13:1 エフライムが語れば恐れられ／イスラエルの中で重んじられていた。しかし、バアルによって罪を犯したので／彼は死ぬ。 13:2 今も、彼らはその罪に加えて／偶像を鋳て造る／銀を注ぎこみ、技巧を尽くした像を。それらはみな、職人たちの細工だ。彼らは互いに言う。「犠牲をささげる者たちよ、子牛に口づけせよ」と。 13:3 彼らは朝の霧／すぐに消えうせる露のようだ。麦打ち場から舞い上がるもみ殻のように／煙出しから消えて行く煙のようになる。 13:4 わたしこそあなたの神、主。エジプトの地からあなたを導き上った。わたしのほかに、神を認めてはならない。わたしのほかに、救いうる者はない。 13:5 荒れ野で、乾ききった地で／わたしはあなたを顧みた。 13:6 養われて、彼らは腹を満たし／満ち足りると、高慢になり／ついには、わたしを忘れた。 13:7 そこでわたしは獅子のように／豹のように道で彼らをねらう。 13:8 子を奪われた熊のように彼らを襲い／脇腹を引き裂き／その場で獅子のように彼らを食らう。野獣が彼らをかみ裂く。 13:9 イスラエルよ、お前の破滅が来る。わたしに背いたからだ。お前の助けであるわたしに背いたからだ。 13:10 どこにいるのか、お前の王は／どこの町でも、お前を救うはずの者／お前を治める者らは。「王や高官をわたしにください」と／お前は言ったではないか。 13:11 怒りをもって、わたしは王を与えた。憤りをもって、これを奪う。 13:12 エフライムの咎はとどめておかれ／その罪は蓄えておかれる。 13:13 産みの苦しみが襲う。彼は知恵のない子で／生まれるべき時なのに、胎から出て来ない。 13:14 陰府の支配からわたしは彼らを贖うだろうか。死から彼らを解き放つだろうか。死よ、お前の呪いはどこにあるのか。陰府よ、お前の滅びはどこにあるのか。憐れみはわたしの目から消え去る。 13:15 エフライムは兄弟の中で最も栄えた。しかし熱風が襲う。主の風が荒れ野から吹きつける。水の源は涸れ、泉は干上がり／すべての富、すべての宝は奪い去られる。
13:1 When Ephraim spoke, trembling,He exalted himself in Israel;But when he offended through Baal worship, he died. 13:2 Now they sin more and more,And have made for themselves molded images,Idols of their silver, according to their skill;All of it is the work of craftsmen.They say of them,"Let the men who sacrifice kiss the calves!" 13:3 Therefore they shall be like the morning cloudAnd like the early dew that passes away,Like chaff blown off from a threshing floorAnd like smoke from a chimney. 13:4 "Yet I am the Lord your GodEver since the land of Egypt,And you shall know no God but Me;For there is no Savior besides Me. 13:5 I knew you in the wilderness,In the land of great drought. 13:6 When they had pasture, they were filled;They were filled and their heart was exalted;Therefore they forgot Me. 13:7 "So I will be to them like a lion;Like a leopard by the road I will lurk; 13:8 I will meet them like a bear deprived of her cubs;I will tear open their rib cage,And there I will devour them like a lion.The wild beast shall tear them. 13:9 "O Israel, you are destroyed,But your help is from Me. 13:10 I will be your King;Where is any other,That he may save you in all your cities?And your judges to whom you said,'Give me a king and princes'? 13:11 I gave you a king in My anger,And took him away in My wrath. 13:12 "The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up;His sin is stored up. 13:13 The sorrows of a woman in childbirth shall come upon him.He is an unwise son,For he should not stay long where children are born. 13:14 "I will ransom them from the power of the grave;I will redeem them from death.O Death, I will be your plagues!O Grave, I will be your destruction!Pity is hidden from My eyes. 13:15 Though he is fruitful among his brethren,An east wind shall come;The wind of the Lord shall come up from the wilderness.Then his spring shall become dry,And his fountain shall be dried up.He shall plunder the treasury of every desirable prize. 13:16 Samaria is held guilty,For she has rebelled against her God.They shall fall by the sword,Their infants shall be dashed in pieces,And their women with child ripped open.
4:1 愛する者たち、どの霊も信じるのではなく、神から出た霊かどうかを確かめなさい。偽預言者が大勢世に出て来ているからです。 4:2 イエス・キリストが肉となって来られたということを公に言い表す霊は、すべて神から出たものです。このことによって、あなたがたは神の霊が分かります。 4:3 イエスのことを公に言い表さない霊はすべて、神から出ていません。これは、反キリストの霊です。かねてあなたがたは、その霊がやって来ると聞いていましたが、今や既に世に来ています。 4:4 子たちよ、あなたがたは神に属しており、偽預言者たちに打ち勝ちました。なぜなら、あなたがたの内におられる方は、世にいる者よりも強いからです。 4:5 偽預言者たちは世に属しており、そのため、世のことを話し、世は彼らに耳を傾けます。 4:6 わたしたちは神に属する者です。神を知る人は、わたしたちに耳を傾けますが、神に属していない者は、わたしたちに耳を傾けません。これによって、真理の霊と人を惑わす霊とを見分けることができます。
4:7 愛する者たち、互いに愛し合いましょう。愛は神から出るもので、愛する者は皆、神から生まれ、神を知っているからです。 4:8 愛することのない者は神を知りません。神は愛だからです。 4:9 神は、独り子を世にお遣わしになりました。その方によって、わたしたちが生きるようになるためです。ここに、神の愛がわたしたちの内に示されました。 4:10 わたしたちが神を愛したのではなく、神がわたしたちを愛して、わたしたちの罪を償ういけにえとして、御子をお遣わしになりました。ここに愛があります。 4:11 愛する者たち、神がこのようにわたしたちを愛されたのですから、わたしたちも互いに愛し合うべきです。 4:12 いまだかつて神を見た者はいません。わたしたちが互いに愛し合うならば、神はわたしたちの内にとどまってくださり、神の愛がわたしたちの内で全うされているのです。
[ 4 ] 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 4:2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 4:3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 4:9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 4:12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
