[ 23 ] ◆オホラとオホリバ

23:1 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ。 23:2 「人の子よ、かつて二人の女性がいた。彼女たちは同じ母の娘であった。 23:3 彼女たちはエジプトで淫行を行った。まだ若いのに淫行を行った。その地で、彼女たちの乳房は握られ、処女の乳首は摘まれた。 23:4 彼女たちの名は、姉はオホラ、妹はオホリバといった。彼女たちはわたしのものとなり、息子、娘たちを産んだ。彼女たちの名前であるオホラはサマリア、オホリバはエルサレムのことである。 23:5 オホラはわたしのもとにいながら、姦淫を行い、その愛人である戦士アッシリア人に欲情を抱いた。 23:6 それは紫の衣を着た高官、知事、長官という皆、好ましい男たち、馬に乗る騎士たちであった。 23:7 彼女はこの者どもと姦淫を行ったが、彼らは皆、アッシリアの支配者たちであった。彼女は欲情を抱いていたすべての者、およびその偶像によって身を汚した。 23:8 彼女はエジプト以来の淫行から離れなかった。人々は彼女の若いときに彼女と寝て、処女の乳首を摘み、淫行を彼女に注いだからである。 23:9 それゆえ、わたしは彼女をその愛人の手に、彼女が欲情を抱いたアッシリアの人々の手に渡した。 23:10 彼らは彼女の裸をあらわにし、彼女の息子、娘たちを奪い、ついに彼女を剣で殺した。このように彼らは彼女を裁き、彼女は女たちの物笑いとなった。 23:11 妹オホリバはこれを見たが、彼女の欲情は姉よりも激しく、その淫行は姉よりもひどかった。 23:12 彼女はアッシリアの人々に欲情を抱いた。彼らは知事、長官、戦士、盛装した者、馬に乗る騎兵たちで、皆、好ましい男たちであった。 23:13 彼女が自らを汚すのをわたしは見たが、二人とも同じ仕方であった。 23:14 彼女は淫行を更に加え、次には壁に浮き彫りされた人々、朱色に描かれたカルデア人の像に目を留めた。 23:15 彼らは腰に帯を締め、頭には端を垂らすターバンを巻いており、皆、指揮官のようであった。彼らはカルデア出身のバビロン人の様子をしていた。 23:16 彼女が彼らの有様に目を留めると欲情を抱き、使者をカルデアの彼らのもとに遣わした。 23:17 そこで、バビロンの人々は愛の床を共にするために彼女のもとに来り、淫行をもって彼女を汚した。彼女は彼らと共に自分を汚したが、やがてその心は彼らから離れた。 23:18 彼女がこれ見よがしに姦淫を行い、裸をあらわにしたので、わたしの心は、姉から離れたように彼女からも離れた。 23:19 彼女は、かつてエジプトの地で淫行を行った若いころを思い起こして、淫行を重ねた。 23:20 彼女は、ろばのような肉をもち、馬のような精をもった者の側女であることに欲情を燃やした。 23:21 このように、彼女はエジプトでその若い乳房を握られ、乳首を摘まれた若い日の不貞を再び味わった。 23:22 それゆえ、オホリバよ。主なる神はこう言われる。わたしは、お前の心が離れた愛人どもを呼び起こし、お前に立ち向かわせ、彼らを周囲からお前のもとに来させる。 23:23 それはバビロンの人々とカルデアのすべての人々、ペコド、ショア、コアおよびアッシリアのすべての人々である。彼らは皆、好ましい男たちで、知事、長官、指揮官、戦士、すべて馬に乗る者たちである。 23:24 彼らは、武装した戦車、車、軍勢をもってお前を攻め、大盾、小盾、兜をもってお前を取り囲む。わたしが裁きを彼らにゆだねたので、彼らは自分たちの裁きの仕方でお前を裁く。 23:25 わたしは熱情をもってお前に立ち向かい、彼らは憤りをもってお前をあしらう。彼らはお前の鼻と耳をそぎ取り、残った者は剣に倒れる。彼らはお前の息子、娘たちを連れ去り、残った者は火で焼き尽くされる。 23:26 彼らはお前の衣服をはぎ取り、美しい飾りを奪う。 23:27 わたしはお前の不貞と、エジプトの地にいたとき以来の淫行をやめさせる。お前はそれらに目を向けず、もはやエジプトを思い起こさない。 23:28 主なる神はこう言われる。わたしはお前が憎む者の手に、既にお前の心が離れてしまった者の手にお前を渡す。 23:29 彼らは憎しみをもってお前をあしらい、労苦によって得たものを奪い、お前を裸にして捨てる。お前の淫行と不貞と姦淫は、裸にされて暴かれる。 23:30 これらのことが臨むのは、お前が諸国民と姦淫を行い、彼らの偶像によって身を汚したためである。 23:31 お前は姉の歩んだ道を歩んだので、わたしは彼女の杯をお前の手に渡す。 23:32 主なる神はこう言われる。姉の杯を、お前は飲まねばならぬ／深くて大きい杯を。お前は嘲られ、侮られる。杯は満ち溢れている。 23:33 お前は酔いと悲しみで満たされる。恐れと滅びの杯／お前の姉サマリアの杯 23:34 お前はそれを飲み干して／杯のかけらまでかまねばならない。そして自分の乳房をかき裂く。わたしがこれを語ったからだと／主なる神が言われる。 23:35 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる。お前はわたしを忘れ、わたしを後ろに投げ捨てたのだから、不貞と淫行の責めを自分で負わねばならぬ。 23:36 主はわたしに言われた。人の子よ、あなたはオホラとオホリバを裁くのか。あなたは彼女らにその忌まわしいことを告げ知らせるがよい。 23:37 彼女たちは姦淫を行い、その手には血がある。彼女たちは自分の偶像と姦淫を行った。そしてわたしのために産んだ彼女たちの息子らさえ、食物として偶像にささげた。 23:38 更に、彼女たちはわたしに対して次のことを行った。すなわち、その日にわたしの聖所を汚し、わたしの安息日を汚した。 23:39 彼女たちはその息子を殺して偶像にささげたその日に、わたしの聖所に来てそれを汚した。このようなことを、彼女たちはわたしの家の中で行った。 23:40 また、彼女たちは遠くから来る者たちのために人を遣わした。彼らのもとに使者が遣わされた。そして、彼らがやって来ると、彼女は彼らのために身を洗い、目にくま取りをし、飾り物で身を飾り、 23:41 華やかなベッドに座った。また、その前に宴の座を用意し、わたしの香と油をそこに置いた。 23:42 そこには、軽薄な群衆、荒れ野から連れて来られた多くの人々の騒ぎの声が起こった。彼らは彼女たちの手に、腕輪をはめ、頭には美しい冠をかぶせた。 23:43 わたしは、淫行に疲れ果てた彼女について言った。今も彼らは彼女と淫行を重ねるのか。また彼女も。 23:44 やはり、彼らは彼女のもとへ行った。遊女のもとに行くように、彼らはこの不貞の女オホラとオホリバのもとへ行った。 23:45 正しい人々は、姦淫の女の裁きと血を流す者の裁きに従って、彼女たちを裁く。彼女たちが姦淫の女であり、その手が血に染まっているからである。 23:46 主なる神はこう言われる。彼女たちのために会衆を召集せよ。彼女らを恐怖と略奪の的とせよ。 23:47 会衆は彼女らを石で打ち殺し、剣で切り倒す。また、彼女らの息子、娘たちを殺し、家を火で焼く。 23:48 こうして、わたしはこの地の不貞をやめさせる。すべての女たちはこれに学び、お前たちの不貞に従うことはない。 23:49 お前たちの不貞の報いはお前たちに帰し、お前たちは偶像による過ちの責めを負わねばならない。そのとき、お前たちはわたしが主なる神であることを知るようになる。」

