24:1 第九年の十月十日のことである。その月の十日に、主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ。 24:2 「人の子よ、この日付、まさにこの日を書き記しなさい。バビロンの王は、まさにこの日にエルサレムの攻城を始めた。 24:3 あなたは反逆の家に対してたとえを語り、彼らに言いなさい。主なる神はこう言われる。据えよ、鍋を据えよ。またその中に水を注げ。 24:4 それに肉の切れを入れよ。腿や肩肉、すべて上質の肉切れを集め／最上の骨で鍋を満たせ。 24:5 また、最上の羊を取り／その下に骨を積み重ねよ。これを十分に沸騰させ／中の骨まで煮えるようにせよ。 24:6 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる。災いだ、流血の都よ。錆のついた鍋、その錆は取り除きえない。肉を一切れ一切れ取り出せ。くじがそのために引かれることはない。 24:7 流血が都の中にあるからだ。彼女は血を裸の岩の上に流し／土で覆うために地面に注ぐことをしなかった。 24:8 わたしは復讐のため憤りをかき立て／彼女の血を裸の岩の上に流し／それが覆われないようにした。 24:9 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる。災いだ、流血の都よ。わたしもまた、薪の山を大きくする。 24:10 まきを積み重ね、火をつけよ。肉を煮込んで肉汁を作り、骨を焦がせ。 24:11 鍋を空にして炭火にのせ／熱して、青銅が赤くなるまで焼け。汚れがその中で溶け、錆がなくなるように。 24:12 しかし、努力のかいもなく／厚い錆は火でも取り除きえない。 24:13 不貞によってお前が汚れたので、わたしは清めようとしたが、お前は汚れから清くならなかった。わたしが憤りを晴らすまでは、清くなることは決してない。 24:14 主なるわたしが語ったのだ。それは実現する。わたしがそれを行う。わたしはそれをやめず、惜しまず、憐れみもしない。お前の道と行いに従って、お前は裁かれる」と主なる神は言われる。 ◆エゼキエルの妻の死 24:15 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ。 24:16 「人の子よ、わたしはあなたの目の喜びを、一撃をもってあなたから取り去る。あなたは嘆いてはならない。泣いてはならない。涙を流してはならない。 24:17 声をあげずに悲しめ。死者の喪に服すな。頭にターバンを巻き、足に靴を履きなさい。口ひげを覆うな。嘆きのパンを食べてはならない。」 24:18 朝、わたしは人々に語っていた。その夕、わたしの妻は死んだ。翌朝、わたしは命じられたとおりに行った。 24:19 人々はわたしに尋ねた。「あなたが行っているこれらの事は、我々にどんな意味があるのか告げてくれないか」と。 24:20 そこでわたしは、彼らに語った。「主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ。 24:21 イスラエルの家に言いなさい。主なる神はこう言われる。わたしは、わたしの聖所を汚す。それはお前たちの誇る砦であり、目の喜び、心の慕うものであった。お前たちが残してきた息子、娘たちは、剣によって滅びる。 24:22 わたしがしたように、お前たちもするようになる。お前たちは口ひげを覆ってはならない。嘆きのパンを食べてはならない。 24:23 頭にターバンを巻き、足に靴を履け。また、嘆いてはならない。泣いてはならない。お前たちは自分の罪のゆえに衰え、互いに嘆くようになる。 24:24 エゼキエルは、お前たちにとってしるしとなる。すべて彼が行ったように、お前たちもするであろう。すべてが実現したとき、お前たちは、わたしが主なる神であることを知るようになる。」 24:25 人の子よ、わたしが彼らから、その砦、栄光の喜び、目の喜び、心の望みであるもの、息子、娘たちを取り去る日、 24:26 その日、逃れて来た者が来てあなたの耳に告げる。 24:27 その日に、あなたは逃れて来た者に向かって口を開いて語り、もはや黙しているな。あなたは彼らに対してしるしとなり、彼らはわたしが主であることを知るようになる。
24:1 Again, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 24:2 "Son of man, write down the name of the day, this very day-the king of Babylon started his siege against Jerusalem this very day. 24:3 "And utter a parable to the rebellious house, and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God:"Put on a pot, set it on,And also pour water into it. 24:4 Gather pieces of meat in it,Every good piece,The thigh and the shoulder.Fill it with choice cuts; 24:5 Take the choice of the flock.Also pile fuel bones under it,Make it boil well,And let the cuts simmer in it." 24:6 'Therefore thus says the Lord God:"Woe to the bloody city,To the pot whose scum is in it,And whose scum is not gone from it!Bring it out piece by piece,On which no lot has fallen. 24:7 For her blood is in her midst;She set it on top of a rock;She did not pour it on the ground,To cover it with dust. 24:8 That it may raise up fury and take vengeance,I have set her blood on top of a rock,That it may not be covered." 24:9 'Therefore thus says the Lord God:"Woe to the bloody city!I too will make the pyre great. 24:10 Heap on the wood,Kindle the fire;Cook the meat well,Mix in the spices,And let the cuts be burned up. 24:11 "Then set the pot empty on the coals,That it may become hot and its bronze may burn,That its filthiness may be melted in it,That its scum may be consumed. 