28:1 災いだ、エフライムの酔いどれの誇る冠は。その麗しい輝きは／肥沃な谷にある丘を飾っているが／しぼんでゆく花にすぎない。酒の酔いによろめく者よ 28:2 見よ、主は強く激しい力を持っておられる。主は、激しく降る雹、破壊をもたらす大風／激しく押し流す洪水のように／御手をもって地に投げ倒し 28:3 エフライムの酔いどれの誇る冠を／御足で踏みにじられる。 28:4 肥沃な谷にある丘を飾っているその麗しい輝きは／しぼんでゆく花だ。夏に先がける初なりのいちじくのように／それを見る者は、見るやいなや／手に取って呑み込んでしまう。 28:5 その日には、万軍の主が民の残りの者にとって／麗しい冠、輝く花輪となられる。 28:6 裁きの座に着く者には、裁きの霊となり／敵の攻撃を城門で押し返す者には／雄々しい力となられる。
28:7 彼らもまた、ぶどう酒を飲んでよろめき／濃い酒のゆえに迷う。祭司も預言者も濃い酒を飲んでよろめき／ぶどう酒に飲まれてしまう。濃い酒のゆえに迷い／幻を見るとき、よろめき／裁きを下すとき、つまずく。 28:8 どの食卓にも吐いた物が溢れ／至るところに汚物がある。 28:9 誰に知るべきことを教え／お告げを説き明かそうというのか。乳離れした子にか、乳房を離れた幼子にか。 28:10 「ツァウ・ラ・ツァウ、ツァウ・ラ・ツァウ／（命令に命令、命令に命令）／カウ・ラ・カウ、カウ・ラ・カウ／（規則に規則、規則に規則）／しばらくはここ、しばらくはあそこ」と／彼らは言う。 28:11 確かに、主はどもる唇と異国の言葉で／この民に語られる。 28:12 主が彼らに言っておかれたことはこうだ。「これこそが安息である。疲れた者に安息を与えよ。これこそ憩いの場だ」と。しかし、彼らは聞こうとはしなかった。 28:13 それゆえ、主の言葉は、彼らにとってこうなる。「ツァウ・ラ・ツァウ、ツァウ・ラ・ツァウ／（命令に命令、命令に命令）／カウ・ラ・カウ、カウ・ラ・カウ／（規則に規則、規則に規則）／しばらくはここ、しばらくはあそこ。」彼らは歩むとき、つまずいて倒れ／打ち砕かれ、罠にかかって、捕らえられる。
28:14 嘲る者らよ、主の言葉を聞け／エルサレムでこの民を治める者らよ。 28:15 お前たちは言った。「我々は死と契約を結び、陰府と協定している。洪水がみなぎり溢れても、我々には及ばない。我々は欺きを避け所とし、偽りを隠れがとする。」 28:16 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる。「わたしは一つの石をシオンに据える。これは試みを経た石／堅く据えられた礎の、貴い隅の石だ。信ずる者は慌てることはない。 28:17 わたしは正義を測り縄とし／恵みの業を分銅とする。雹は欺きという避け所を滅ぼし／水は隠れがを押し流す。 28:18 お前たちが死と結んだ契約は取り消され／陰府と定めた協定は実行されない。洪水がみなぎり、溢れるとき／お前たちは、それに踏みにじられる。」 28:19 洪水は溢れる度にお前たちを捕らえる。それは朝ごとに溢れ、昼も夜も溢れる。この御告げを説き明かせば／ただ恐怖でしかない。 28:20 寝床は短くて身を伸ばすことができず／覆いは狭くて身を覆うことができない。 28:21 主はペラツィム山のときのように立ち上がり／ギブオンの谷のときのように憤られる。それは御業を果たされるため。しかし、その御業は未知のもの。また、働きをされるため。しかし、その働きは敵意あるもの。 28:22 今、嘲ることをやめなければ／お前たちの縄目は厳しくなる。わたしは定められた滅びについて聞いた。それは万軍の主なる神から出て国全体に及ぶ。
28:23 聞け、わたしの声に耳を向けよ。聞け、わたしの言うことに耳を傾けよ。 28:24 種を蒔くために／耕す者は一日中耕すだけだろうか。土を起こして、畝を造るだけだろうか。 28:25 畑の面を平らにしたなら／いのんどとクミンの種は、広く蒔き散らし／小麦は畝に、大麦は印をしたところに／裸麦は畑の端にと、種を蒔くではないか。 28:26 神はふさわしい仕方を彼に示し、教えられる。 28:27 いのんどは打穀機で打たず／クミンの上に打穀車を引き回すことはしない。いのんどは棒で打ち／クミンは杖で打つ。 28:28 穀物はいつまでも打穀して砕くことはない。打穀車の車輪と馬がその上を回っても／砕き尽くすことはない。 28:29 これもまた万軍の主から出たことである。主の計らいは驚くべきもので／大いなることを成し遂げられる。
28:1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim,Whose glorious beauty is a fading flowerWhich is at the head of the verdant valleys,To those who are overcome with wine! 28:2 Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one,Like a tempest of hail and a destroying storm,Like a flood of mighty waters overflowing,Who will bring them down to the earth with His hand. 28:3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim,Will be trampled underfoot; 28:4 And the glorious beauty is a fading flowerWhich is at the head of the verdant valley,Like the first fruit before the summer,Which an observer sees;He eats it up while it is still in his hand. 28:5 In that day the Lord of hosts will beFor a crown of glory and a diadem of beautyTo the remnant of His people, 28:6 For a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment,And for strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate. 28:7 But they also have erred through wine,And through intoxicating drink are out of the way;The priest and the prophet have erred through intoxicating drink,They are swallowed up by wine,They are out of the way through intoxicating drink;They err in vision, they stumble in judgment. 