23:1 「災いだ、わたしの牧場の羊の群れを滅ぼし散らす牧者たちは」と主は言われる。 23:2 それゆえ、イスラエルの神、主はわたしの民を牧する牧者たちについて、こう言われる。「あなたたちは、わたしの羊の群れを散らし、追い払うばかりで、顧みることをしなかった。わたしはあなたたちの悪い行いを罰する」と主は言われる。 23:3 「このわたしが、群れの残った羊を、追いやったあらゆる国々から集め、もとの牧場に帰らせる。群れは子を産み、数を増やす。 23:4 彼らを牧する牧者をわたしは立てる。群れはもはや恐れることも、おびえることもなく、また迷い出ることもない」と主は言われる。 23:5 見よ、このような日が来る、と主は言われる。わたしはダビデのために正しい若枝を起こす。王は治め、栄え／この国に正義と恵みの業を行う。 23:6 彼の代にユダは救われ／イスラエルは安らかに住む。彼の名は、「主は我らの救い」と呼ばれる。 23:7 それゆえ、見よ、このような日が来る、と主は言われる。人々はもはや、「イスラエルの人々をエジプトの国から導き上った主は生きておられる」と言って誓わず、 23:8 「イスラエルの家の子孫を、北の国や、彼が追いやられた国々から導き上り、帰らせて自分の国に住まわせた主は生きておられる」と言って誓うようになる。
23:9 預言者たちについて。わたしの心臓はわたしのうちに破れ／骨はすべて力を失った。わたしは酔いどれのように／酒にのまれた男のようになった。それは、主のゆえ／その聖なる言葉のゆえである。 23:10 姦淫する者がこの国に満ちている。国土は呪われて喪に服し／荒れ野の牧場も干上がる。彼らは悪の道を走り／不正にその力を使う。 23:11 預言者も祭司も汚れ／神殿の中でさえわたしは彼らの悪を見たと／主は言われる。 23:12 それゆえ、彼らの道は／すべる岩のようになり／彼らは暗闇の中を追われて倒れる。わたしが彼らに災いを／彼らを罰する年を臨ませるからだと／主は言われる。 23:13 わたしは、サマリアの預言者たちに／あるまじき行いを見た。彼らはバアルによって預言し／わが民イスラエルを迷わせた。 23:14 わたしは、エルサレムの預言者たちの間に／おぞましいことを見た。姦淫を行い、偽りに歩むことである。彼らは悪を行う者の手を強め／だれひとり悪から離れられない。彼らは皆、わたしにとってソドムのよう／彼らと共にいる者はゴモラのようだ。 23:15 それゆえ、万軍の主は預言者たちについて／こう言われる。見よ、わたしは彼らに苦よもぎを食べさせ／毒の水を飲ませる。エルサレムの預言者たちから／汚れが国中に広がったからだ。 23:16 万軍の主はこう言われる。お前たちに預言する預言者たちの／言葉を聞いてはならない。彼らはお前たちに空しい望みを抱かせ／主の口の言葉ではなく、自分の心の幻を語る。 23:17 わたしを侮る者たちに向かって／彼らは常に言う。「平和があなたたちに臨むと／主が語られた」と。また、かたくなな心のままに歩む者に向かって／「災いがあなたたちに来ることはない」と言う。 23:18 誰が主の会議に立ち／また、その言葉を見聞きしたか。誰が耳を傾けて、その言葉を聞いたか。 23:19 見よ、主の嵐が激しく吹き／つむじ風が巻き起こって／神に逆らう者らの頭上に渦を巻く。 23:20 主の怒りは／思い定められた事を成し遂げるまではやまない。終わりの日に、お前たちは／このことをはっきりと悟る。 23:21 わたしが遣わさないのに／預言者たちは走る。わたしは彼らに語っていないのに／彼らは預言する。 23:22 もし、彼らがわたしの会議に立ったのなら／わが民にわたしの言葉を聞かせ／彼らの悪い道、悪の行いから／帰らせることができたであろう。 23:23 わたしはただ近くにいる神なのか、と主は言われる。わたしは遠くからの神ではないのか。 23:24 誰かが隠れ場に身を隠したなら／わたしは彼を見つけられないと言うのかと／主は言われる。天をも地をも、わたしは満たしているではないかと／主は言われる。 23:25 わたしは、わが名によって偽りを預言する預言者たちが、「わたしは夢を見た、夢を見た」と言うのを聞いた。 23:26 いつまで、彼らはこうなのか。偽りを預言し、自分の心が欺くままに預言する預言者たちは、 23:27 互いに夢を解き明かして、わが民がわたしの名を忘れるように仕向ける。彼らの父祖たちがバアルのゆえにわたしの名を忘れたように。 23:28 夢を見た預言者は夢を解き明かすがよい。しかし、わたしの言葉を受けた者は、忠実にわたしの言葉を語るがよい。もみ殻と穀物が比べものになろうかと／主は言われる。 23:29 このように、わたしの言葉は火に似ていないか。岩を打ち砕く槌のようではないか、と主は言われる。 23:30 それゆえ、見よ、わたしは仲間どうしでわたしの言葉を盗み合う預言者たちに立ち向かう、と主は言われる。 23:31 見よ、わたしは自分の舌先だけで、その言葉を「託宣」と称する預言者たちに立ち向かう、と主は言われる。 23:32 見よ、わたしは偽りの夢を預言する者たちに立ち向かう、と主は言われる。彼らは、それを解き明かして、偽りと気まぐれをもってわが民を迷わせた。わたしは、彼らを遣わしたことも、彼らに命じたこともない。彼らはこの民に何の益ももたらさない、と主は言われる。 23:33 もし、この民が――預言者であれ祭司であれ――あなたに、「主の託宣（マッサ）とは何か」と問うならば、彼らに、「お前たちこそ重荷（マッサ）だ。わたしはお前たちを投げ捨てる、と主は言われる」と答えるがよい。 23:34 預言者にせよ、祭司にせよ、民にせよ、「主の託宣だ」と言う者があれば、わたしはその人とその家を罰する。 23:35 お前たちは、ただ隣人や兄弟の間で互いに、「主は何とお答えになりましたか。主は何とお語りになりましたか」とだけ言うがよい。 23:36 「主の託宣だ」という言い方を二度としてはならない。なぜなら、お前たちは勝手に自分の言葉を託宣とし、生ける神で／ある我らの神、万軍の主の言葉を曲げたからだ。 23:37 預言者にはただ、「主は何とお答えになりましたか。主は何とお語りになりましたか」と言うがよい。 23:38 もし、お前たちが、「主の託宣だ」と言うなら、主はこう言われる。「お前たちは、『主の託宣だ』と言ってはならないと命じておいたのに、『主の託宣だ』というこの言葉を語ったので、 23:39 見よ、わたしはお前たちを全く退け、お前たちと父祖たちに与えたこの都と共に、お前たちをわたしの前から捨て去る。 23:40 そしてお前たちに、決して忘れえない永久の恥と永久の辱めを与える。」 これは、わたしが彼らと結ぶ契約であると／主は言われる。あなたの上にあるわたしの霊／あなたの口においたわたしの言葉は／あなたの口からも、あなたの子孫の口からも／あなたの子孫の子孫の口からも／今も、そしてとこしえに／離れることはない、と主は言われる。
