7:1 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ。 7:2 「人の子よ、言いなさい。主なる神がイスラエルの地に向かってこう言われる。終わりが来る。地の四隅に終わりが来る。 7:3 今こそ終わりがお前の上に来る。わたしは怒りを送り／お前の行いに従って裁き／忌まわしいすべてのことをお前に報いる。 7:4 わたしは、お前に慈しみの目を注がず／憐れみをかけることもしない。お前の行いをわたしは報いる。お前の忌まわしいことはお前の中にとどまる。そのとき、お前たちは／わたしが主であることを知るようになる。 7:5 主なる神はこう言われる。災いに続く災いが来る。 7:6 終わりが来る。終わりが来る。終わりの時がお前のために熟す。今や見よ、その時が来る。 7:7 この地に住む者よ、お前の順番が来た。時は来た。その日は近い。それは大混乱の日で、山々には喜びの声が絶える。 7:8 今や、わたしはお前に向かって憤りを注ぎ／お前に対して、わが怒りを注ぎ尽くす。わたしは、お前の行いに従って裁き／忌まわしいすべてのことをお前に報いる。 7:9 わたしは慈しみの目を注がず／憐れみをかけることもしない。お前の行いに応じてわたしは報いる。お前の忌まわしいことはお前の中にとどまる。そのとき、お前たちは知るようになる／わたしが、お前たちを打つ主であることを。 7:10 見よ、その日を。今やその日が来る。順番が巡って来る。王杖に花が咲き、傲慢の芽が萌え出た。 7:11 不法が起こって、背きの王杖となった。彼らのものはひとつも残らず、群衆は絶える。彼らの騒ぎも残らず、嘆きの声すら絶える。 7:12 時が来る。その日が到来する。買う者も喜ぶな、売る者も悲しむな。怒りが、国の群衆すべてに及ぶからだ。 7:13 売る者がたとえ生き長らえても／売った物を買い戻すことはできない。すべての群衆に対する審判の幻が／撤回されないからだ。罪のゆえに、だれひとり命を保つことはできない。 7:14 角笛が吹き鳴らされ、準備がすべて整っても／だれひとり戦いに出る者はない。わたしの怒りが群衆のすべてに及ぶからだ。 7:15 外には剣があり、内には疫病と飢饉がある。野にいる者は、剣にかけられて死に／町にいる者は、飢えと疫病が滅ぼす。 7:16 たとえ、逃れた者たちが逃れて山に行っても／皆、おのおの自分の罪のゆえに／谷間の鳩のように嘆く。 7:17 手は力なく垂れ／膝は水のように力を失う。 7:18 彼らは粗布を身にまとい、戦慄が彼らを包む。どの顔も恥を表し、髪はみなそり落とされる。 7:19 彼らは銀を外に投げ捨て／金は汚れたものとなる。主の怒りの日には、銀も金も／彼らを救うことができないからだ。銀も金も、彼らの飢えを鎮めることができず／腹を満たすこともできない。かえって、それは彼らをつまずかせ罪を犯させた。 7:20 彼らは美しい飾りを驕り高ぶるために用い／憎むべき忌まわしい偶像を造った。それゆえ、わたしはそれを汚れたものとし 7:21 戦利品として、他国人の手に渡し／分捕物として、地上の悪人たちに与える。彼らはそれを汚す。 7:22 わたしは彼らから顔をそむける。彼らはわたしの宝を汚し／乱暴な者が襲いかかって汚す。 7:23 鎖を用意せよ。この地は流血の罪に満ち／都は不法に満ちているからだ。 7:24 わたしは諸国から悪者どもを来させ／彼らの家を奪い取らせる。わたしは力ある者の誇りを挫く。彼らの聖所は汚される。 7:25 恐怖が臨む。彼らが平和を求めても、どこにもない。 7:26 災いに災いが続き／悪い知らせが相次いで来る。彼らが幻を預言者に求めても得ず／律法は祭司から失われ／助言は長老たちから失われる。 7:27 王は嘆き／君侯たちは恐怖にとらわれ／国の民の手は震える。わたしは彼らの行いに従って報い／彼らの法に従って彼らを裁く。そのとき、彼らは／わたしが主であることを知るようになる。」
7:1 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 7:2 "And you, son of man, thus says the Lord God to the land of Israel:'An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land. 7:3 Now the end has come upon you,And I will send My anger against you;I will judge you according to your ways,And I will repay you for all your abominations. 7:4 My eye will not spare you,Nor will I have pity;But I will repay your ways,And your abominations will be in your midst;Then you shall know that I am the Lord!' 7:5 "Thus says the Lord God:'A disaster, a singular disaster;Behold, it has come! 7:6 An end has come,The end has come;It has dawned for you;Behold, it has come! 7:7 Doom has come to you, you who dwell in the land;The time has come,A day of trouble is near,And not of rejoicing in the mountains. 7:8 Now upon you I will soon pour out My fury,And spend My anger upon you;I will judge you according to your ways,And I will repay you for all your abominations. 7:9 'My eye will not spare,Nor will I have pity;I will repay you according to your ways,And your abominations will be in your midst.Then you shall know that I am the Lord who strikes. 7:10 'Behold, the day!Behold, it has come!Doom has gone out;The rod has blossomed,Pride has budded. 7:11 Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness;None of them shall remain,None of their multitude,None of them;Nor shall there be wailing for them. 7:12 The time has come,The day draws near.'Let not the buyer rejoice,Nor the seller mourn,For wrath is on their whole multitude. 7:13 For the seller shall not return to what has been sold,Though he may still be alive;For the vision concerns the whole multitude,And it shall not turn back;No one will strengthen himselfWho lives in iniquity. 7:14 'They have blown the trumpet and made everyone ready,But no one goes to battle;For My wrath is on all their multitude. 