24:12 She has grown weary with lies,And her great scum has not gone from her.Let her scum be in the fire! 24:13 In your filthiness is lewdness.Because I have cleansed you, and you were not cleansed,You will not be cleansed of your filthiness anymore,Till I have caused My fury to rest upon you. 24:14 I, the Lord, have spoken it;It shall come to pass, and I will do it;I will not hold back,Nor will I spare,Nor will I relent;According to your waysAnd according to your deedsThey will judge you,"Says the Lord God.' " 24:15 Also the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 24:16 "Son of man, behold, I take away from you the desire of your eyes with one stroke; yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, nor shall your tears run down. 24:17 "Sigh in silence, make no mourning for the dead; bind your turban on your head, and put your sandals on your feet; do not cover your lips, and do not eat man's bread of sorrow." 24:18 So I spoke to the people in the morning, and at evening my wife died; and the next morning I did as I was commanded. 24:19 And the people said to me, "Will you not tell us what these things signify to us, that you behave so?" 24:20 Then I answered them, "The word of the Lord came to me, saying, 24:21 'Speak to the house of Israel, "Thus says the Lord God: 'Behold, I will profane My sanctuary, your arrogant boast, the desire of your eyes, the delight of your soul; and your sons and daughters whom you left behind shall fall by the sword. 24:22 'And you shall do as I have done; you shall not cover your lips nor eat man's bread of sorrow. 24:23 'Your turbans shall be on your heads and your sandals on your feet; you shall neither mourn nor weep, but you shall pine away in your iniquities and mourn with one another. 24:24 'Thus Ezekiel is a sign to you; according to all that he has done you shall do; and when this comes, you shall know that I am the Lord God.' " 24:25 'And you, son of man-will it not be in the day when I take from them their stronghold, their joy and their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that on which they set their minds, their sons and their daughters: 24:26 'on that day one who escapes will come to you to let you hear it with your ears; 24:27 'on that day your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped; you shall speak and no longer be mute. Thus you will be a sign to them, and they shall know that I am the Lord.' "
11:1 信仰とは、望んでいる事柄を確信し、見えない事実を確認することです。 11:2 昔の人たちは、この信仰のゆえに神に認められました。 11:3 信仰によって、わたしたちは、この世界が神の言葉によって創造され、従って見えるものは、目に見えているものからできたのではないことが分かるのです。 11:4 信仰によって、アベルはカインより優れたいけにえを神に献げ、その信仰によって、正しい者であると証明されました。神が彼の献げ物を認められたからです。アベルは死にましたが、信仰によってまだ語っています。 11:5 信仰によって、エノクは死を経験しないように、天に移されました。神が彼を移されたので、見えなくなったのです。移される前に、神に喜ばれていたことが証明されていたからです。 11:6 信仰がなければ、神に喜ばれることはできません。神に近づく者は、神が存在しておられること、また、神は御自分を求める者たちに報いてくださる方であることを、信じていなければならないからです。 11:7 信仰によって、ノアはまだ見ていない事柄について神のお告げを受けたとき、恐れかしこみながら、自分の家族を救うために箱舟を造り、その信仰によって世界を罪に定め、また信仰に基づく義を受け継ぐ者となりました。 11:8 信仰によって、アブラハムは、自分が財産として受け継ぐことになる土地に出て行くように召し出されると、これに服従し、行き先も知らずに出発したのです。 11:9 信仰によって、アブラハムは他国に宿るようにして約束の地に住み、同じ約束されたものを共に受け継ぐ者であるイサク、ヤコブと一緒に幕屋に住みました。 11:10 アブラハムは、神が設計者であり建設者である堅固な土台を持つ都を待望していたからです。 11:11 信仰によって、不妊の女サラ自身も、年齢が盛りを過ぎていたのに子をもうける力を得ました。約束をなさった方は真実な方であると、信じていたからです。 11:12 それで、死んだも同様の一人の人から空の星のように、また海辺の数えきれない砂のように、多くの子孫が生まれたのです。
11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. 11:4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. 11:5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, "and was not found, because God had taken him"; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. 11:7 By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. 11:8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 11:9 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; 11:10 for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11:11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. 11:12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude-innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.
