1:1 アモツの子イザヤが、ユダとエルサレムについて見た幻。これはユダの王、ウジヤ、ヨタム、アハズ、ヒゼキヤの治世のことである。
1:2 天よ聞け、地よ耳を傾けよ、主が語られる。わたしは子らを育てて大きくした。しかし、彼らはわたしに背いた。 1:3 牛は飼い主を知り／ろばは主人の飼い葉桶を知っている。しかし、イスラエルは知らず／わたしの民は見分けない。 1:4 災いだ、罪を犯す国、咎の重い民／悪を行う者の子孫、堕落した子らは。彼らは主を捨て／イスラエルの聖なる方を侮り、背を向けた。 1:5 何故、お前たちは背きを重ね／なおも打たれようとするのか／頭は病み、心臓は衰えているのに。 1:6 頭から足の裏まで、満足なところはない。打ち傷、鞭のあと、生傷は／ぬぐわれず、包まれず／油で和らげてもらえない。 1:7 お前たちの地は荒廃し、町々は焼き払われ／田畑の実りは、お前たちの目の前で／異国の民が食い尽くし／異国の民に覆されて、荒廃している。 1:8 そして、娘シオンが残った／包囲された町として。ぶどう畑の仮小屋のように／きゅうり畑の見張り小屋のように。 1:9 もし、万軍の主がわたしたちのために／わずかでも生存者を残されなかったなら／わたしたちはソドムのようになり／ゴモラに似たものとなっていたであろう。 1:10 ソドムの支配者らよ、主の言葉を聞け。ゴモラの民よ／わたしたちの神の教えに耳を傾けよ。 1:11 お前たちのささげる多くのいけにえが／わたしにとって何になろうか、と主は言われる。雄羊や肥えた獣の脂肪の献げ物に／わたしは飽いた。雄牛、小羊、雄山羊の血をわたしは喜ばない。 1:12 こうしてわたしの顔を仰ぎ見に来るが／誰がお前たちにこれらのものを求めたか／わたしの庭を踏み荒らす者よ。 1:13 むなしい献げ物を再び持って来るな。香の煙はわたしの忌み嫌うもの。新月祭、安息日、祝祭など／災いを伴う集いにわたしは耐ええない。 1:14 お前たちの新月祭や、定められた日の祭りを／わたしは憎んでやまない。それはわたしにとって、重荷でしかない。それを担うのに疲れ果てた。 1:15 お前たちが手を広げて祈っても、わたしは目を覆う。どれほど祈りを繰り返しても、決して聞かない。お前たちの血にまみれた手を 1:16 洗って、清くせよ。悪い行いをわたしの目の前から取り除け。悪を行うことをやめ 1:17 善を行うことを学び／裁きをどこまでも実行して／搾取する者を懲らし、孤児の権利を守り／やもめの訴えを弁護せよ。 1:18 論じ合おうではないか、と主は言われる。たとえ、お前たちの罪が緋のようでも／雪のように白くなることができる。たとえ、紅のようであっても／羊の毛のようになることができる。 1:19 お前たちが進んで従うなら／大地の実りを食べることができる。 1:20 かたくなに背くなら、剣の餌食になる。主の口がこう宣言される。
1:21 どうして、遊女になってしまったのか／忠実であった町が。そこには公平が満ち、正義が宿っていたのに／今では人殺しばかりだ。 1:22 お前の銀は金滓となり／良いぶどう酒は水で薄められている。 1:23 支配者らは無慈悲で、盗人の仲間となり／皆、賄賂を喜び、贈り物を強要する。孤児の権利は守られず／やもめの訴えは取り上げられない。 1:24 それゆえ、主なる万軍の神／イスラエルの力ある方は言われる。災いだ／わたしは逆らう者を必ず罰し／敵対する者に報復する。 1:25 わたしは手を翻し／灰汁をもってお前の滓を溶かし／不純なものをことごとく取り去る。 1:26 また、裁きを行う者を初めのときのように／参議を最初のときのようにする。その後に、お前は正義の都／忠実な町と呼ばれるであろう。 1:27 シオンは裁きをとおして贖われ／悔い改める者は恵みの御業によって贖われる。 1:28 背く者と罪人は共に打ち砕かれ／主を捨てる者は断たれる。 1:29 慕っていた樫の木のゆえにお前たちは恥を受け／喜びとしていた園のゆえに嘲られる。 1:30 お前たちは葉のしおれた樫の木のように／水の涸れた園のようになる。 1:31 強い者も麻の屑となり、その行いは火花となり／共に燃え上がり、消す者はいない。
1:1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. 1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth!For the Lord has spoken:"I have nourished and brought up children,And they have rebelled against Me; 1:3 The ox knows its ownerAnd the donkey its master's crib;But Israel does not know,My people do not consider." 1:4 Alas, sinful nation,A people laden with iniquity,A brood of evildoers,Children who are corrupters!They have forsaken the Lord,They have provoked to angerThe Holy One of Israel,They have turned away backward. 1:5 Why should you be stricken again?You will revolt more and more.The whole head is sick,And the whole heart faints. 1:6 From the sole of the foot even to the head,There is no soundness in it,But wounds and bruises and putrefying sores;They have not been closed or bound up,Or soothed with ointment. 1:7 Your country is desolate,Your cities are burned with fire;Strangers devour your land in your presence;And it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. 1:8 So the daughter of Zion is left as a booth in a vineyard,As a hut in a garden of cucumbers,As a besieged city. 1:9 Unless the Lord of hostsHad left to us a very small remnant,We would have become like Sodom,We would have been made like Gomorrah. 1:10 Hear the word of the Lord,You rulers of Sodom;Give ear to the law of our God,You people of Gomorrah: 1:11 "To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?"Says the Lord."I have had enough of burnt offerings of ramsAnd the fat of fed cattle.I do not delight in the blood of bulls,Or of lambs or goats. 1:12 "When you come to appear before Me,Who has required this from your hand,To trample My courts? 1:13 Bring no more futile sacrifices;Incense is an abomination to Me.The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies-I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting. 1:14 Your New Moons and your appointed feastsMy soul hates;They are a trouble to Me,I am weary of bearing them. 1:15 When you spread out your hands,I will hide My eyes from you;Even though you make many prayers,I will not hear.Your hands are full of blood. 