23:1 The word of the Lord came again to me, saying: 23:2 "Son of man, there were two women,The daughters of one mother. 23:3 They committed harlotry in Egypt,They committed harlotry in their youth;Their breasts were there embraced,Their virgin bosom was there pressed. 23:4 Their names: Oholah the elder and Oholibah her sister;They were Mine,And they bore sons and daughters.As for their names,Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem is Oholibah. 23:5 "Oholah played the harlot even though she was Mine;And she lusted for her lovers, the neighboring Assyrians, 23:6 Who were clothed in purple,Captains and rulers,All of them desirable young men,Horsemen riding on horses. 23:7 Thus she committed her harlotry with them,All of them choice men of Assyria;And with all for whom she lusted,With all their idols, she defiled herself. 23:8 She has never given up her harlotry brought from Egypt,For in her youth they had lain with her,Pressed her virgin bosom,And poured out their immorality upon her. 23:9 "Therefore I have delivered herInto the hand of her lovers,Into the hand of the Assyrians,For whom she lusted. 23:10 They uncovered her nakedness,Took away her sons and daughters,And slew her with the sword;She became a byword among women,For they had executed judgment on her. 23:11 "Now although her sister Oholibah saw this, she became more corrupt in her lust than she, and in her harlotry more corrupt than her sister's harlotry. 23:12 "She lusted for the neighboring Assyrians,Captains and rulers,Clothed most gorgeously,Horsemen riding on horses,All of them desirable young men. 23:13 Then I saw that she was defiled;Both took the same way. 23:14 But she increased her harlotry;She looked at men portrayed on the wall,Images of Chaldeans portrayed in vermilion, 23:15 Girded with belts around their waists,Flowing turbans on their heads,All of them looking like captains,In the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea,The land of their nativity. 23:16 As soon as her eyes saw them,She lusted for themAnd sent messengers to them in Chaldea. 23:17 "Then the Babylonians came to her, into the bed of love,And they defiled her with their immorality;So she was defiled by them, and alienated herself from them. 23:18 She revealed her harlotry and uncovered her nakedness.Then I alienated Myself from her,As I had alienated Myself from her sister. 23:19 "Yet she multiplied her harlotryIn calling to remembrance the days of her youth,When she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt. 23:20 For she lusted for her paramours,Whose flesh is like the flesh of donkeys,And whose issue is like the issue of horses. 23:21 Thus you called to remembrance the lewdness of your youth,When the Egyptians pressed your bosomBecause of your youthful breasts. 