23:1 "Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!" says the Lord. 23:2 Therefore thus says the Lord God of Israel against the shepherds who feed My people: "You have scattered My flock, driven them away, and not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your doings," says the Lord. 23:3 "But I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 23:4 "I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking," says the Lord. 23:5 "Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord,"That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness;A King shall reign and prosper,And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. 23:6 In His days Judah will be saved,And Israel will dwell safely;Now this is His name by which He will be called:THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. 23:7 "Therefore, behold, the days are coming," says the Lord, "that they shall no longer say, 'As the Lord lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,' 23:8 "but, 'As the Lord lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven them.' And they shall dwell in their own land." 23:9 My heart within me is brokenBecause of the prophets;All my bones shake.I am like a drunken man,And like a man whom wine has overcome,Because of the Lord,And because of His holy words. 23:10 For the land is full of adulterers;For because of a curse the land mourns.The pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up.Their course of life is evil,And their might is not right. 23:11 "For both prophet and priest are profane;Yes, in My house I have found their wickedness," says the Lord. 23:12 "Therefore their way shall be to themLike slippery ways;In the darkness they shall be driven onAnd fall in them;For I will bring disaster on them,The year of their punishment," says the Lord. 23:13 "And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria:They prophesied by BaalAnd caused My people Israel to err. 23:14 Also I have seen a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem:They commit adultery and walk in lies;They also strengthen the hands of evildoers,So that no one turns back from his wickedness.All of them are like Sodom to Me,And her inhabitants like Gomorrah. 23:15 "Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets:'Behold, I will feed them with wormwood,And make them drink the water of gall;For from the prophets of JerusalemProfaneness has gone out into all the land.' " 23:16 Thus says the Lord of hosts:"Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you.They make you worthless;They speak a vision of their own heart,Not from the mouth of the Lord. 23:17 They continually say to those who despise Me,'The Lord has said, "You shall have peace" ';And to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say,'No evil shall come upon you.' " 23:18 For who has stood in the counsel of the Lord,And has perceived and heard His word?Who has marked His word and heard it? 23:19 Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord has gone forth in fury-A violent whirlwind!It will fall violently on the head of the wicked. 23:20 The anger of the Lord will not turn backUntil He has executed and performed the thoughts of His heart.In the latter days you will understand it perfectly. 23:21 "I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran.I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. 