28:1 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ。 28:2 「人の子よ、ティルスの君主に向かって言いなさい。主なる神はこう言われる。お前の心は高慢になり、そして言った。『わたしは神だ。わたしは海の真ん中にある神々の住みかに住まう』と。しかし、お前は人であって神ではない。ただ、自分の心が神の心のようだ、と思い込んでいるだけだ。 28:3 お前はダニエルよりも賢く、いかなる奥義もお前には隠されていない。 28:4 お前は知恵と悟りによって富を積み、金銀を宝庫に蓄えた。 28:5 お前は取り引きに知恵を大いに働かせて富を増し加え、お前の心は富のゆえに高慢になった。 28:6 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる。お前は自分の心が神の心のようだと思い込んでいる。 28:7 それゆえ、わたしはお前に対して諸国の中でも最も暴虐な外国人を立ち向かわせる。彼らはお前の知恵の誇りに向かって剣を抜き、お前の栄華を汚し、 28:8 お前を陰府に突き落とす。お前は海の真ん中で切り倒されて死ぬ。 28:9 お前は自分を殺す者の前でもなお、『わたしは神だ』と言い張るのか。お前は人であって、神ではなく、切り倒す者の手にある。 28:10 お前は割礼のない者として、外国人の手にかかって死ぬ。まことにわたしがこのことを語った」と主なる神は言われる。 28:11 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ。 28:12 「人の子よ、ティルスの王に対して嘆きの歌をうたい、彼に言いなさい。主なる神はこう言われる。お前はあるべき姿を印章としたものであり／知恵に満ち、美しさの極みである。 28:13 お前は神の園であるエデンにいた。あらゆる宝石がお前を包んでいた。ルビー、黄玉、紫水晶／かんらん石、縞めのう、碧玉／サファイア、ざくろ石、エメラルド。それらは金で作られた留め金で／お前に着けられていた。それらはお前が創造された日に整えられた。 28:14 わたしはお前を／翼を広げて覆うケルブとして造った。お前は神の聖なる山にいて／火の石の間を歩いていた。 28:15 お前が創造された日から／お前の歩みは無垢であったが／ついに不正がお前の中に／見いだされるようになった。 28:16 お前の取り引きが盛んになると／お前の中に不法が満ち／罪を犯すようになった。そこで、わたしはお前を神の山から追い出し／翼で覆うケルブであるお前を／火の石の間から滅ぼした。 28:17 お前の心は美しさのゆえに高慢となり／栄華のゆえに知恵を堕落させた。わたしはお前を地の上に投げ落とし／王たちの前で見せ物とした。 28:18 お前は悪行を重ね、不正な取り引きを行って／自分の聖所を汚した。それゆえ、わたしはお前の中から火を出させ／お前を焼き尽くさせた。わたしは見ている者すべての前で／お前を地上の灰にした。 28:19 諸国の民のなかで、お前を知っていた者は皆／お前のゆえにぼう然とする。お前は人々に恐怖を引き起こし／とこしえに消えうせる。」
28:20 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ。 28:21 「人の子よ、あなたの顔をシドンに向けて預言しなさい。 28:22 主なる神はこう言われる。シドンよ、わたしはお前に立ち向かう。わたしの栄光がお前の真ん中で現される。わたしはその中で裁きを行い／自分の聖なることを示す。そのとき彼らは／わたしが主であることを知るようになる。 28:23 わたしは、町の中に疫病を送り／また、通りに血を流れさせる。剣が周囲から迫るとき／殺された者がその中に倒れる。そのとき彼らは／わたしが主であることを知るようになる。 28:24 イスラエルの家には二度と、彼らを侮辱する周囲のすべての人々の突き刺す茨や、痛みを与えるとげが臨むことはない。そのとき、彼らはわたしが主なる神であることを知るようになる。 28:25 主なる神はこう言われる。わたしがイスラエルの家を、彼らの散らされた諸国の民の中から集めるとき、彼らによって、わたしは自分の聖なることを諸国民の前に示す。彼らは、わたしがわたしの僕ヤコブに与えた土地に住む。 28:26 彼らはそこに安らかに住み、家を建て、ぶどう園を植え、安らかに住み着く。彼らを侮辱する周囲のすべての人々に、わたしが裁きを行うからである。そのとき彼らは、わたしが彼らの神、主であることを知るようになる。」
28:1 The word of the Lord came to me again, saying, 28:2 "Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, 'Thus says the Lord God:"Because your heart is lifted up,And you say, 'I am a god,I sit in the seat of gods,In the midst of the seas,'Yet you are a man, and not a god,Though you set your heart as the heart of a god 28:3 (Behold, you are wiser than Daniel!There is no secret that can be hidden from you! 28:4 With your wisdom and your understandingYou have gained riches for yourself,And gathered gold and silver into your treasuries; 28:5 By your great wisdom in trade you have increased your riches,And your heart is lifted up because of your riches)," 28:6 'Therefore thus says the Lord God:"Because you have set your heart as the heart of a god, 28:7 Behold, therefore, I will bring strangers against you,The most terrible of the nations;And they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom,And defile your splendor. 28:8 They shall throw you down into the Pit,And you shall die the death of the slainIn the midst of the seas. 28:9 "Will you still say before him who slays you,'I am a god'?But you shall be a man, and not a god,In the hand of him who slays you. 28:10 You shall die the death of the uncircumcisedBy the hand of aliens;For I have spoken," says the Lord God.' " 28:11 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 28:12 "Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord God:"You were the seal of perfection,Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 28:13 You were in Eden, the garden of God;Every precious stone was your covering:The sardius, topaz, and diamond,Beryl, onyx, and jasper,Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold.The workmanship of your timbrels and pipesWas prepared for you on the day you were created. 