23:22 "Therefore, Oholibah, thus says the Lord God:'Behold, I will stir up your lovers against you,From whom you have alienated yourself,And I will bring them against you from every side: 23:23 The Babylonians,All the Chaldeans,Pekod, Shoa, Koa,All the Assyrians with them,All of them desirable young men,Governors and rulers,Captains and men of renown,All of them riding on horses. 23:24 And they shall come against youWith chariots, wagons, and war-horses,With a horde of people.They shall array against youBuckler, shield, and helmet all around.'I will delegate judgment to them,And they shall judge you according to their judgments. 23:25 I will set My jealousy against you,And they shall deal furiously with you;They shall remove your nose and your ears,And your remnant shall fall by the sword;They shall take your sons and your daughters,And your remnant shall be devoured by fire. 23:26 They shall also strip you of your clothesAnd take away your beautiful jewelry. 23:27 'Thus I will make you cease your lewdness and your harlotryBrought from the land of Egypt,So that you will not lift your eyes to them,Nor remember Egypt anymore.' 23:28 "For thus says the Lord God: 'Surely I will deliver you into the hand of those you hate, into the hand of those from whom you alienated yourself. 23:29 'They will deal hatefully with you, take away all you have worked for, and leave you naked and bare. The nakedness of your harlotry shall be uncovered, both your lewdness and your harlotry. 23:30 'I will do these things to you because you have gone as a harlot after the Gentiles, because you have become defiled by their idols. 23:31 'You have walked in the way of your sister; therefore I will put her cup in your hand.' 23:32 "Thus says the Lord God:'You shall drink of your sister's cup,The deep and wide one;You shall be laughed to scornAnd held in derision;It contains much. 23:33 You will be filled with drunkenness and sorrow,The cup of horror and desolation,The cup of your sister Samaria. 23:34 You shall drink and drain it,You shall break its shards,And tear at your own breasts;For I have spoken,'Says the Lord God. 23:35 "Therefore thus says the Lord God:'Because you have forgotten Me and cast Me behind your back,Therefore you shall bear the penaltyOf your lewdness and your harlotry.' " 23:36 The Lord also said to me: "Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? Then declare to them their abominations. 23:37 "For they have committed adultery, and blood is on their hands. They have committed adultery with their idols, and even sacrificed their sons whom they bore to Me, passing them through the fire, to devour them. 23:38 "Moreover they have done this to Me: They have defiled My sanctuary on the same day and profaned My Sabbaths. 23:39 "For after they had slain their children for their idols, on the same day they came into My sanctuary to profane it; and indeed thus they have done in the midst of My house. 23:40 "Furthermore you sent for men to come from afar, to whom a messenger was sent; and there they came. And you washed yourself for them, painted your eyes, and adorned yourself with ornaments. 