23:22 But if they had stood in My counsel,And had caused My people to hear My words,Then they would have turned them from their evil wayAnd from the evil of their doings. 23:23 "Am I a God near at hand," says the Lord,"And not a God afar off? 23:24 Can anyone hide himself in secret places,So I shall not see him?" says the Lord;"Do I not fill heaven and earth?" says the Lord. 23:25 "I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name, saying, 'I have dreamed, I have dreamed!' 23:26 "How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart, 23:27 "who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal. 23:28 "The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream;And he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully.What is the chaff to the wheat?" says the Lord. 23:29 "Is not My word like a fire?" says the Lord,"And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? 23:30 "Therefore behold, I am against the prophets," says the Lord, "who steal My words every one from his neighbor. 23:31 "Behold, I am against the prophets," says the Lord, "who use their tongues and say, 'He says.' 23:32 "Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams," says the Lord, "and tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them or command them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all," says the Lord. 23:33 "So when these people or the prophet or the priest ask you, saying, 'What is the oracle of the Lord?' you shall then say to them, 'What oracle?' I will even forsake you," says the Lord. 23:34 "And as for the prophet and the priest and the people who say, 'The oracle of the Lord!' I will even punish that man and his house. 23:35 "Thus every one of you shall say to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, 'What has the Lord answered?' and, 'What has the Lord spoken?' 23:36 "And the oracle of the Lord you shall mention no more. For every man's word will be his oracle, for you have perverted the words of the living God, the Lord of hosts, our God. 23:37 "Thus you shall say to the prophet, 'What has the Lord answered you?' and, 'What has the Lord spoken?' 23:38 "But since you say, 'The oracle of the Lord!' therefore thus says the Lord: 'Because you say this word, "The oracle of the Lord!" and I have sent to you, saying, "Do not say, 'The oracle of the Lord!' " 23:39 'therefore behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you and forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and will cast you out of My presence. 23:40 'And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.' "

3:6 兄弟たち、わたしたちは、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストの名によって命じます。怠惰な生活をして、わたしたちから受けた教えに従わないでいるすべての兄弟を避けなさい。 3:7 あなたがた自身、わたしたちにどのように倣えばよいか、よく知っています。わたしたちは、そちらにいたとき、怠惰な生活をしませんでした。 3:8 また、だれからもパンをただでもらって食べたりはしませんでした。むしろ、だれにも負担をかけまいと、夜昼大変苦労して、働き続けたのです。 3:9 援助を受ける権利がわたしたちになかったからではなく、あなたがたがわたしたちに倣うように、身をもって模範を示すためでした。 3:10 実際、あなたがたのもとにいたとき、わたしたちは、「働きたくない者は、食べてはならない」と命じていました。 3:11 ところが、聞くところによると、あなたがたの中には怠惰な生活をし、少しも働かず、余計なことをしている者がいるということです。 3:12 そのような者たちに、わたしたちは主イエス・キリストに結ばれた者として命じ、勧めます。自分で得たパンを食べるように、落ち着いて仕事をしなさい。 3:13 そして、兄弟たち、あなたがたは、たゆまず善いことをしなさい。 3:14 もし、この手紙でわたしたちの言うことに従わない者がいれば、その者には特に気をつけて、かかわりを持たないようにしなさい。そうすれば、彼は恥じ入るでしょう。 3:15 しかし、その人を敵とは見なさず、兄弟として警告しなさい。
