30:1 災いだ、背く子らは、と主は言われる。彼らは謀を立てるが／わたしによるのではない。盟約の杯を交わすが／わたしの霊によるのではない。こうして、罪に罪を重ねている。 30:2 彼らはわたしの託宣を求めず／エジプトへ下って行き／ファラオの砦に難を避け／エジプトの陰に身を寄せる。 30:3 しかし、ファラオの砦はお前たちの恥となり／エジプトの陰に身を寄せることは辱めとなる。 30:4 たとえ高官らがツォアンにおり／使者らがハネスに遣わされても 30:5 彼らはすべて益を与えぬ国のゆえに／うろたえるだけだ。その国は助けにならず、益を与えず／恥と嘲りの種になるだけだ。 30:6 ネゲブの獣についての託宣。彼らはその富をろばの背に／宝をらくだのこぶに載せて／ほえたける雌獅子や雄獅子／蝮や、飛び回る炎の蛇が住む／悩みと苦しみの道を経て／益を与えることのない国に赴く。 30:7 エジプトの助けは空しくはかない。それゆえ、わたしはこれを／「つながれたラハブ」と呼ぶ。
30:8 今、行って、このことを彼らの前で／板に書き、書に記せ。それを後の日のため、永遠の証しとせよ。 30:9 まことに、彼らは反逆の民であり／偽りの子ら、主の教えを聞こうとしない子らだ。 30:10 彼らは先見者に向かって、「見るな」と言い／預言者に向かって／「真実を我々に預言するな。滑らかな言葉を語り、惑わすことを預言せよ。 30:11 道から離れ、行くべき道をそれ／我々の前でイスラエルの聖なる方について／語ることをやめよ」と言う。 30:12 それゆえ／イスラエルの聖なる方はこう言われる。「お前たちは、この言葉を拒み／抑圧と不正に頼り、それを支えとしているゆえ 30:13 この罪は、お前たちにとって／高い城壁に破れが生じ、崩れ落ちるようなものだ。崩壊は突然、そして瞬く間に臨む。 30:14 その崩壊の様は陶器師の壺が砕けるようだ。容赦なく粉砕され／暖炉から火を取り／水槽から水をすくう破片も残らないようだ。」 30:15 まことに、イスラエルの聖なる方／わが主なる神は、こう言われた。「お前たちは、立ち帰って／静かにしているならば救われる。安らかに信頼していることにこそ力がある」と。しかし、お前たちはそれを望まなかった。 30:16 お前たちは言った。「そうしてはいられない、馬に乗って逃げよう」と。それゆえ、お前たちは逃げなければならない。また「速い馬に乗ろう」と言ったゆえに／あなたたちを追う者は速いであろう。 30:17 一人の威嚇によって、千人はもろともに逃れ／五人の威嚇によって、お前たちは逃れる。残る者があっても、山頂の旗竿のように／丘の上の旗のようになる。
30:18 それゆえ、主は恵みを与えようとして／あなたたちを待ち／それゆえ、主は憐れみを与えようとして／立ち上がられる。まことに、主は正義の神。なんと幸いなことか、すべて主を待ち望む人は。 30:19 まことに、シオンの民、エルサレムに住む者よ／もはや泣くことはない。主はあなたの呼ぶ声に答えて／必ず恵みを与えられる。主がそれを聞いて、直ちに答えてくださる。 30:20 わが主はあなたたちに／災いのパンと苦しみの水を与えられた。あなたを導かれる方は／もはや隠れておられることなく／あなたの目は常に／あなたを導かれる方を見る。 30:21 あなたの耳は、背後から語られる言葉を聞く。「これが行くべき道だ、ここを歩け／右に行け、左に行け」と。 30:22 そのとき、あなたは銀で覆った像と／金をはり付けた像を汚し／それを汚れたもののようにまき散らし／「消えうせよ」と言う。 30:23 主は、あなたが地に蒔く種に雨を与えられる。地の産み出す穀物は豊かに実る。その日には／あなたの家畜は広い牧場で草をはみ 30:24 地を耕す牛やろばは／ふるいや箕でえり分け／発酵させた飼葉を食べる。 30:25 大いなる殺戮の日、塔の倒れるとき／そびえ立つすべての山、高い丘の上に／水路が造られて、水を運ぶ。 30:26 主が民の傷を包み／重い打ち傷をいやされる日／月の光は太陽の光になり／太陽の光は七倍になり／七つの日の光となる。
30:27 見よ、主の御名は遠くから来る／怒りに燃え、立ち昇る濃い煙を伴って。その唇は憤りに満ち／舌は焼き尽くす火のようだ。 30:28 主の霊は、首にまで達する水が／涸れ谷にみなぎり溢れるように臨む。主は国々を欺きのふるいでふるい／迷わす手綱を諸国民の顎にかけられる。 30:29 あなたたちは祭りを祝う夜のように歌い／笛に合わせて進む者のように心楽しみ／主の山に来て／イスラエルの岩なる神にまみえる。 30:30 主は威厳ある声を聞かせ／荒れ狂う怒り、焼き尽くす火の炎／打ちつける雨と石のような雹と共に／御腕を振り下ろし、それを示される。 30:31 主がその鞭をもって打たれるとき／アッシリアは主の声のゆえにおののく。 30:32 主が彼に下そうと定められた／杭の一打ちごとに／太鼓と竪琴が鳴らされ／主は御腕を振るって彼らと戦われる。 30:33 焼き場は既に用意され／王のために深く広く造られ／燃やすための木が積まれ／多くの薪が置かれ／主の息が焼き尽くす硫黄の流れのように／そこに臨む。
30:1 "Woe to the rebellious children," says the Lord,"Who take counsel, but not of Me,And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit,That they may add sin to sin; 30:2 Who walk to go down to Egypt,And have not asked My advice,To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh,And to trust in the shadow of Egypt! 30:3 Therefore the strength of PharaohShall be your shame,And trust in the shadow of EgyptShall be your humiliation. 30:4 For his princes were at Zoan,And his ambassadors came to Hanes. 30:5 They were all ashamed of a people who could not benefit them,Or be help or benefit,But a shame and also a reproach." 30:6 The burden against the beasts of the South.Through a land of trouble and anguish,From which came the lioness and lion,The viper and fiery flying serpent,They will carry their riches on the backs of young donkeys,And their treasures on the humps of camels,To a people who shall not profit; 30:7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain and to no purpose.Therefore I have called herRahab-Hem-Shebeth. 