28:8 For all tables are full of vomit and filth;No place is clean. 28:9 "Whom will he teach knowledge?And whom will he make to understand the message?Those just weaned from milk?Those just drawn from the breasts? 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept,Line upon line, line upon line,Here a little, there a little." 28:11 For with stammering lips and another tongueHe will speak to this people, 28:12 To whom He said, "This is the rest with whichYou may cause the weary to rest,"And, "This is the refreshing";Yet they would not hear. 28:13 But the word of the Lord was to them,"Precept upon precept, precept upon precept,Line upon line, line upon line,Here a little, there a little,"That they might go and fall backward, and be brokenAnd snared and caught. 28:14 Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scornful men,Who rule this people who are in Jerusalem, 28:15 Because you have said, "We have made a covenant with death,And with Sheol we are in agreement.When the overflowing scourge passes through,It will not come to us,For we have made lies our refuge,And under falsehood we have hidden ourselves." 28:16 Therefore thus says the Lord God:"Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation,A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation;Whoever believes will not act hastily. 28:17 Also I will make justice the measuring line,And righteousness the plummet;The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies,And the waters will overflow the hiding place. 28:18 Your covenant with death will be annulled,And your agreement with Sheol will not stand;When the overflowing scourge passes through,Then you will be trampled down by it. 28:19 As often as it goes out it will take you;For morning by morning it will pass over,And by day and by night;It will be a terror just to understand the report." 28:20 For the bed is too short to stretch out on,And the covering so narrow that one cannot wrap himself in it. 28:21 For the Lord will rise up as at Mount Perazim,He will be angry as in the Valley of Gibeon-That He may do His work, His awesome work,And bring to pass His act, His unusual act. 28:22 Now therefore, do not be mockers,Lest your bonds be made strong;For I have heard from the Lord God of hosts,A destruction determined even upon the whole earth. 28:23 Give ear and hear my voice,Listen and hear my speech. 28:24 Does the plowman keep plowing all day to sow?Does he keep turning his soil and breaking the clods? 28:25 When he has leveled its surface,Does he not sow the black cumminAnd scatter the cummin,Plant the wheat in rows,The barley in the appointed place,And the spelt in its place? 28:26 For He instructs him in right judgment,His God teaches him. 28:27 For the black cummin is not threshed with a threshing sledge,Nor is a cartwheel rolled over the cummin;But the black cummin is beaten out with a stick,And the cummin with a rod. 28:28 Bread flour must be ground;Therefore he does not thresh it forever,Break it with his cartwheel,Or crush it with his horsemen. 28:29 This also comes from the Lord of hosts,Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance.
