2:20 同じ月の二十四日／主の言葉が再びハガイに臨んだ。 2:21 「ユダの総督ゼルバベルに告げよ。わたしは天と地を揺り動かす。 2:22 わたしは国々の王座を倒し／異邦の国々の力を砕く。馬を駆る者もろとも戦車を覆す。馬も、馬を駆る者も／互いに味方の剣にかかって倒れる。 2:23 その日には、と万軍の主は言われる。わが僕、シェアルティエルの子ゼルバベルよ／わたしはあなたを迎え入れる、と主は言われる。わたしはあなたをわたしの印章とする。わたしがあなたを選んだからだ」と／万軍の主は言われる。
2:1 In the seventh month, on the twenty-first of the month, the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying: 2:2 "Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying: 2:3 'Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? In comparison with it, is this not in your eyes as nothing? 2:4 'Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,' says the Lord; 'and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,' says the Lord, 'and work; for I am with you,' says the Lord of hosts. 2:5 'According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!' 2:6 "For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; 2:7 'and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,' says the Lord of hosts. 2:8 'The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,' says the Lord of hosts. 2:9 'The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the Lord of hosts. 'And in this place I will give peace,' says the Lord of hosts." 2:10 On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying, 2:11 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Now, ask the priests concerning the law, saying, 2:12 "If one carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with the edge he touches bread or stew, wine or oil, or any food, will it become holy?" ' " Then the priests answered and said, "No." 2:13 And Haggai said, "If one who is unclean because of a dead body touches any of these, will it be unclean?" So the priests answered and said, "It shall be unclean." 2:14 Then Haggai answered and said, " 'So is this people, and so is this nation before Me,' says the Lord, 'and so is every work of their hands; and what they offer there is unclean. 2:15 'And now, carefully consider from this day forward: from before stone was laid upon stone in the temple of the Lord- 2:16 'since those days, when one came to a heap of twenty ephahs, there were but ten; when one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty baths from the press, there were but twenty. 2:17 'I struck you with blight and mildew and hail in all the labors of your hands; yet you did not turn to Me,' says the Lord. 2:18 'Consider now from this day forward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the day that the foundation of the Lord's temple was laid-consider it: 2:19 'Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But from this day I will bless you.' " 2:20 And again the word of the Lord came to Haggai on the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying, 2:21 "Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying:'I will shake heaven and earth. 2:22 I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms;I will destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms.I will overthrow the chariotsAnd those who ride in them;The horses and their riders shall come down,Every one by the sword of his brother. 2:23 'In that day,' says the Lord of hosts, 'I will take you, Zerubbabel My servant, the son of Shealtiel,' says the Lord, 'and will make you like a signet ring; for I have chosen you,' says the Lord of hosts."
13:11 わたしはまた、もう一匹の獣が地中から上って来るのを見た。この獣は、小羊の角に似た二本の角があって、竜のようにものを言っていた。 13:12 この獣は、先の獣が持っていたすべての権力をその獣の前で振るい、地とそこに住む人々に、致命的な傷が治ったあの先の獣を拝ませた。 13:13 そして、大きなしるしを行って、人々の前で天から地上へ火を降らせた。 13:14 更に、先の獣の前で行うことを許されたしるしによって、地上に住む人々を惑わせ、また、剣で傷を負ったがなお生きている先の獣の像を造るように、地上に住む人に命じた。 13:15 第二の獣は、獣の像に息を吹き込むことを許されて、獣の像がものを言うことさえできるようにし、獣の像を拝もうとしない者があれば、皆殺しにさせた。 13:16 また、小さな者にも大きな者にも、富める者にも貧しい者にも、自由な身分の者にも奴隷にも、すべての者にその右手か額に刻印を押させた。 13:17 そこで、この刻印のある者でなければ、物を買うことも、売ることもできないようになった。この刻印とはあの獣の名、あるいはその名の数字である。 13:18 ここに知恵が必要である。賢い人は、獣の数字にどのような意味があるかを考えるがよい。数字は人間を指している。そして、数字は六百六十六である。
13:11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 13:12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13:13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 13:14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 13:15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 13:16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 13:17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