30:8 Now go, write it before them on a tablet,And note it on a scroll,That it may be for time to come,Forever and ever: 30:9 That this is a rebellious people,Lying children,Children who will not hear the law of the Lord; 30:10 Who say to the seers, "Do not see,"And to the prophets, "Do not prophesy to us right things;Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits. 30:11 Get out of the way,Turn aside from the path,Cause the Holy One of IsraelTo cease from before us." 30:12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel:"Because you despise this word,And trust in oppression and perversity,And rely on them, 30:13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to youLike a breach ready to fall,A bulge in a high wall,Whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant. 30:14 And He shall break it like the breaking of the potter's vessel,Which is broken in pieces;He shall not spare.So there shall not be found among its fragmentsA shard to take fire from the hearth,Or to take water from the cistern." 30:15 For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel:"In returning and rest you shall be saved;In quietness and confidence shall be your strength."But you would not, 30:16 And you said, "No, for we will flee on horses"-Therefore you shall flee!And, "We will ride on swift horses"-Therefore those who pursue you shall be swift! 30:17 One thousand shall flee at the threat of one,At the threat of five you shall flee,Till you are left as a pole on top of a mountainAnd as a banner on a hill. 30:18 Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you;And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you.For the Lord is a God of justice;Blessed are all those who wait for Him. 30:19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem;You shall weep no more.He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry;When He hears it, He will answer you. 30:20 And though the Lord gives youThe bread of adversity and the water of affliction,Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore,But your eyes shall see your teachers. 30:21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,"This is the way, walk in it,"Whenever you turn to the right handOr whenever you turn to the left. 30:22 You will also defile the covering of your graven images of silver,And the ornament of your molded images of gold.You will throw them away as an unclean thing;You will say to them, "Get away!" 30:23 Then He will give the rain for your seedWith which you sow the ground,And bread of the increase of the earth;It will be fat and plentiful.In that day your cattle will feedIn large pastures. 30:24 Likewise the oxen and the young donkeys that work the groundWill eat cured fodder,Which has been winnowed with the shovel and fan. 30:25 There will be on every high mountainAnd on every high hillRivers and streams of waters,In the day of the great slaughter,When the towers fall. 30:26 Moreover the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun,And the light of the sun will be sevenfold,As the light of seven days,In the day that the Lord binds up the bruise of His peopleAnd heals the stroke of their wound. 