11:16 もう一度言います。だれもわたしを愚か者と思わないでほしい。しかし、もしあなたがたがそう思うなら、わたしを愚か者と見なすがよい。そうすれば、わたしも少しは誇ることができる。 11:17 わたしがこれから話すことは、主の御心に従ってではなく、愚か者のように誇れると確信して話すのです。 11:18 多くの者が肉に従って誇っているので、わたしも誇ることにしよう。 11:19 賢いあなたがたのことだから、喜んで愚か者たちを我慢してくれるでしょう。 11:20 実際、あなたがたはだれかに奴隷にされても、食い物にされても、取り上げられても、横柄な態度に出られても、顔を殴りつけられても、我慢しています。 11:21 言うのも恥ずかしいことですが、わたしたちの態度は弱すぎたのです。だれかが何かのことであえて誇ろうとするなら、愚か者になったつもりで言いますが、わたしもあえて誇ろう。 11:22 彼らはヘブライ人なのか。わたしもそうです。イスラエル人なのか。わたしもそうです。アブラハムの子孫なのか。わたしもそうです。 11:23 キリストに仕える者なのか。気が変になったように言いますが、わたしは彼ら以上にそうなのです。苦労したことはずっと多く、投獄されたこともずっと多く、鞭打たれたことは比較できないほど多く、死ぬような目に遭ったことも度々でした。 11:24 ユダヤ人から四十に一つ足りない鞭を受けたことが五度。 11:25 鞭で打たれたことが三度、石を投げつけられたことが一度、難船したことが三度。一昼夜海上に漂ったこともありました。 11:26 しばしば旅をし、川の難、盗賊の難、同胞からの難、異邦人からの難、町での難、荒れ野での難、海上の難、偽の兄弟たちからの難に遭い、 11:27 苦労し、骨折って、しばしば眠らずに過ごし、飢え渇き、しばしば食べずにおり、寒さに凍え、裸でいたこともありました。 11:28 このほかにもまだあるが、その上に、日々わたしに迫るやっかい事、あらゆる教会についての心配事があります。 11:29 だれかが弱っているなら、わたしは弱らないでいられるでしょうか。だれかがつまずくなら、わたしが心を燃やさないでいられるでしょうか。 11:30 誇る必要があるなら、わたしの弱さにかかわる事柄を誇りましょう。 11:31 主イエスの父である神、永遠にほめたたえられるべき方は、わたしが偽りを言っていないことをご存じです。 11:32 ダマスコでアレタ王の代官が、わたしを捕らえようとして、ダマスコの人たちの町を見張っていたとき、 11:33 わたしは、窓から籠で城壁づたいにつり降ろされて、彼の手を逃れたのでした。
11:16 I say again, let no one think me a fool. If otherwise, at least receive me as a fool, that I also may boast a little. 11:17 What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as it were, foolishly, in this confidence of boasting. 11:18 Seeing that many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast. 11:19 For you put up with fools gladly, since you yourselves are wise! 11:20 For you put up with it if one brings you into bondage, if one devours you, if one takes from you, if one exalts himself, if one strikes you on the face. 11:21 To our shame, I say that we were too weak for that! But in whatever anyone is bold-I speak foolishly-I am bold also. 11:22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I. 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ?-I speak as a fool-I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. 11:24 From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. 11:25 Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; 11:26 in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; 11:27 in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness- 11:28 besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches. 11:29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to stumble, and I do not burn with indignation? 11:30 If I must boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity. 11:31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying. 11:32 In Damascus the governor, under Aretas the king, was guarding the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desiring to arrest me; 11:33 but I was let down in a basket through a window in the wall, and escaped from his hands.
