33:1 災いだ、略奪されもしないのに、略奪し／欺かれもしないのに、欺く者は。お前は略奪し尽くしたときに、略奪され／欺き終えたときに、欺かれる。 33:2 主よ、我らを憐れんでください。我々はあなたを待ち望みます。朝ごとに、我らの腕となり／苦難のとき、我らの救いとなってください。 33:3 どよめきの声によって、もろもろの民は逃げ／あなたが立ち上がられると、国々は散る。 33:4 いなごが奪い去るように、戦利品を奪い去り／ばったが跳ねるように／人々はそれに飛びつく。 33:5 主は、はるかに高い天に住まわれ／シオンに正義と恵みの業を満たされる。 33:6 主はあなたの時を堅く支えられる。知恵と知識は救いを豊かに与える。主を畏れることは宝である。
33:7 見よ、アリエルの人々は巷で叫び／平和の使者たちはいたく嘆く。 33:8 大路は嘆き、荒れ果て、道行く者は絶える。人は契約を破り、証人を退け／人を人と思うこともない。 33:9 大地は嘆き、衰え／レバノンは辱められて、枯れ／シャロンは荒れ地となり／バシャンとカルメルは裸になる。 33:10 今や、わたしは身を起こすと／主は言われる。今や、わたしは立ち上がり／今や、自らを高くする。 33:11 枯れ草をはらみ、わらを産め／火のような霊がお前たちをなめ尽くす。 33:12 もろもろの民は、焼かれて石灰となり／切られた茨が、火に燃やされる。 33:13 遠くにいる者よ／わたしの成し遂げたことを聞け。近くにいる者よ、わたしの力強い業を知れ。 33:14 シオンで罪人は恐れ／神を無視する者はおののきに捕らえられた。我々のうち、誰が／焼き尽くす火の中にとどまりえようか。我々のうち、誰が／とこしえに燃える炉の中にとどまりえようか。 33:15 正義に歩み、正しいことを語り／虐げによる利益を退け／手を振って、賄賂を拒み／耳をふさいで、流血の謀を聞かず／目を閉じて、悪を見ようとしない者 33:16 このような人は、高い所に住む。その高い塔は堅固な岩。彼の糧は備えられ、水は絶えることがない。
33:17 あなたの目は麗しく装った王を仰ぎ／遠く隔たった地を見る。 33:18 あなたの心はかつての恐怖を思って言う。あのとき、数を調べた者はどこにいるのか／量った者はどこにいるのか／やぐらを数えた者はどこにいるのか、と。 33:19 あの傲慢な民をあなたはもはや見ない。その民の唇は重くて聞き分けることができず／舌はどもるので理解しえなかった。 33:20 シオンを仰ぎ見よ、我らの祝祭の都を。あなたの目はエルサレムを見る。それは安らかな住まい／移されることのない天幕。その杭は永遠に抜かれることなく／一本の綱も断たれることはない。 33:21 まことに、そこにこそ／主の威光は我らのために現れる。そこには多くの川、幅広い流れがある。櫓をこぐ舟はそこを通らず／威容を誇る船もそこを過ぎることはない。 33:22 まことに、主は我らを正しく裁かれる方。主は我らに法を与えられる方。主は我らの王となって、我らを救われる。 33:23 お前の船の綱はゆるみ／帆柱の基を固くすることも／帆を張ることもできない。そのとき、多くの戦利品が分配され／足の弱い者も獲物を奪う。 33:24 都に住む者はだれも病を訴えることはない。都に住む民は罪を赦される。
33:1 Woe to you who plunder, though you have not been plundered;And you who deal treacherously, though they have not dealt treacherously with you!When you cease plundering,You will be plundered;When you make an end of dealing treacherously,They will deal treacherously with you. 33:2 O Lord, be gracious to us;We have waited for You.Be their arm every morning,Our salvation also in the time of trouble. 33:3 At the noise of the tumult the people shall flee;When You lift Yourself up, the nations shall be scattered; 33:4 And Your plunder shall be gatheredLike the gathering of the caterpillar;As the running to and fro of locusts,He shall run upon them. 33:5 The Lord is exalted, for He dwells on high;He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness. 33:6 Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times,And the strength of salvation;The fear of the Lord is His treasure. 33:7 Surely their valiant ones shall cry outside,The ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly. 33:8 The highways lie waste,The traveling man ceases.He has broken the covenant,He has despised the cities,He regards no man. 33:9 The earth mourns and languishes,Lebanon is shamed and shriveled;Sharon is like a wilderness,And Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits. 33:10 "Now I will rise," says the Lord;"Now I will be exalted,Now I will lift Myself up. 33:11 You shall conceive chaff,You shall bring forth stubble;Your breath, as fire, shall devour you. 33:12 And the people shall be like the burnings of lime;Like thorns cut up they shall be burned in the fire. 33:13 Hear, you who are afar off, what I have done;And you who are near, acknowledge My might." 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid;Fearfulness has seized the hypocrites:"Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire?Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?" 33:15 He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly,He who despises the gain of oppressions,Who gestures with his hands, refusing bribes,Who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed,And shuts his eyes from seeing evil: 33:16 He will dwell on high;His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks;Bread will be given him,His water will be sure. 33:17 Your eyes will see the King in His beauty;They will see the land that is very far off. 33:18 Your heart will meditate on terror:"Where is the scribe?Where is he who weighs?Where is he who counts the towers?" 33:19 You will not see a fierce people,A people of obscure speech, beyond perception,Of a stammering tongue that you cannot understand. 33:20 Look upon Zion, the city of our appointed feasts;Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet home,A tabernacle that will not be taken down;Not one of its stakes will ever be removed,Nor will any of its cords be broken. 33:21 But there the majestic Lord will be for usA place of broad rivers and streams,In which no galley with oars will sail,Nor majestic ships pass by 33:22 (For the Lord is our Judge,The Lord is our Lawgiver,The Lord is our King;He will save us); 33:23 Your tackle is loosed,They could not strengthen their mast,They could not spread the sail.Then the prey of great plunder is divided;The lame take the prey. 33:24 And the inhabitant will not say, "I am sick";The people who dwell in it will be forgiven their iniquity.

1:6 キリストの恵みへ招いてくださった方から、あなたがたがこんなにも早く離れて、ほかの福音に乗り換えようとしていることに、わたしはあきれ果てています。 1:7 ほかの福音といっても、もう一つ別の福音があるわけではなく、ある人々があなたがたを惑わし、キリストの福音を覆そうとしているにすぎないのです。 1:8 しかし、たとえわたしたち自身であれ、天使であれ、わたしたちがあなたがたに告げ知らせたものに反する福音を告げ知らせようとするならば、呪われるがよい。 1:9 わたしたちが前にも言っておいたように、今また、わたしは繰り返して言います。あなたがたが受けたものに反する福音を告げ知らせる者がいれば、呪われるがよい。 1:10 こんなことを言って、今わたしは人に取り入ろうとしているのでしょうか。それとも、神に取り入ろうとしているのでしょうか。あるいは、何とかして人の気に入ろうとあくせくしているのでしょうか。もし、今なお人の気に入ろうとしているなら、わたしはキリストの僕ではありません。
1:1 Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead), 1:2 and all the brethren who are with me, To the churches of Galatia: 1:3 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, 1:4 who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 1:5 to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. 1:6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 1:7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 1:8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 1:9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
