11:17 次のことを指示するにあたって、わたしはあなたがたをほめるわけにはいきません。あなたがたの集まりが、良い結果よりは、むしろ悪い結果を招いているからです。 11:18 まず第一に、あなたがたが教会で集まる際、お互いの間に仲間割れがあると聞いています。わたしもある程度そういうことがあろうかと思います。 11:19 あなたがたの間で、だれが適格者かはっきりするためには、仲間争いも避けられないかもしれません。 11:20 それでは、一緒に集まっても、主の晩餐を食べることにならないのです。 11:21 なぜなら、食事のとき各自が勝手に自分の分を食べてしまい、空腹の者がいるかと思えば、酔っている者もいるという始末だからです。 11:22 あなたがたには、飲んだり食べたりする家がないのですか。それとも、神の教会を見くびり、貧しい人々に恥をかかせようというのですか。わたしはあなたがたに何と言ったらよいのだろう。ほめることにしようか。この点については、ほめるわけにはいきません。
11:23 わたしがあなたがたに伝えたことは、わたし自身、主から受けたものです。すなわち、主イエスは、引き渡される夜、パンを取り、 11:24 感謝の祈りをささげてそれを裂き、「これは、あなたがたのためのわたしの体である。わたしの記念としてこのように行いなさい」と言われました。 11:25 また、食事の後で、杯も同じようにして、「この杯は、わたしの血によって立てられる新しい契約である。飲む度に、わたしの記念としてこのように行いなさい」と言われました。 11:26 だから、あなたがたは、このパンを食べこの杯を飲むごとに、主が来られるときまで、主の死を告げ知らせるのです。
11:27 従って、ふさわしくないままで主のパンを食べたり、その杯を飲んだりする者は、主の体と血に対して罪を犯すことになります。 11:28 だれでも、自分をよく確かめたうえで、そのパンを食べ、その杯から飲むべきです。 11:29 主の体のことをわきまえずに飲み食いする者は、自分自身に対する裁きを飲み食いしているのです。 11:30 そのため、あなたがたの間に弱い者や病人がたくさんおり、多くの者が死んだのです。 11:31 わたしたちは、自分をわきまえていれば、裁かれはしません。 11:32 裁かれるとすれば、それは、わたしたちが世と共に罪に定められることがないようにするための、主の懲らしめなのです。 11:33 わたしの兄弟たち、こういうわけですから、食事のために集まるときには、互いに待ち合わせなさい。 11:34 空腹の人は、家で食事を済ませなさい。裁かれるために集まる、というようなことにならないために。その他のことについては、わたしがそちらに行ったときに決めましょう。
11:17 Now in giving these instructions I do not praise you, since you come together not for the better but for the worse. 11:18 For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it. 11:19 For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you. 11:20 Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord's Supper. 11:21 For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk. 11:22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you. 11:23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 11:24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." 11:25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes. 11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 11:29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 11:30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. 11:33 Therefore, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. 11:34 But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest you come together for judgment. And the rest I will set in order when I come.
