3:1 見よ、主なる万軍の神は／支えとなり、頼みとなる者を／また、パンによる支え、水による支えをも／エルサレムとユダから取り去られる。 3:2 勇士と戦士、裁きを行う者と預言者／占い師と長老 3:3 五十人の長と尊敬される者／参議、魔術師、呪術師などを取り去られる。 3:4 わたしは若者を支配者にした。気ままな者が国を治めるようになる。 3:5 民は隣人どうしで虐げ合う。若者は長老に、卑しい者は尊い者に無礼を働く。 3:6 人は父の家で兄弟に取りすがって言う。「お前にはまだ上着がある。我らの指導者になり／この破滅の始末をしてくれ」と。 3:7 だがその日には、彼も声をあげる。「わたしにも手当てはできない。家にはパンもなければ上着もない。わたしを民の指導者にしてもだめだ」と。 3:8 エルサレムはよろめき、ユダは倒れた。彼らは舌と行いをもって主に敵対し／その栄光のまなざしに逆らった。 3:9 彼らの表情が既に証言している。ソドムのような彼らの罪を表して、隠さない。災いだ、彼らは悪の報いを受ける。 3:10 しかし言え、主に従う人は幸い、と。彼らは自分の行いの実を食べることができる。 3:11 主に逆らう悪人は災いだ。彼らはその手の業に応じて報いを受ける。 3:12 わたしの民は、幼子に追い使われ／女に支配されている。わたしの民よ／お前たちを導く者は、迷わせる者で／行くべき道を乱す。 3:13 主は争うために構え／民を裁くために立たれる。 3:14 主は裁きに臨まれる／民の長老、支配者らに対して。「お前たちはわたしのぶどう畑を食い尽くし／貧しい者から奪って家を満たした。 3:15 何故、お前たちはわたしの民を打ち砕き／貧しい者の顔を臼でひきつぶしたのか」と／主なる万軍の神は言われる。 3:16 主は言われる。シオンの娘らは高慢で、首を伸ばして歩く。流し目を使い、気取って小股で歩き／足首の飾りを鳴らしている。 3:17 主はシオンの娘らの頭をかさぶたで覆い／彼女らの額をあらわにされるであろう。 3:18 その日には、主は飾られた美しさを奪われる。足首の飾り、額の飾り、三日月形の飾り、 3:19 耳輪、腕輪、ベール、 3:20 頭飾り、すね飾り、飾り帯、匂袋、お守り、 3:21 指輪、鼻輪、 3:22 晴れ着、肩掛け、スカーフ、手提げ袋、 3:23 紗の衣、亜麻布の肌着、ターバン、ストールなどを。 3:24 芳香は悪臭となり、帯は縄に変わり／編んだ髪はそり落とされ／晴れ着は粗布に変わり／美しさは恥に変わる。 3:25 シオンの男らは剣に倒れ／勇士は戦いに倒れる。 3:26 シオンの城門は嘆き悲しみ／奪い尽くされて、彼女は地に座る。
4:1 その日には、七人の女が／一人の男をとらえて言う。「自分のパンを食べ、自分の着物を着ますから／どうか、あなたの名を名乗ることを許し／わたしたちの恥を取り去ってください」と。
4:2 その日には、イスラエルの生き残った者にとって主の若枝は麗しさとなり、栄光となる。この地の結んだ実は誇りとなり、輝きとなる。 4:3 そしてシオンの残りの者、エルサレムの残された者は、聖なる者と呼ばれる。彼らはすべて、エルサレムで命を得る者として書き記されている。 4:4 主は必ず、裁きの霊と焼き尽くす霊をもってシオンの娘たちの汚れを洗い、エルサレムの血をその中からすすぎ清めてくださる。 4:5 主は、昼のためには雲、夜のためには煙と燃えて輝く火を造って、シオンの山の全域とそこで行われる集会を覆われる。それはそのすべてを覆う栄光に満ちた天蓋となる。 4:6 昼の暑さを防ぐ陰、嵐と雨を避ける隠れ場として、仮庵が建てられる。
3:1 For behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts,Takes away from Jerusalem and from JudahThe stock and the store,The whole supply of bread and the whole supply of water; 3:2 The mighty man and the man of war,The judge and the prophet,And the diviner and the elder; 3:3 The captain of fifty and the honorable man,The counselor and the skillful artisan,And the expert enchanter. 3:4 "I will give children to be their princes,And babes shall rule over them. 3:5 The people will be oppressed,Every one by another and every one by his neighbor;The child will be insolent toward the elder,And the base toward the honorable." 3:6 When a man takes hold of his brotherIn the house of his father, saying,"You have clothing;You be our ruler,And let these ruins be under your power," 3:7 In that day he will protest, saying,"I cannot cure your ills,For in my house is neither food nor clothing;Do not make me a ruler of the people." 3:8 For Jerusalem stumbled,And Judah is fallen,Because their tongue and their doingsAre against the Lord,To provoke the eyes of His glory. 3:9 The look on their countenance witnesses against them,And they declare their sin as Sodom;They do not hide it.Woe to their soul!For they have brought evil upon themselves. 3:10 "Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them,For they shall eat the fruit of their doings. 3:11 Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him,For the reward of his hands shall be given him. 3:12 As for My people, children are their oppressors,And women rule over them.O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err,And destroy the way of your paths." 3:13 The Lord stands up to plead,And stands to judge the people. 3:14 The Lord will enter into judgmentWith the elders of His peopleAnd His princes:"For you have eaten up the vineyard;The plunder of the poor is in your houses. 3:15 What do you mean by crushing My peopleAnd grinding the faces of the poor?"Says the Lord God of hosts. 