7:15 The sword is outside,And the pestilence and famine within.Whoever is in the fieldWill die by the sword;And whoever is in the city,Famine and pestilence will devour him. 7:16 'Those who survive will escape and be on the mountainsLike doves of the valleys,All of them mourning,Each for his iniquity. 7:17 Every hand will be feeble,And every knee will be as weak as water. 7:18 They will also be girded with sackcloth;Horror will cover them;Shame will be on every face,Baldness on all their heads. 7:19 'They will throw their silver into the streets,And their gold will be like refuse;Their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver themIn the day of the wrath of the Lord;They will not satisfy their souls,Nor fill their stomachs,Because it became their stumbling block of iniquity. 7:20 'As for the beauty of his ornaments,He set it in majesty;But they made from itThe images of their abominations-Their detestable things;Therefore I have made itLike refuse to them. 7:21 I will give it as plunderInto the hands of strangers,And to the wicked of the earth as spoil;And they shall defile it. 7:22 I will turn My face from them,And they will defile My secret place;For robbers shall enter it and defile it. 7:23 'Make a chain,For the land is filled with crimes of blood,And the city is full of violence. 7:24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the Gentiles,And they will possess their houses;I will cause the pomp of the strong to cease,And their holy places shall be defiled. 7:25 Destruction comes;They will seek peace, but there shall be none. 7:26 Disaster will come upon disaster,And rumor will be upon rumor.Then they will seek a vision from a prophet;But the law will perish from the priest,And counsel from the elders. 7:27 'The king will mourn,The prince will be clothed with desolation,And the hands of the common people will tremble.I will do to them according to their way,And according to what they deserve I will judge them;Then they shall know that I am the Lord!' "
4:1 だから、神の安息にあずかる約束がまだ続いているのに、取り残されてしまったと思われる者があなたがたのうちから出ないように、気をつけましょう。 4:2 というのは、わたしたちにも彼ら同様に福音が告げ知らされているからです。けれども、彼らには聞いた言葉は役に立ちませんでした。その言葉が、それを聞いた人々と、信仰によって結び付かなかったためです。 4:3 信じたわたしたちは、この安息にあずかることができるのです。「わたしは怒って誓ったように、／『彼らを決してわたしの安息に／あずからせはしない』」と言われたとおりです。もっとも、神の業は天地創造の時以来、既に出来上がっていたのです。 4:4 なぜなら、ある個所で七日目のことについて、「神は七日目にすべての業を終えて休まれた」と言われているからです。 4:5 そして、この個所でも改めて、「彼らを決してわたしの安息にあずからせはしない」と言われています。 4:6 そこで、この安息にあずかるはずの人々がまだ残っていることになり、また、先に福音を告げ知らされた人々が、不従順のためにあずからなかったのですから、 4:7 再び、神はある日を「今日」と決めて、かなりの時がたった後、既に引用したとおり、／「今日、あなたたちが神の声を聞くなら、／心をかたくなにしてはならない」とダビデを通して語られたのです。 4:8 もしヨシュアが彼らに安息を与えたとするのなら、神は後になって他の日について語られることはなかったでしょう。 4:9 それで、安息日の休みが神の民に残されているのです。 4:10 なぜなら、神の安息にあずかった者は、神が御業を終えて休まれたように、自分の業を終えて休んだからです。
4:1 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. 4:2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. 4:3 For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:"So I swore in My wrath,'They shall not enter My rest,' " although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4:4 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: "And God rested on the seventh day from all His works"; 4:5 and again in this place: "They shall not enter My rest." 4:6 Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, 4:7 again He designates a certain day, saying in David, "Today," after such a long time, as it has been said:"Today, if you will hear His voice,Do not harden your hearts." 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. 4:9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 4:10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
