25:1 主よ、あなたはわたしの神／わたしはあなたをあがめ／御名に感謝をささげます。あなたは驚くべき計画を成就された／遠い昔からの揺るぎない真実をもって。 25:2 あなたは都を石塚とし／城壁のある町を瓦礫の山とし／異邦人の館を都から取り去られた。永久に都が建て直されることはないであろう。 25:3 それゆえ、強い民もあなたを敬い／暴虐な国々の都でも人々はあなたを恐れる。 25:4 まことに、あなたは弱い者の砦／苦難に遭う貧しい者の砦／豪雨を逃れる避け所／暑さを避ける陰となられる。暴虐な者の勢いは壁をたたく豪雨 25:5 乾ききった地の暑さのようだ。あなたは雲の陰が暑さを和らげるように／異邦人の騒ぎを鎮め／暴虐な者たちの歌声を低くされる。 25:6 万軍の主はこの山で祝宴を開き／すべての民に良い肉と古い酒を供される。それは脂肪に富む良い肉とえり抜きの酒。 25:7 主はこの山で／すべての民の顔を包んでいた布と／すべての国を覆っていた布を滅ぼし 25:8 死を永久に滅ぼしてくださる。主なる神は、すべての顔から涙をぬぐい／御自分の民の恥を／地上からぬぐい去ってくださる。これは主が語られたことである。 25:9 その日には、人は言う。見よ、この方こそわたしたちの神。わたしたちは待ち望んでいた。この方がわたしたちを救ってくださる。この方こそわたしたちが待ち望んでいた主。その救いを祝って喜び躍ろう。 25:10 主の御手はこの山の上にとどまる。
25:10 モアブは主の下に踏みにじられる／わらが踏みつけられて堆肥の山にされるように。 25:11 モアブはそこで手を広げる／泳ぐ人が泳ごうとして手を広げるように。しかし、巧みな手の業を重ねても／主はその誇りを打ち倒される。 25:12 主はお前の城壁の砦と塔を砕き／打ち倒して地の塵に伏させる。
25:1 O Lord, You are my God.I will exalt You,I will praise Your name,For You have done wonderful things;Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. 25:2 For You have made a city a ruin,A fortified city a ruin,A palace of foreigners to be a city no more;It will never be rebuilt. 25:3 Therefore the strong people will glorify You;The city of the terrible nations will fear You. 25:4 For You have been a strength to the poor,A strength to the needy in his distress,A refuge from the storm,A shade from the heat;For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. 25:5 You will reduce the noise of aliens,As heat in a dry place;As heat in the shadow of a cloud,The song of the terrible ones will be diminished. 25:6 And in this mountainThe Lord of hosts will make for all peopleA feast of choice pieces,A feast of wines on the lees,Of fat things full of marrow,Of well-refined wines on the lees. 25:7 And He will destroy on this mountainThe surface of the covering cast over all people,And the veil that is spread over all nations. 25:8 He will swallow up death forever,And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces;The rebuke of His peopleHe will take away from all the earth;For the Lord has spoken. 25:9 And it will be said in that day:"Behold, this is our God;We have waited for Him, and He will save us.This is the Lord;We have waited for Him;We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation." 25:10 For on this mountain the hand of the Lord will rest,And Moab shall be trampled down under Him,As straw is trampled down for the refuse heap. 25:11 And He will spread out His hands in their midstAs a swimmer reaches out to swim,And He will bring down their prideTogether with the trickery of their hands. 25:12 The fortress of the high fort of your wallsHe will bring down, lay low,And bring to the ground, down to the dust.
10:1 さて、あなたがたの間で面と向かっては弱腰だが、離れていると強硬な態度に出る、と思われている、このわたしパウロが、キリストの優しさと心の広さとをもって、あなたがたに願います。 10:2 わたしたちのことを肉に従って歩んでいると見なしている者たちに対しては、勇敢に立ち向かうつもりです。わたしがそちらに行くときには、そんな強硬な態度をとらずに済むようにと願っています。 10:3 わたしたちは肉において歩んでいますが、肉に従って戦うのではありません。 10:4 わたしたちの戦いの武器は肉のものではなく、神に由来する力であって要塞も破壊するに足ります。わたしたちは理屈を打ち破り、 10:5 神の知識に逆らうあらゆる高慢を打ち倒し、あらゆる思惑をとりこにしてキリストに従わせ、 10:6 また、あなたがたの従順が完全なものになるとき、すべての不従順を罰する用意ができています。
10:1 Now I, Paul, myself am pleading with you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ-who in presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you. 10:2 But I beg you that when I am present I may not be bold with that confidence by which I intend to be bold against some, who think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 10:5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 10:6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