3:16 Moreover the Lord says:"Because the daughters of Zion are haughty,And walk with outstretched necksAnd wanton eyes,Walking and mincing as they go,Making a jingling with their feet, 3:17 Therefore the Lord will strike with a scabThe crown of the head of the daughters of Zion,And the Lord will uncover their secret parts." 3:18 In that day the Lord will take away the finery:The jingling anklets, the scarves, and the crescents; 3:19 The pendants, the bracelets, and the veils; 3:20 The headdresses, the leg ornaments, and the headbands;The perfume boxes, the charms, 3:21 and the rings;The nose jewels, 3:22 the festal apparel, and the mantles;The outer garments, the purses, 3:23 and the mirrors;The fine linen, the turbans, and the robes. 3:24 And so it shall be:Instead of a sweet smell there will be a stench;Instead of a sash, a rope;Instead of well-set hair, baldness;Instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth;And branding instead of beauty. 3:25 Your men shall fall by the sword,And your mighty in the war. 3:26 Her gates shall lament and mourn,And she being desolate shall sit on the ground.
4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying,"We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel;Only let us be called by your name,To take away our reproach." 4:2 In that day the Branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious;And the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and appealingFor those of Israel who have escaped. 4:3 And it shall come to pass that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy-everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem. 4:4 When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning, 4:5 then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering. 4:6 And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain.
16:1 聖なる者たちのための募金については、わたしがガラテヤの諸教会に指示したように、あなたがたも実行しなさい。 16:2 わたしがそちらに着いてから初めて募金が行われることのないように、週の初めの日にはいつも、各自収入に応じて、幾らかずつでも手もとに取って置きなさい。 16:3 そちらに着いたら、あなたがたから承認された人たちに手紙を持たせて、その贈り物を届けにエルサレムに行かせましょう。 16:4 わたしも行く方がよければ、その人たちはわたしと一緒に行くことになるでしょう。
16:5 わたしは、マケドニア経由でそちらへ行きます。マケドニア州を通りますから、 16:6 たぶんあなたがたのところに滞在し、場合によっては、冬を越すことになるかもしれません。そうなれば、次にどこに出かけるにしろ、あなたがたから送り出してもらえるでしょう。 16:7 わたしは、今、旅のついでにあなたがたに会うようなことはしたくない。主が許してくだされば、しばらくあなたがたのところに滞在したいと思っています。 16:8 しかし、五旬祭まではエフェソに滞在します。 16:9 わたしの働きのために大きな門が開かれているだけでなく、反対者もたくさんいるからです。 16:10 テモテがそちらに着いたら、あなたがたのところで心配なく過ごせるようお世話ください。わたしと同様、彼は主の仕事をしているのです。 16:11 だれも彼をないがしろにしてはならない。わたしのところに来るときには、安心して来られるように送り出してください。わたしは、彼が兄弟たちと一緒に来るのを、待っているのです。 16:12 兄弟アポロについては、兄弟たちと一緒にあなたがたのところに行くようにと、しきりに勧めたのですが、彼は今行く意志は全くありません。良い機会が来れば、行くことでしょう。
16:1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also: 16:2 On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come. 16:3 And when I come, whomever you approve by your letters I will send to bear your gift to Jerusalem. 16:4 But if it is fitting that I go also, they will go with me. 16:5 Now I will come to you when I pass through Macedonia (for I am passing through Macedonia). 16:6 And it may be that I will remain, or even spend the winter with you, that you may send me on my journey, wherever I go. 16:7 For I do not wish to see you now on the way; but I hope to stay a while with you, if the Lord permits. 16:8 But I will tarry in Ephesus until Pentecost. 16:9 For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. 16:10 Now if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear; for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do. 16:11 Therefore let no one despise him. But send him on his journey in peace, that he may come to me; for I am waiting for him with the brethren. 16:12 Now concerning our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brethren, but he was quite unwilling to come at this time; however, he will come when he has a convenient time.
