3:1 見よ、わたしは使者を送る。彼はわが前に道を備える。あなたたちが待望している主は／突如、その聖所に来られる。あなたたちが喜びとしている契約の使者／見よ、彼が来る、と万軍の主は言われる。 3:2 だが、彼の来る日に誰が身を支えうるか。彼の現れるとき、誰が耐えうるか。彼は精錬する者の火、洗う者の灰汁のようだ。 3:3 彼は精錬する者、銀を清める者として座し／レビの子らを清め／金や銀のように彼らの汚れを除く。彼らが主に献げ物を／正しくささげる者となるためである。 3:4 そのとき、ユダとエルサレムの献げ物は／遠い昔の日々に／過ぎ去った年月にそうであったように／主にとって好ましいものとなる。 3:5 裁きのために、わたしはあなたたちに近づき／直ちに告発する。呪術を行う者、姦淫する者、偽って誓う者／雇い人の賃金を不正に奪う者／寡婦、孤児、寄留者を苦しめる者／わたしを畏れぬ者らを、と万軍の主は言われる。
3:6 まことに、主であるわたしは変わることがない。あなたたちヤコブの子らにも終わりはない。 3:7 あなたたちは先祖の時代から／わたしの掟を離れ、それを守らなかった。立ち帰れ、わたしに。そうすれば、わたしもあなたたちに立ち帰ると／万軍の主は言われる。しかし、あなたたちは言う／どのように立ち帰ればよいのか、と。 3:8 人は神を偽りうるか。あなたたちはわたしを偽っていながら／どのようにあなたを偽っていますか、と言う。それは、十分の一の献げ物と／献納物においてである。 3:9 あなたたちは、甚だしく呪われる。あなたたちは民全体で、わたしを偽っている。 3:10 十分の一の献げ物をすべて倉に運び／わたしの家に食物があるようにせよ。これによって、わたしを試してみよと／万軍の主は言われる。必ず、わたしはあなたたちのために／天の窓を開き／祝福を限りなく注ぐであろう。 3:11 また、わたしはあなたたちのために／食い荒らすいなごを滅ぼして／あなたたちの土地の作物が荒らされず／畑のぶどうが不作とならぬようにすると／万軍の主は言われる。 3:12 諸国の民は皆、あなたたちを幸せな者と呼ぶ。あなたたちが喜びの国となるからだと／万軍の主は言われる。
3:13 あなたたちは、わたしに／ひどい言葉を語っている、と主は言われる。ところが、あなたたちは言う／どんなことをあなたに言いましたか、と。 3:14 あなたたちは言っている。「神に仕えることはむなしい。たとえ、その戒めを守っても／万軍の主の御前を／喪に服している人のように歩いても／何の益があろうか。 3:15 むしろ、我々は高慢な者を幸いと呼ぼう。彼らは悪事を行っても栄え／神を試みても罰を免れているからだ。」 3:16 そのとき、主を畏れ敬う者たちが互いに語り合った。主は耳を傾けて聞かれた。神の御前には、主を畏れ、その御名を思う者のために記録の書が書き記された。 3:17 わたしが備えているその日に／彼らはわたしにとって宝となると／万軍の主は言われる。人が自分に仕える子を憐れむように／わたしは彼らを憐れむ。 3:18 そのとき、あなたたちはもう一度／正しい人と神に逆らう人／神に仕える者と仕えない者との／区別を見るであろう。
3:1 "Behold, I send My messenger,And he will prepare the way before Me.And the Lord, whom you seek,Will suddenly come to His temple,Even the Messenger of the covenant,In whom you delight.Behold, He is coming,"Says the Lord of hosts. 3:2 "But who can endure the day of His coming?And who can stand when He appears?For He is like a refiner's fireAnd like launderer's soap. 3:3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;He will purify the sons of Levi,And purge them as gold and silver,That they may offer to the LordAn offering in righteousness. 3:4 "Then the offering of Judah and JerusalemWill be pleasant to the Lord,As in the days of old,As in former years. 3:5 And I will come near you for judgment;I will be a swift witnessAgainst sorcerers,Against adulterers,Against perjurers,Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans,And against those who turn away an alien-Because they do not fear Me,"Says the Lord of hosts. 3:6 "For I am the Lord, I do not change;Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob. 3:7 Yet from the days of your fathersYou have gone away from My ordinancesAnd have not kept them.Return to Me, and I will return to you,"Says the Lord of hosts."But you said,'In what way shall we return?' 3:8 "Will a man rob God?Yet you have robbed Me!But you say,'In what way have we robbed You?'In tithes and offerings. 3:9 You are cursed with a curse,For you have robbed Me,Even this whole nation. 3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,That there may be food in My house,And try Me now in this,"Says the Lord of hosts,"If I will not open for you the windows of heavenAnd pour out for you such blessingThat there will not be room enough to receive it. 3:11 "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,"Says the Lord of hosts; 3:12 "And all nations will call you blessed,For you will be a delightful land,"Says the Lord of hosts. 3:13 "Your words have been harsh against Me,"Says the Lord,"Yet you say,'What have we spoken against You?' 3:14 You have said,'It is useless to serve God;What profit is it that we have kept His ordinance,And that we have walked as mournersBefore the Lord of hosts? 3:15 So now we call the proud blessed,For those who do wickedness are raised up;They even tempt God and go free.' " 3:16 Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another,And the Lord listened and heard them;So a book of remembrance was written before HimFor those who fear the LordAnd who meditate on His name. 3:17 "They shall be Mine," says the Lord of hosts,"On the day that I make them My jewels.And I will spare themAs a man spares his own son who serves him." 3:18 Then you shall again discernBetween the righteous and the wicked,Between one who serves GodAnd one who does not serve Him.
21:22 わたしは、都の中に神殿を見なかった。全能者である神、主と小羊とが都の神殿だからである。 21:23 この都には、それを照らす太陽も月も、必要でない。神の栄光が都を照らしており、小羊が都の明かりだからである。 21:24 諸国の民は、都の光の中を歩き、地上の王たちは、自分たちの栄光を携えて、都に来る。 21:25 都の門は、一日中決して閉ざされない。そこには夜がないからである。 21:26 人々は、諸国の民の栄光と誉れとを携えて都に来る。 21:27 しかし、汚れた者、忌まわしいことと偽りを行う者はだれ一人、決して都に入れない。小羊の命の書に名が書いてある者だけが入れる。
22:1 天使はまた、神と小羊の玉座から流れ出て、水晶のように輝く命の水の川をわたしに見せた。 22:2 川は、都の大通りの中央を流れ、その両岸には命の木があって、年に十二回実を結び、毎月実をみのらせる。そして、その木の葉は諸国の民の病を治す。 22:3 もはや、呪われるものは何一つない。神と小羊の玉座が都にあって、神の僕たちは神を礼拝し、 22:4 御顔を仰ぎ見る。彼らの額には、神の名が記されている。 22:5 もはや、夜はなく、ともし火の光も太陽の光も要らない。神である主が僕たちを照らし、彼らは世々限りなく統治するからである。
21:22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 21:23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 21:24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. 21:25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). 21:26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. 21:27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 22:2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 22:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. 22:4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. 22:5 There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
