6:1 わたしが再び目を留めて見ると、四両の戦車が二つの山の間から出て来た。その山は青銅の山であった。 6:2 最初の戦車には赤毛の馬数頭、二番目の戦車には黒い馬数頭、 6:3 三番目の戦車には白い馬数頭、四番目の戦車にはまだらの強い馬数頭がつけられていた。 6:4 わたしは言葉をついで、わたしに語りかけた御使いに、「主よ、これは何ですか」と尋ねると、 6:5 御使いはわたしに言った。「これは天の四方に向かう風で、全地の主の御前に立った後に出て行くものである。 6:6 その中の黒い馬は北の国に向かって出て行き、白い馬は西の方へ出て行き、まだらの馬は南の国に向かって出て行く。」 6:7 強い馬も出て来て、今にも飛び出して地上を行き巡ろうとしていたところ、彼が、「さあ地上を行き巡れ」と命じたので、彼らは地上を行き巡った。 6:8 彼はわたしに叫びながら言った。「よく見るがよい。北の国に向かって出て行ったものが、わが霊を北の国にとどまらせた。」
6:9 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ。 6:10 「帰還した捕囚の中から、ヘルダイ、トビヤ、エダヤの家族から、贈り物を受け取りなさい。あなたはその日のうちに、ツェファンヤの子ヨシヤの家に入りなさい。彼らはバビロンから帰ったばかりである。 6:11 銀と金を受け取り、冠をつくり、それをヨツァダクの子、大祭司ヨシュアの頭に載せて、 6:12 宣言しなさい。万軍の主はこう言われる。見よ、これが『若枝』という名の人である。その足もとから若枝が萌えいでる。彼は主の神殿を建て直す。 6:13 彼こそ主の神殿を建て直し／威光をまとい、王座に座して治める。その王座の傍らに祭司がいて／平和の計画が二人の間に生ずる。 6:14 冠はヘレム、トビヤ、エダヤ、およびツェファンヤの子の好意を記念するものとして、主の神殿に置かれる。 6:15 遠方からも人々が来て、主の神殿の建築に携わる。」こうして、あなたたちがひたすらあなたたちの神である主の声に聞き従うなら、万軍の主がわたしをあなたたちに遣わされたことを知るようになる。
6:1 Then I turned and raised my eyes and looked, and behold, four chariots were coming from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of bronze. 6:2 With the first chariot were red horses, with the second chariot black horses, 6:3 with the third chariot white horses, and with the fourth chariot dappled horses-strong steeds. 6:4 Then I answered and said to the angel who talked with me, "What are these, my lord?" 6:5 And the angel answered and said to me, "These are four spirits of heaven, who go out from their station before the Lord of all the earth. 6:6 "The one with the black horses is going to the north country, the white are going after them, and the dappled are going toward the south country." 6:7 Then the strong steeds went out, eager to go, that they might walk to and fro throughout the earth. And He said, "Go, walk to and fro throughout the earth." So they walked to and fro throughout the earth. 6:8 And He called to me, and spoke to me, saying, "See, those who go toward the north country have given rest to My Spirit in the north country." 6:9 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 6:10 "Receive the gift from the captives-from Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah, who have come from Babylon-and go the same day and enter the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah. 6:11 "Take the silver and gold, make an elaborate crown, and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest. 6:12 "Then speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying:"Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH!From His place He shall branch out,And He shall build the temple of the Lord; 6:13 Yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord.He shall bear the glory,And shall sit and rule on His throne;So He shall be a priest on His throne,And the counsel of peace shall be between them both." ' 6:14 "Now the elaborate crown shall be for a memorial in the temple of the Lord for Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Hen the son of Zephaniah. 6:15 "Even those from afar shall come and build the temple of the Lord. Then you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you. And this shall come to pass if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God."

17:1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 17:2 "with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication." 17:3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 17:4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. 17:5 And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 17:6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.