1:16 "Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.Cease to do evil, 1:17 Learn to do good;Seek justice,Rebuke the oppressor;Defend the fatherless,Plead for the widow. 1:18 "Come now, and let us reason together,"Says the Lord,"Though your sins are like scarlet,They shall be as white as snow;Though they are red like crimson,They shall be as wool. 1:19 If you are willing and obedient,You shall eat the good of the land; 1:20 But if you refuse and rebel,You shall be devoured by the sword";For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. 1:21 How the faithful city has become a harlot!It was full of justice;Righteousness lodged in it,But now murderers. 1:22 Your silver has become dross,Your wine mixed with water. 1:23 Your princes are rebellious,And companions of thieves;Everyone loves bribes,And follows after rewards.They do not defend the fatherless,Nor does the cause of the widow come before them. 1:24 Therefore the Lord says,The Lord of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel,"Ah, I will rid Myself of My adversaries,And take vengeance on My enemies. 1:25 I will turn My hand against you,And thoroughly purge away your dross,And take away all your alloy. 1:26 I will restore your judges as at the first,And your counselors as at the beginning.Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city." 1:27 Zion shall be redeemed with justice,And her penitents with righteousness. 1:28 The destruction of transgressors and of sinners shall be together,And those who forsake the Lord shall be consumed. 1:29 For they shall be ashamed of the terebinth treesWhich you have desired;And you shall be embarrassed because of the gardensWhich you have chosen. 1:30 For you shall be as a terebinth whose leaf fades,And as a garden that has no water. 1:31 The strong shall be as tinder,And the work of it as a spark;Both will burn together,And no one shall quench them.
15:35 しかし、死者はどんなふうに復活するのか、どんな体で来るのか、と聞く者がいるかもしれません。 15:36 愚かな人だ。あなたが蒔くものは、死ななければ命を得ないではありませんか。 15:37 あなたが蒔くものは、後でできる体ではなく、麦であれ他の穀物であれ、ただの種粒です。 15:38 神は、御心のままに、それに体を与え、一つ一つの種にそれぞれ体をお与えになります。 15:39 どの肉も同じ肉だというわけではなく、人間の肉、獣の肉、鳥の肉、魚の肉と、それぞれ違います。 15:40 また、天上の体と地上の体があります。しかし、天上の体の輝きと地上の体の輝きとは異なっています。 15:41 太陽の輝き、月の輝き、星の輝きがあって、それぞれ違いますし、星と星との間の輝きにも違いがあります。 15:42 死者の復活もこれと同じです。蒔かれるときは朽ちるものでも、朽ちないものに復活し、 15:43 蒔かれるときは卑しいものでも、輝かしいものに復活し、蒔かれるときには弱いものでも、力強いものに復活するのです。 15:44 つまり、自然の命の体が蒔かれて、霊の体が復活するのです。自然の命の体があるのですから、霊の体もあるわけです。 15:45 「最初の人アダムは命のある生き物となった」と書いてありますが、最後のアダムは命を与える霊となったのです。 15:46 最初に霊の体があったのではありません。自然の命の体があり、次いで霊の体があるのです。 15:47 最初の人は土ででき、地に属する者であり、第二の人は天に属する者です。 15:48 土からできた者たちはすべて、土からできたその人に等しく、天に属する者たちはすべて、天に属するその人に等しいのです。 15:49 わたしたちは、土からできたその人の似姿となっているように、天に属するその人の似姿にもなるのです。
15:35 But someone will say, "How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?" 15:36 Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. 15:37 And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain-perhaps wheat or some other grain. 15:38 But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body. 15:39 All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds. 15:40 There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory. 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. 15:43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. 15:44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 15:45 And so it is written, "The first man Adam became a living being." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 15:46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. 15:47 The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. 15:48 As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.
