9:1 イスラエルよ、喜び祝うな。諸国の民のように、喜び躍るな。お前は自分の神を離れて姦淫し／どこの麦打ち場においても／姦淫の報酬を慕い求めた。 9:2 麦打ち場も酒ぶねも、彼らを養いはしない。新しい酒を期待しても裏切られる。 9:3 彼らは主の土地にとどまりえず／エフライムはエジプトに帰り／アッシリアで汚れたものを食べる。 9:4 主にぶどう酒をささげることもできず／いけにえをささげても、受け入れられない。彼らの食べ物は偶像にささげられたパンだ。それを食べる者は皆、汚れる。彼らのパンは自分の欲望のためだ。それを主の神殿にもたらしてはならない。 9:5 祝いの日、主の祭りの日に／お前たちはどうするつもりか。 9:6 見よ、彼らが滅びを逃れても／エジプトが彼らを集め、メンフィスが葬る。彼らの銀も宝物もいらくさに覆われ／天幕には茨がはびこる。
9:7 裁きの日が来た。決裁の日が来た。イスラエルよ、知れ。お前の不義は甚だしく、敵意が激しいので／預言者は愚か者とされ、霊の人は狂う。 9:8 預言者はわが神と共にあるが／エフライムは彼を待ち伏せて／その行く道のどこにも鳥を取る者の罠を仕掛け／その神の家を敵意で満たす。 9:9 ギブアの日々のように、彼らの堕落は根深く／主は彼らの不義に心を留め／その罪を裁かれる。
9:10 荒れ野でぶどうを見いだすように／わたしはイスラエルを見いだした。いちじくが初めてつけた実のように／お前たちの先祖をわたしは見た。ところが、彼らはバアル・ペオルに行った。それを愛するにつれて／ますます恥ずべきものに身をゆだね／忌むべき者となっていった。 9:11 エフライムの栄えは鳥のように飛び去る。もう出産も、妊娠も、受胎もない。 9:12 たとえ、彼らが子供を育てても／わたしがひとり残らず奪い取る。彼らからわたしが離れ去るなら／なんと災いなことであろうか。 9:13 緑に囲まれたティルスのように／わたしはエフライムを見なしてきた。しかし、エフライムは自分の子供たちを／餌食として差し出さねばならない。 9:14 主よ、彼らに与えてください／あなたが与えようとされるものを。彼らに与えてください／子を産めない胎と枯れた乳房を。 9:15 彼らの悪はすべてギルガルにある。まさにそこで、わたしは彼らを憎む。その悪行のゆえに、彼らをわたしの家から追い出し／わたしは、もはや彼らを愛さない。高官たちは皆わたしに逆らう者だ。 9:16 エフライムは撃たれた。彼らの根は枯れ、実を結ぶことはない。たとえ子を産んでも／その胎の実、愛する子をわたしは殺す。 9:17 わが神は彼らを退けられる。神に聞き従わなかったからだ。彼らは諸国にさまよう者となる。
9:1 Do not rejoice, O Israel, with joy like other peoples,For you have played the harlot against your God.You have made love for hire on every threshing floor. 9:2 The threshing floor and the winepressShall not feed them,And the new wine shall fail in her. 9:3 They shall not dwell in the Lord's land,But Ephraim shall return to Egypt,And shall eat unclean things in Assyria. 9:4 They shall not offer wine offerings to the Lord,Nor shall their sacrifices be pleasing to Him.It shall be like bread of mourners to them;All who eat it shall be defiled.For their bread shall be for their own life;It shall not come into the house of the Lord. 9:5 What will you do in the appointed day,And in the day of the feast of the Lord? 9:6 For indeed they are gone because of destruction.Egypt shall gather them up;Memphis shall bury them.Nettles shall possess their valuables of silver;Thorns shall be in their tents. 9:7 The days of punishment have come;The days of recompense have come.Israel knows!The prophet is a fool,The spiritual man is insane,Because of the greatness of your iniquity and great enmity. 9:8 The watchman of Ephraim is with my God;But the prophet is a fowler's snare in all his ways-Enmity in the house of his God. 9:9 They are deeply corrupted,As in the days of Gibeah.He will remember their iniquity;He will punish their sins. 9:10 "I found IsraelLike grapes in the wilderness;I saw your fathersAs the firstfruits on the fig tree in its first season.But they went to Baal Peor,And separated themselves to that shame;They became an abomination like the thing they loved. 9:11 As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird-No birth, no pregnancy, and no conception! 9:12 Though they bring up their children,Yet I will bereave them to the last man.Yes, woe to them when I depart from them! 9:13 Just as I saw Ephraim like Tyre, planted in a pleasant place,So Ephraim will bring out his children to the murderer." 9:14 Give them, O Lord-What will You give?Give them a miscarrying wombAnd dry breasts! 9:15 "All their wickedness is in Gilgal,For there I hated them.Because of the evil of their deedsI will drive them from My house;I will love them no more.All their princes are rebellious. 9:16 Ephraim is stricken,Their root is dried up;They shall bear no fruit.Yes, were they to bear children,I would kill the darlings of their womb." 9:17 My God will cast them away,Because they did not obey Him;And they shall be wanderers among the nations.
2:12 子たちよ、わたしがあなたがたに書いているのは、／イエスの名によって／あなたがたの罪が赦されているからである。 2:13 父たちよ、わたしがあなたがたに書いているのは、／あなたがたが、初めから存在なさる方を／知っているからである。若者たちよ、わたしがあなたがたに書いているのは、／あなたがたが悪い者に打ち勝ったからである。 2:14 子供たちよ、わたしがあなたがたに書いているのは、／あなたがたが御父を知っているからである。父たちよ、わたしがあなたがたに書いているのは、／あなたがたが、初めから存在なさる方を／知っているからである。若者たちよ、わたしがあなたがたに書いているのは、／あなたがたが強く、／神の言葉があなたがたの内にいつもあり、／あなたがたが悪い者に打ち勝ったからである。 2:15 世も世にあるものも、愛してはいけません。世を愛する人がいれば、御父への愛はその人の内にありません。 2:16 なぜなら、すべて世にあるもの、肉の欲、目の欲、生活のおごりは、御父から出ないで、世から出るからです。 2:17 世も世にある欲も、過ぎ去って行きます。しかし、神の御心を行う人は永遠に生き続けます。
2:12 I write to you, little children,Because your sins are forgiven you for His name's sake. 2:13 I write to you, fathers,Because you have known Him who is from the beginning.I write to you, young men,Because you have overcome the wicked one.I write to you, little children,Because you have known the Father. 2:14 I have written to you, fathers,Because you have known Him who is from the beginning.I have written to you, young men,Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you,And you have overcome the wicked one. 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 2:16 For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world. 2:17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
