12:9 And he said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 12:10 "Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. 12:11 "And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12:12 "Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days. 12:13 "But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days."
2:17 この者たちは、干上がった泉、嵐に吹き払われる霧であって、彼らには深い暗闇が用意されているのです。 2:18 彼らは、無意味な大言壮語をします。また、迷いの生活からやっと抜け出て来た人たちを、肉の欲やみだらな楽しみで誘惑するのです。 2:19 その人たちに自由を与えると約束しながら、自分自身は滅亡の奴隷です。人は、自分を打ち負かした者に服従するものです。 2:20 わたしたちの主、救い主イエス・キリストを深く知って世の汚れから逃れても、それに再び巻き込まれて打ち負かされるなら、そのような者たちの後の状態は、前よりずっと悪くなります。 2:21 義の道を知っていながら、自分たちに伝えられた聖なる掟から離れ去るよりは、義の道を知らなかった方が、彼らのためによかったであろうに。
2:17 These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. 2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. 2:20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 2:21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.
