47:1 身を低くして塵の中に座れ／おとめである、娘バビロンよ。王座を離れ、地に座れ、娘カルデアよ。柔らかでぜいたくな娘と呼ばれることは／二度とない。 47:2 石臼を取って粉をひけ。ベールを脱ぎ、衣の裾をたくし上げ／すねをあらわにして川を渡れ。 47:3 お前は裸にされ、恥はあらわになる。わたしは報復し、ひとりも容赦しない。 47:4 わたしたちの贖い主、その御名は万軍の主／イスラエルの聖なる神。 47:5 沈黙して座り、闇の中に入れ、娘カルデアよ。諸国の女王と呼ばれることは二度とない。 47:6 わたしは自分の民に対して怒り／わたしの嗣業の民を汚し、お前の手に渡した。お前は彼らに憐れみをかけず／老人にも軛を負わせ、甚だしく重くした。 47:7 わたしは永遠に女王だ、とお前は言い／何事も心に留めず、終わりの事を思わなかった。 47:8 今、これを聞くがよい／快楽に浸り、安んじて座る女よ。わたしだけ／わたしのほかにはだれもいない、と言い／わたしはやもめになることなく／子を失うこともない、と心に言う者よ。 47:9 その二つのことが／一日のうちに、瞬く間にお前に起こり／子を失いやもめとなる苦しみが／すべてお前に臨む。どれほど呪文を唱え／どれほど強いまじないをしても無駄だ。 47:10 お前は平然と悪事をし／「見ている者はない」と言っていた。お前の知恵と知識がお前を誤らせ／お前は心に言っていた／わたしだけ／わたしのほかにはだれもいない、と。 47:11 だが、災いがお前を襲うと／それに対するまじないを知らず／災難がふりかかっても、払いのけられない。思いもかけない時、突然、破滅がお前を襲う。 47:12 まじないと呪文の数々をもって立ち向かえ。若い時から労して身につけたものが／あるいは役に立ち／それを追い払うことができるかもしれない。 47:13 助言が多すぎて、お前は弱ってしまった。天にしるしを見る者、星によって占う者／新月によってお前の運命を告げる者などを／立ち向かわせ、お前を救わせてみよ。 47:14 見よ、彼らはわらにすぎず、火が彼らを焼き尽くし／炎の力から自分の命を救い出しえない。この火は体を温める炭火でも／傍らに座るための火でもない。 47:15 呪文を若い時から労して身につけ／売り物としてきた者すら、この様だ。彼らはおのおの勝手に迷って行き／お前を救う者はひとりもいない。
47:1 "Come down and sit in the dust,O virgin daughter of Babylon;Sit on the ground without a throne,O daughter of the Chaldeans!For you shall no more be calledTender and delicate. 47:2 Take the millstones and grind meal.Remove your veil,Take off the skirt,Uncover the thigh,Pass through the rivers. 47:3 Your nakedness shall be uncovered,Yes, your shame will be seen;I will take vengeance,And I will not arbitrate with a man." 47:4 As for our Redeemer, the Lord of hosts is His name,The Holy One of Israel. 47:5 "Sit in silence, and go into darkness,O daughter of the Chaldeans;For you shall no longer be calledThe Lady of Kingdoms. 47:6 I was angry with My people;I have profaned My inheritance,And given them into your hand.You showed them no mercy;On the elderly you laid your yoke very heavily. 47:7 And you said, 'I shall be a lady forever,'So that you did not take these things to heart,Nor remember the latter end of them. 47:8 "Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures,Who dwell securely,Who say in your heart,'I am, and there is no one else besides me;I shall not sit as a widow,Nor shall I know the loss of children'; 47:9 But these two things shall come to youIn a moment, in one day:The loss of children, and widowhood.They shall come upon you in their fullnessBecause of the multitude of your sorceries,For the great abundance of your enchantments. 47:10 "For you have trusted in your wickedness;You have said, 'No one sees me';Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you;And you have said in your heart,'I am, and there is no one else besides me.' 47:11 Therefore evil shall come upon you;You shall not know from where it arises.And trouble shall fall upon you;You will not be able to put it off.And desolation shall come upon you suddenly,Which you shall not know. 47:12 "Stand now with your enchantmentsAnd the multitude of your sorceries,In which you have labored from your youth-Perhaps you will be able to profit,Perhaps you will prevail. 47:13 You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels;Let now the astrologers, the stargazers,And the monthly prognosticatorsStand up and save youFrom what shall come upon you. 47:14 Behold, they shall be as stubble,The fire shall burn them;They shall not deliver themselvesFrom the power of the flame;It shall not be a coal to be warmed by,Nor a fire to sit before! 47:15 Thus shall they be to youWith whom you have labored,Your merchants from your youth;They shall wander each one to his quarter.No one shall save you.
1:11 キリストにおいてわたしたちは、御心のままにすべてのことを行われる方の御計画によって前もって定められ、約束されたものの相続者とされました。 1:12 それは、以前からキリストに希望を置いていたわたしたちが、神の栄光をたたえるためです。 1:13 あなたがたもまた、キリストにおいて、真理の言葉、救いをもたらす福音を聞き、そして信じて、約束された聖霊で証印を押されたのです。 1:14 この聖霊は、わたしたちが御国を受け継ぐための保証であり、こうして、わたしたちは贖われて神のものとなり、神の栄光をたたえることになるのです。
1:15 こういうわけで、わたしも、あなたがたが主イエスを信じ、すべての聖なる者たちを愛していることを聞き、 1:16 祈りの度に、あなたがたのことを思い起こし、絶えず感謝しています。 1:17 どうか、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストの神、栄光の源である御父が、あなたがたに知恵と啓示との霊を与え、神を深く知ることができるようにし、 1:18 心の目を開いてくださるように。そして、神の招きによってどのような希望が与えられているか、聖なる者たちの受け継ぐものがどれほど豊かな栄光に輝いているか悟らせてくださるように。 1:19 また、わたしたち信仰者に対して絶大な働きをなさる神の力が、どれほど大きなものであるか、悟らせてくださるように。 1:20 神は、この力をキリストに働かせて、キリストを死者の中から復活させ、天において御自分の右の座に着かせ、 1:21 すべての支配、権威、勢力、主権の上に置き、今の世ばかりでなく、来るべき世にも唱えられるあらゆる名の上に置かれました。 1:22 神はまた、すべてのものをキリストの足もとに従わせ、キリストをすべてのものの上にある頭として教会にお与えになりました。 1:23 教会はキリストの体であり、すべてにおいてすべてを満たしている方の満ちておられる場です。
1:11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 1:12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. 1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 1:14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. 1:15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 1:16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 1:18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 1:19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 1:20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 1:21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 1:22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 1:23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
