25:1 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ。 25:2 「人の子よ、顔をアンモン人に向けて、彼らに預言せよ。 25:3 アンモン人に言いなさい。主なる神の言葉を聞け、主なる神はこう言われる。お前はわたしの聖所が汚され、イスラエルの地が荒らされ、ユダの家が捕囚となって行ったことを、あはは、と言って嘲った。 25:4 それゆえ、わたしはお前を東の人々に渡して彼らに所有させる。彼らはお前の中に陣営を張り、住まいを定める。彼らはお前の果実を食べ、お前の乳を飲む。 25:5 わたしは都ラバを、らくだが草をはむ所とし、アンモンの地を羊の憩う所とする。そのとき、お前たちはわたしが主であることを知るようになる。 25:6 主なる神はこう言われる。お前は手を打ち、足を踏み鳴らし、イスラエルの地に対する嘲りの思いに満ちて喜んだ。 25:7 それゆえ、わたしはお前に向かって手を伸ばし、お前を国々の略奪にゆだね、諸国民の中から断ち、諸国から一掃して滅ぼし尽くす。そのとき、お前はわたしが主であることを知るようになる。」
25:8 主なる神はこう言われる。「モアブとセイルは、『ユダの家も他のすべての国のようになった』と言った。 25:9 それゆえ、わたしはモアブの脇腹を引き裂き、この国の町々をすべて、その誇りであるベト・エシモト、バアル・メオン、キルヤタイムをはじめひとつ残らず滅ぼし尽くす。 25:10 わたしは、アンモン人と共にモアブを東の人々に渡して所有させる。アンモン人が諸国民の間で思い起こされることはない。 25:11 わたしはモアブに裁きを行う。そのとき、彼らはわたしが主であることを知るようになる。」
25:12 主なる神はこう言われる。「エドムはユダの家に復讐をした。彼らはその復讐によって、大いに罪を犯した。 25:13 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる。わたしはエドムに向かって手を伸ばし、その中から人と獣を断って荒れ地とする。彼らはテマンからデダンにいたるまで剣で倒れる。 25:14 わたしは、わが民イスラエルによってエドムに復讐する。彼らは、わたしの怒りと憤りのままにエドムに対して行う。そのとき、彼らはわたしの復讐を知るようになる」と主なる神は言われる。
25:15 主なる神はこう言われる。「ペリシテ人は復讐し、嘲りの思いをもって大いに仇を報い、昔からの憎しみにかられて滅ぼそうとした。 25:16 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる。わたしは手をペリシテ人に向かって伸ばし、クレタ人を断ち、海辺に残っている者を一掃する。 25:17 わたしは、彼らを憤りをもって懲らしめ、大いに復讐する。わたしが彼らに仇を報いるとき、彼らはわたしが主であることを知るようになる。」
25:1 The word of the Lord came to me, saying, 25:2 "Son of man, set your face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them. 25:3 "Say to the Ammonites, 'Hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God: "Because you said, 'Aha!' against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity, 25:4 "indeed, therefore, I will deliver you as a possession to the men of the East, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings among you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. 25:5 "And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels and Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you shall know that I am the Lord." 25:6 'For thus says the Lord God: "Because you clapped your hands, stamped your feet, and rejoiced in heart with all your disdain for the land of Israel, 25:7 "indeed, therefore, I will stretch out My hand against you, and give you as plunder to the nations; I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish from the countries; I will destroy you, and you shall know that I am the Lord." 25:8 'Thus says the Lord God: "Because Moab and Seir say, 'Look! The house of Judah is like all the nations,' 25:9 "therefore, behold, I will clear the territory of Moab of cities, of the cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kirjathaim. 25:10 "To the men of the East I will give it as a possession, together with the Ammonites, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations. 25:11 "And I will execute judgments upon Moab, and they shall know that I am the Lord." 25:12 'Thus says the Lord God: "Because of what Edom did against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended by avenging itself on them," 25:13 'therefore thus says the Lord God: "I will also stretch out My hand against Edom, cut off man and beast from it, and make it desolate from Teman; Dedan shall fall by the sword. 25:14 "I will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel, that they may do in Edom according to My anger and according to My fury; and they shall know My vengeance," says the Lord God. 25:15 'Thus says the Lord God: "Because the Philistines dealt vengefully and took vengeance with a spiteful heart, to destroy because of the old hatred," 25:16 'therefore thus says the Lord God: "I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites and destroy the remnant of the seacoast. 25:17 "I will execute great vengeance on them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I lay My vengeance upon them." ' "
11:13 この人たちは皆、信仰を抱いて死にました。約束されたものを手に入れませんでしたが、はるかにそれを見て喜びの声をあげ、自分たちが地上ではよそ者であり、仮住まいの者であることを公に言い表したのです。 11:14 このように言う人たちは、自分が故郷を探し求めていることを明らかに表しているのです。 11:15 もし出て来た土地のことを思っていたのなら、戻るのに良い機会もあったかもしれません。 11:16 ところが実際は、彼らは更にまさった故郷、すなわち天の故郷を熱望していたのです。だから、神は彼らの神と呼ばれることを恥となさいません。神は、彼らのために都を準備されていたからです。 11:17 信仰によって、アブラハムは、試練を受けたとき、イサクを献げました。つまり、約束を受けていた者が、独り子を献げようとしたのです。 11:18 この独り子については、「イサクから生まれる者が、あなたの子孫と呼ばれる」と言われていました。 11:19 アブラハムは、神が人を死者の中から生き返らせることもおできになると信じたのです。それで彼は、イサクを返してもらいましたが、それは死者の中から返してもらったも同然です。 11:20 信仰によって、イサクは、将来のことについても、ヤコブとエサウのために祝福を祈りました。 11:21 信仰によって、ヤコブは死に臨んで、ヨセフの息子たちの一人一人のために祝福を祈り、杖の先に寄りかかって神を礼拝しました。 11:22 信仰によって、ヨセフは臨終のとき、イスラエルの子らの脱出について語り、自分の遺骨について指示を与えました。 11:23 信仰によって、モーセは生まれてから三か月間、両親によって隠されました。その子の美しさを見、王の命令を恐れなかったからです。 11:24 信仰によって、モーセは成人したとき、ファラオの王女の子と呼ばれることを拒んで、 11:25 はかない罪の楽しみにふけるよりは、神の民と共に虐待される方を選び、 11:26 キリストのゆえに受けるあざけりをエジプトの財宝よりまさる富と考えました。与えられる報いに目を向けていたからです。 11:27 信仰によって、モーセは王の怒りを恐れず、エジプトを立ち去りました。目に見えない方を見ているようにして、耐え忍んでいたからです。 11:28 信仰によって、モーセは滅ぼす者が長子たちに手を下すことがないように、過越の食事をし、小羊の血を振りかけました。
11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 11:14 For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. 11:15 And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. 11:16 But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 11:18 of whom it was said, "In Isaac your seed shall be called," 11:19 concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense. 11:20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. 11:21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff. 11:22 By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones. 11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king's command. 11:24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, 11:25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, 11:26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. 11:28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