28:14 "You were the anointed cherub who covers;I established you;You were on the holy mountain of God;You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. 28:15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,Till iniquity was found in you. 28:16 "By the abundance of your tradingYou became filled with violence within,And you sinned;Therefore I cast you as a profane thingOut of the mountain of God;And I destroyed you, O covering cherub,From the midst of the fiery stones. 28:17 "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty;You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor;I cast you to the ground,I laid you before kings,That they might gaze at you. 28:18 "You defiled your sanctuariesBy the multitude of your iniquities,By the iniquity of your trading;Therefore I brought fire from your midst;It devoured you,And I turned you to ashes upon the earthIn the sight of all who saw you. 28:19 All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you;You have become a horror,And shall be no more forever." ' " 28:20 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 28:21 "Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, and prophesy against her, 28:22 "and say, 'Thus says the Lord God:"Behold, I am against you, O Sidon;I will be glorified in your midst;And they shall know that I am the Lord,When I execute judgments in her and am hallowed in her. 28:23 For I will send pestilence upon her,And blood in her streets;The wounded shall be judged in her midstBy the sword against her on every side;Then they shall know that I am the Lord. 28:24 "And there shall no longer be a pricking brier or a painful thorn for the house of Israel from among all who are around them, who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord God." 28:25 'Thus says the Lord God: "When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am hallowed in them in the sight of the Gentiles, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Jacob. 28:26 "And they will dwell safely there, build houses, and plant vineyards; yes, they will dwell securely, when I execute judgments on all those around them who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God." ' "
12:11 およそ鍛錬というものは、当座は喜ばしいものではなく、悲しいものと思われるのですが、後になるとそれで鍛え上げられた人々に、義という平和に満ちた実を結ばせるのです。 12:12 だから、萎えた手と弱くなったひざをまっすぐにしなさい。 12:13 また、足の不自由な人が踏み外すことなく、むしろいやされるように、自分の足でまっすぐな道を歩きなさい。
12:14 すべての人との平和を、また聖なる生活を追い求めなさい。聖なる生活を抜きにして、だれも主を見ることはできません。 12:15 神の恵みから除かれることのないように、また、苦い根が現れてあなたがたを悩まし、それによって多くの人が汚れることのないように、気をつけなさい。 12:16 また、だれであれ、ただ一杯の食物のために長子の権利を譲り渡したエサウのように、みだらな者や俗悪な者とならないよう気をつけるべきです。 12:17 あなたがたも知っているとおり、エサウは後になって祝福を受け継ぎたいと願ったが、拒絶されたからです。涙を流して求めたけれども、事態を変えてもらうことができなかったのです。 12:18 -19あなたがたは手で触れることができるものや、燃える火、黒雲、暗闇、暴風、ラッパの音、更に、聞いた人々がこれ以上語ってもらいたくないと願ったような言葉の声に、近づいたのではありません。 12:20 彼らは、「たとえ獣でも、山に触れれば、石を投げつけて殺さなければならない」という命令に耐えられなかったのです。 12:21 また、その様子があまりにも恐ろしいものだったので、モーセすら、「わたしはおびえ、震えている」と言ったほどです。 12:22 しかし、あなたがたが近づいたのは、シオンの山、生ける神の都、天のエルサレム、無数の天使たちの祝いの集まり、 12:23 天に登録されている長子たちの集会、すべての人の審判者である神、完全なものとされた正しい人たちの霊、 12:24 新しい契約の仲介者イエス、そして、アベルの血よりも立派に語る注がれた血です。
12:12 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, 12:13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. 12:14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 12:15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; 12:16 lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. 12:17 For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears. 12:18 For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, 12:19 and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. 12:20 (For they could not endure what was commanded: "And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow." 12:21 And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, "I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.") 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 12:23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
