4:1 わたしに語りかけた御使いが戻って来て、わたしを起こした。わたしは眠りから揺り起こされた者のようであった。 4:2 彼はわたしに、「何を見ていたのか」と尋ねたので、わたしは答えた。「わたしが見ていたのは、すべてが金でできた燭台で、頭部には容器が置かれていました。その上に七つのともし火皿が付けられており、頭部に置かれているともし火皿には七つの管が付いていました。 4:3 その傍らに二本のオリーブの木があり、一つは容器の右に、一つは左に立っていました。」 4:4 わたしは言葉をついで、わたしに語りかけた御使いに言った。「主よ、これは何でしょうか。」 4:5 わたしに語りかけた御使いは答えて、「これが何か分からないのか」と言ったので、わたしが「主よ、分かりません」と言うと、 4:6 彼は答えて、わたしに言った。「これがゼルバベルに向けられた主の言葉である。武力によらず、権力によらず／ただわが霊によって、と万軍の主は言われる。 4:7 大いなる山よ、お前は何者か／ゼルバベルの前では平らにされる。彼が親石を取り出せば／見事、見事と叫びがあがる。」 4:8 また主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ。 4:9 「ゼルバベルの手がこの家の基を据えた。彼自身の手がそれを完成するであろう。こうして、あなたは万軍の主がわたしを／あなたたちに遣わされたことを知るようになる。 4:10 誰が初めのささやかな日をさげすむのか。ゼルバベルの手にある選び抜かれた石を見て／喜び祝うべきである。その七つのものは、地上をくまなく見回る主の御目である。」 4:11 わたしは言葉をついで御使いに尋ねた。「燭台の右と左にある、これら二本のオリーブの木は何ですか。」 4:12 わたしは重ねて彼に尋ねた。「その二本のオリーブの木の枝先は何ですか。それは二本の金の管によって、そこから油を注ぎ出しています。」 4:13 彼がわたしに、「これが何か分からないのか」と言ったので、わたしは「主よ、分かりません」と答えると、 4:14 彼は、「これは全地の主の御前に立つ、二人の油注がれた人たちである」と言った。
4:1 Now the angel who talked with me came back and wakened me, as a man who is wakened out of his sleep. 4:2 And he said to me, "What do you see?" So I said, "I am looking, and there is a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, and on the stand seven lamps with seven pipes to the seven lamps. 4:3 "Two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at its left." 4:4 So I answered and spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying, "What are these, my lord?" 4:5 Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my lord." 4:6 So he answered and said to me:"This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,'Says the Lord of hosts. 4:7 'Who are you, O great mountain?Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!And he shall bring forth the capstoneWith shouts of "Grace, grace to it!" ' " 4:8 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 4:9 "The hands of ZerubbabelHave laid the foundation of this temple;His hands shall also finish it.Then you will knowThat the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you. 4:10 For who has despised the day of small things?For these seven rejoice to seeThe plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.They are the eyes of the Lord,Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth." 4:11 Then I answered and said to him, "What are these two olive trees-at the right of the lampstand and at its left?" 4:12 And I further answered and said to him, "What are these two olive branches that drip into the receptacles of the two gold pipes from which the golden oil drains?" 4:13 Then he answered me and said, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my lord." 4:14 So he said, "These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth."
16:1 また、わたしは大きな声が神殿から出て、七人の天使にこう言うのを聞いた。「行って、七つの鉢に盛られた神の怒りを地上に注ぎなさい。」 16:2 そこで、第一の天使が出て行って、その鉢の中身を地上に注ぐと、獣の刻印を押されている人間たち、また、獣の像を礼拝する者たちに悪性のはれ物ができた。 16:3 第二の天使が、その鉢の中身を海に注ぐと、海は死人の血のようになって、その中の生き物はすべて死んでしまった。 16:4 第三の天使が、その鉢の中身を川と水の源に注ぐと、水は血になった。 16:5 そのとき、わたしは水をつかさどる天使がこう言うのを聞いた。「今おられ、かつておられた聖なる方、／あなたは正しい方です。このような裁きをしてくださったからです。 16:6 この者どもは、聖なる者たちと／預言者たちとの血を流しましたが、／あなたは彼らに血をお飲ませになりました。それは当然なことです。」 16:7 わたしはまた、祭壇がこう言うのを聞いた。「然り、全能者である神、主よ、／あなたの裁きは真実で正しい。」 16:8 第四の天使が、その鉢の中身を太陽に注ぐと、太陽は人間を火で焼くことを許された。 16:9 人間は、激しい熱で焼かれ、この災いを支配する権威を持つ神の名を冒涜した。そして、悔い改めて神の栄光をたたえることをしなかった。
16:1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth." 16:2 So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. 16:3 Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea died. 16:4 Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. 16:5 And I heard the angel of the waters saying:"You are righteous, O Lord,The One who is and who was and who is to be,Because You have judged these things. 16:6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets,And You have given them blood to drink.For it is their just due." 16:7 And I heard another from the altar saying, "Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments." 16:8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.
