63:1 「エドムから来るのは誰か。ボツラから赤い衣をまとって来るのは。その装いは威光に輝き／勢い余って身を倒しているのは。」「わたしは勝利を告げ／大いなる救いをもたらすもの。」 63:2 「なぜ、あなたの装いは赤く染まり／衣は酒ぶねを踏む者のようなのか。」 63:3 「わたしはただひとりで酒ぶねを踏んだ。諸国の民はだれひとりわたしに伴わなかった。わたしは怒りをもって彼らを踏みつけ／憤りをもって彼らを踏み砕いた。それゆえ、わたしの衣は血を浴び／わたしは着物を汚した。」 63:4 わたしが心に定めた報復の日／わたしの贖いの年が来たので 63:5 わたしは見回したが、助ける者はなく／驚くほど、支える者はいなかった。わたしの救いはわたしの腕により／わたしを支えたのはわたしの憤りだ。 63:6 わたしは怒りをもって諸国の民を踏みにじり／わたしの憤りをもって彼らを酔わせ／彼らの血を大地に流れさせた。

63:1 Who is this who comes from Edom,With dyed garments from Bozrah,This One who is glorious in His apparel,Traveling in the greatness of His strength?-"I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save." 63:2 Why is Your apparel red,And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress? 63:3 "I have trodden the winepress alone,And from the peoples no one was with Me.For I have trodden them in My anger,And trampled them in My fury;Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments,And I have stained all My robes. 63:4 For the day of vengeance is in My heart,And the year of My redeemed has come. 63:5 I looked, but there was no one to help,And I wonderedThat there was no one to uphold;Therefore My own arm brought salvation for Me;And My own fury, it sustained Me. 63:6 I have trodden down the peoples in My anger,Made them drunk in My fury,And brought down their strength to the earth." 63:7 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LordAnd the praises of the Lord,According to all that the Lord has bestowed on us,And the great goodness toward the house of Israel,Which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies,According to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses. 63:8 For He said, "Surely they are My people,Children who will not lie."So He became their Savior. 63:9 In all their affliction He was afflicted,And the Angel of His Presence saved them;In His love and in His pity He redeemed them;And He bore them and carried themAll the days of old. 63:10 But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit;So He turned Himself against them as an enemy,And He fought against them. 63:11 Then he remembered the days of old,Moses and his people, saying:"Where is He who brought them up out of the seaWith the shepherd of His flock?Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within them, 63:12 Who led them by the right hand of Moses,With His glorious arm,Dividing the water before themTo make for Himself an everlasting name, 63:13 Who led them through the deep,As a horse in the wilderness,That they might not stumble?" 63:14 As a beast goes down into the valley,And the Spirit of the Lord causes him to rest,So You lead Your people,To make Yourself a glorious name. 63:15 Look down from heaven,And see from Your habitation, holy and glorious.Where are Your zeal and Your strength,The yearning of Your heart and Your mercies toward me?Are they restrained? 63:16 Doubtless You are our Father,Though Abraham was ignorant of us,And Israel does not acknowledge us.You, O Lord, are our Father;Our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name. 63:17 O Lord, why have You made us stray from Your ways,And hardened our heart from Your fear?Return for Your servants' sake,The tribes of Your inheritance. 63:18 Your holy people have possessed it but a little while;Our adversaries have trodden down Your sanctuary. 63:19 We have become like those of old, over whom You never ruled,Those who were never called by Your name.

2:19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged when I know your state. 2:20 For I have no one like-minded, who will sincerely care for your state. 2:21 For all seek their own, not the things which are of Christ Jesus. 2:22 But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel. 2:23 Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it goes with me. 2:24 But I trust in the Lord that I myself shall also come shortly. 2:25 Yet I considered it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier, but your messenger and the one who ministered to my need; 2:26 since he was longing for you all, and was distressed because you had heard that he was sick. 2:27 For indeed he was sick almost unto death; but God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. 2:28 Therefore I sent him the more eagerly, that when you see him again you may rejoice, and I may be less sorrowful. 2:29 Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness, and hold such men in esteem; 2:30 because for the work of Christ he came close to death, not regarding his life, to supply what was lacking in your service toward me.
