7:1 悲しいかな／わたしは夏の果物を集める者のように／ぶどうの残りを摘む者のようになった。もはや、食べられるぶどうの実はなく／わたしの好む初なりのいちじくもない。 7:2 主の慈しみに生きる者はこの国から滅び／人々の中に正しい者はいなくなった。皆、ひそかに人の命をねらい／互いに網で捕らえようとする。 7:3 彼らの手は悪事にたけ／役人も裁判官も報酬を目当てとし／名士も私欲をもって語る。しかも、彼らはそれを包み隠す。 7:4 彼らの中の最善の者も茨のようであり／正しい者も茨の垣に劣る。お前の見張りの者が告げる日／お前の刑罰の日が来た。今や、彼らに大混乱が起こる。 7:5 隣人を信じてはならない。親しい者にも信頼するな。お前のふところに安らう女にも／お前の口の扉を守れ。 7:6 息子は父を侮り／娘は母に、嫁はしゅうとめに立ち向かう。人の敵はその家の者だ。 7:7 しかし、わたしは主を仰ぎ／わが救いの神を待つ。わが神は、わたしの願いを聞かれる。
7:8 わたしの敵よ、わたしのことで喜ぶな。たとえ倒れても、わたしは起き上がる。たとえ闇の中に座っていても／主こそわが光。 7:9 わたしは主に罪を犯したので／主の怒りを負わねばならない／ついに、主がわたしの訴えを取り上げ／わたしの求めを実現されるまで。主はわたしを光に導かれ／わたしは主の恵みの御業を見る。 7:10 「お前の神、主はどこにいるのか」と／わたしに言っていた敵は／このことを見て恥に覆われる。わたしの目はこの様を見る。今や、敵は路上の泥のように踏みつけられる。 7:11 あなたの城壁を再建する日／それは、国境の広げられる日だ。 7:12 その日、人々はあなたのもとに来る／アッシリアからエジプトの町々まで／エジプトからユーフラテスまで／海から海、山から山まで。 7:13 しかし、大地は荒れ果てる／そこに住む者の行いの実によって。 7:14 あなたの杖をもって／御自分の民を牧してください／あなたの嗣業である羊の群れを。彼らが豊かな牧場の森に／ただひとり守られて住み／遠い昔のように、バシャンとギレアドで／草をはむことができるように。 7:15 お前がエジプトの地を出たときのように／彼らに驚くべき業をわたしは示す。 7:16 諸国の民は、どんな力を持っていても／それを見て、恥じる。彼らは口に手を当てて黙し／耳は聞く力を失う。 7:17 彼らは蛇のように／地を這うもののように塵をなめ／身を震わせながら砦を出て／我らの神、主の御前におののき／あなたを畏れ敬うであろう。 7:18 あなたのような神がほかにあろうか／咎を除き、罪を赦される神が。神は御自分の嗣業の民の残りの者に／いつまでも怒りを保たれることはない／神は慈しみを喜ばれるゆえに。 7:19 主は再び我らを憐れみ／我らの咎を抑え／すべての罪を海の深みに投げ込まれる。 7:20 どうか、ヤコブにまことを／アブラハムに慈しみを示してください／その昔、我らの父祖にお誓いになったように。
7:1 Woe is me!For I am like those who gather summer fruits,Like those who glean vintage grapes;There is no cluster to eatOf the first-ripe fruit which my soul desires. 7:2 The faithful man has perished from the earth,And there is no one upright among men.They all lie in wait for blood;Every man hunts his brother with a net. 7:3 That they may successfully do evil with both hands-The prince asks for gifts,The judge seeks a bribe,And the great man utters his evil desire;So they scheme together. 7:4 The best of them is like a brier;The most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge;The day of your watchman and your punishment comes;Now shall be their perplexity. 7:5 Do not trust in a friend;Do not put your confidence in a companion;Guard the doors of your mouthFrom her who lies in your bosom. 7:6 For son dishonors father,Daughter rises against her mother,Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;A man's enemies are the men of his own household. 7:7 Therefore I will look to the Lord;I will wait for the God of my salvation;My God will hear me. 7:8 Do not rejoice over me, my enemy;When I fall, I will arise;When I sit in darkness,The Lord will be a light to me. 7:9 I will bear the indignation of the Lord,Because I have sinned against Him,Until He pleads my caseAnd executes justice for me.He will bring me forth to the light;I will see His righteousness. 7:10 Then she who is my enemy will see,And shame will cover her who said to me,"Where is the Lord your God?"My eyes will see her;Now she will be trampled downLike mud in the streets. 7:11 In the day when your walls are to be built,In that day the decree shall go far and wide. 7:12 In that day they shall come to youFrom Assyria and the fortified cities,From the fortress to the River,From sea to sea,And mountain to mountain. 7:13 Yet the land shall be desolateBecause of those who dwell in it,And for the fruit of their deeds. 7:14 Shepherd Your people with Your staff,The flock of Your heritage,Who dwell solitarily in a woodland,In the midst of Carmel;Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead,As in days of old. 7:15 "As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt,I will show them wonders." 7:16 The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might;They shall put their hand over their mouth;Their ears shall be deaf. 7:17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent;They shall crawl from their holes like snakes of the earth.They shall be afraid of the Lord our God,And shall fear because of You. 7:18 Who is a God like You,Pardoning iniquityAnd passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage?He does not retain His anger forever,Because He delights in mercy. 7:19 He will again have compassion on us,And will subdue our iniquities.You will cast all our sinsInto the depths of the sea. 7:20 You will give truth to JacobAnd mercy to Abraham,Which You have sworn to our fathersFrom days of old.
7:13 すると、長老の一人がわたしに問いかけた。「この白い衣を着た者たちは、だれか。また、どこから来たのか。」 7:14 そこで、わたしが、「わたしの主よ、それはあなたの方がご存じです」と答えると、長老はまた、わたしに言った。「彼らは大きな苦難を通って来た者で、その衣を小羊の血で洗って白くしたのである。 7:15 それゆえ、彼らは神の玉座の前にいて、／昼も夜もその神殿で神に仕える。玉座に座っておられる方が、／この者たちの上に幕屋を張る。 7:16 彼らは、もはや飢えることも渇くこともなく、／太陽も、どのような暑さも、／彼らを襲うことはない。 7:17 玉座の中央におられる小羊が彼らの牧者となり、／命の水の泉へ導き、／神が彼らの目から涙をことごとく／ぬぐわれるからである。」
8:1 小羊が第七の封印を開いたとき、天は半時間ほど沈黙に包まれた。 8:2 そして、わたしは七人の天使が神の御前に立っているのを見た。彼らには七つのラッパが与えられた。 8:3 また、別の天使が来て、手に金の香炉を持って祭壇のそばに立つと、この天使に多くの香が渡された。すべての聖なる者たちの祈りに添えて、玉座の前にある金の祭壇に献げるためである。 8:4 香の煙は、天使の手から、聖なる者たちの祈りと共に神の御前へ立ち上った。
8:5 それから、天使が香炉を取り、それに祭壇の火を満たして地上へ投げつけると、雷、さまざまな音、稲妻、地震が起こった。7:13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?" 7:14 And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 7:15 "Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 7:16 "They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 7:17 "for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
8:1 When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 8:2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. 8:3 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel's hand. 8:5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.