23:41 "You sat on a stately couch, with a table prepared before it, on which you had set My incense and My oil. 23:42 "The sound of a carefree multitude was with her, and Sabeans were brought from the wilderness with men of the common sort, who put bracelets on their wrists and beautiful crowns on their heads. 23:43 "Then I said concerning her who had grown old in adulteries, 'Will they commit harlotry with her now, and she with them?' 23:44 "Yet they went in to her, as men go in to a woman who plays the harlot; thus they went in to Oholah and Oholibah, the lewd women. 23:45 "But righteous men will judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women who shed blood, because they are adulteresses, and blood is on their hands. 23:46 "For thus says the Lord God: 'Bring up an assembly against them, give them up to trouble and plunder. 23:47 'The assembly shall stone them with stones and execute them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn their houses with fire. 23:48 'Thus I will cause lewdness to cease from the land, that all women may be taught not to practice your lewdness. 23:49 'They shall repay you for your lewdness, and you shall pay for your idolatrous sins. Then you shall know that I am the Lord God.' "

新約　ヘブライ10章26-39節

10:26 もし、わたしたちが真理の知識を受けた後にも、故意に罪を犯し続けるとすれば、罪のためのいけにえは、もはや残っていません。 10:27 ただ残っているのは、審判と敵対する者たちを焼き尽くす激しい火とを、恐れつつ待つことだけです。 10:28 モーセの律法を破る者は、二、三人の証言に基づいて、情け容赦なく死刑に処せられます。 10:29 まして、神の子を足げにし、自分が聖なる者とされた契約の血を汚れたものと見なし、その上、恵みの霊を侮辱する者は、どれほど重い刑罰に値すると思いますか。 10:30 「復讐はわたしのすること、／わたしが報復する」と言い、また、／「主はその民を裁かれる」と言われた方を、わたしたちは知っています。 10:31 生ける神の手に落ちるのは、恐ろしいことです。 10:32 あなたがたは、光に照らされた後、苦しい大きな戦いによく耐えた初めのころのことを、思い出してください。 10:33 あざけられ、苦しめられて、見せ物にされたこともあり、このような目に遭った人たちの仲間となったこともありました。 10:34 実際、捕らえられた人たちと苦しみを共にしたし、また、自分がもっとすばらしい、いつまでも残るものを持っていると知っているので、財産を奪われても、喜んで耐え忍んだのです。 10:35 だから、自分の確信を捨ててはいけません。この確信には大きな報いがあります。 10:36 神の御心を行って約束されたものを受けるためには、忍耐が必要なのです。 10:37 「もう少しすると、来るべき方がおいでになる。遅れられることはない。 10:38 わたしの正しい者は信仰によって生きる。もしひるむようなことがあれば、／その者はわたしの心に適わない。」 10:39 しかし、わたしたちは、ひるんで滅びる者ではなく、信仰によって命を確保する者です。

10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 10:27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 10:28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 10:29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 10:30 For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The Lord will judge His people." 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. 10:32 But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: 10:33 partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; 10:34 for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven. 10:35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 10:36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 10:37 "For yet a little while,And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith;But if anyone draws back,My soul has no pleasure in him." 10:39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