30:27 Behold, the name of the Lord comes from afar,Burning with His anger,And His burden is heavy;His lips are full of indignation,And His tongue like a devouring fire. 30:28 His breath is like an overflowing stream,Which reaches up to the neck,To sift the nations with the sieve of futility;And there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people,Causing them to err. 30:29 You shall have a songAs in the night when a holy festival is kept,And gladness of heart as when one goes with a flute,To come into the mountain of the Lord,To the Mighty One of Israel. 30:30 The Lord will cause His glorious voice to be heard,And show the descent of His arm,With the indignation of His angerAnd the flame of a devouring fire,With scattering, tempest, and hailstones. 30:31 For through the voice of the LordAssyria will be beaten down,As He strikes with the rod. 30:32 And in every place where the staff of punishment passes,Which the Lord lays on him,It will be with tambourines and harps;And in battles of brandishing He will fight with it. 30:33 For Tophet was established of old,Yes, for the king it is prepared.He has made it deep and large;Its pyre is fire with much wood;The breath of the Lord, like a stream of brimstone,Kindles it.
12:11 わたしは愚か者になってしまいました。あなたがたが無理にそうさせたのです。わたしが、あなたがたから推薦してもらうべきだったのです。わたしは、たとえ取るに足りない者だとしても、あの大使徒たちに比べて少しも引けは取らなかったからです。 12:12 わたしは使徒であることを、しるしや、不思議な業や、奇跡によって、忍耐強くあなたがたの間で実証しています。 12:13 あなたがたが他の諸教会よりも劣っている点は何でしょう。わたしが負担をかけなかったことだけではないですか。この不当な点をどうか許してほしい。 12:14 わたしはそちらに三度目の訪問をしようと準備しているのですが、あなたがたに負担はかけません。わたしが求めているのは、あなたがたの持ち物ではなく、あなたがた自身だからです。子は親のために財産を蓄える必要はなく、親が子のために蓄えなければならないのです。 12:15 わたしはあなたがたの魂のために大いに喜んで自分の持ち物を使い、自分自身を使い果たしもしよう。あなたがたを愛すれば愛するほど、わたしの方はますます愛されなくなるのでしょうか。 12:16 わたしが負担をかけなかったとしても、悪賢くて、あなたがたからだまし取ったということになっています。 12:17 そちらに派遣した人々の中のだれによって、あなたがたをだましたでしょうか。 12:18 テトスにそちらに行くように願い、あの兄弟を同伴させましたが、そのテトスがあなたがたをだましたでしょうか。わたしたちは同じ霊に導かれ、同じ模範に倣って歩んだのではなかったのですか。
12:11 I have become a fool in boasting; you have compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you; for in nothing was I behind the most eminent apostles, though I am nothing. 12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds. 12:13 For what is it in which you were inferior to other churches, except that I myself was not burdensome to you? Forgive me this wrong! 12:14 Now for the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be burdensome to you; for I do not seek yours, but you. For the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. 12:15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for your souls; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved. 12:16 But be that as it may, I did not burden you. Nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you by cunning! 12:17 Did I take advantage of you by any of those whom I sent to you? 12:18 I urged Titus, and sent our brother with him. Did Titus take advantage of you? Did we not walk in the same spirit? Did we not walk in the same steps?
