25:1 ゼデキヤの治世第九年の第十の月の十日に、バビロンの王ネブカドネツァルは全軍を率いてエルサレムに到着し、陣を敷き、周りに堡塁を築いた。 25:2 都は包囲され、ゼデキヤ王の第十一年に至った。 25:3 その月の九日に都の中で飢えが厳しくなり、国の民の食糧が尽き、 25:4 都の一角が破られた。カルデア人が都を取り巻いていたが、戦士たちは皆、夜中に王の園に近い二つの城壁の間にある門を通って逃げ出した。王はアラバに向かって行った。 25:5 カルデア軍は王の後を追い、エリコの荒れ地で彼に追いついた。王の軍隊はすべて王を離れ去ってちりぢりになった。 25:6 王は捕らえられ、リブラにいるバビロンの王のもとに連れて行かれ、裁きを受けた。 25:7 彼らはゼデキヤの目の前で彼の王子たちを殺し、その上でバビロンの王は彼の両眼をつぶし、青銅の足枷をはめ、彼をバビロンに連れて行った。 25:8 第五の月の七日、バビロンの王ネブカドネツァルの第十九年のこと、バビロンの王の家臣、親衛隊の長ネブザルアダンがエルサレムに来て、 25:9 主の神殿、王宮、エルサレムの家屋をすべて焼き払った。大いなる家屋もすべて、火を放って焼き払った。 25:10 また親衛隊の長と共に来たカルデア人は、軍をあげてエルサレムの周囲の城壁を取り壊した。 25:11 民のうち都に残っていたほかの者、バビロンの王に投降した者、その他の民衆は、親衛隊の長ネブザルアダンによって捕囚とされ、連れ去られた。 25:12 この地の貧しい民の一部は、親衛隊の長によってぶどう畑と耕地にそのまま残された。 25:13 カルデア人は主の神殿の青銅の柱、台車、主の神殿にあった青銅の「海」を砕いて、その青銅をバビロンへ運び去り、 25:14 壺、十能、芯切り鋏、柄杓など、祭儀用の青銅の器をことごとく奪い取った。 25:15 また親衛隊の長は、火皿、鉢など、金製品も銀製品もすべて奪い取った。 25:16 ソロモンが主の神殿のために作らせた二本の柱、一つの「海」、台車についていえば、これらすべてのものの青銅の重量は量りきれなかった。 25:17 一本の柱の高さは十八アンマで、その上に青銅の柱頭があり、その柱頭の高さが三アンマ、柱頭の周りには格子模様の浮き彫りとざくろがあって、このすべてが青銅であった。もう一本の柱も格子模様の浮き彫りまで同様に出来ていた。 25:18 親衛隊の長は、祭司長セラヤ、次席祭司ツェファンヤ、入り口を守る者三人を捕らえた。 25:19 また彼は、戦士の監督をする宦官一人、都にいた王の側近五人、国の民の徴兵を担当する将軍の書記官、および都にいた国の民六十人を都から連れ去った。 25:20 親衛隊の長ネブザルアダンは彼らを捕らえて、リブラにいるバビロンの王のもとに連れて行った。 25:21 バビロンの王はハマト地方のリブラで彼らを打ち殺した。こうしてユダは自分の土地を追われて捕囚となった。
25:22 バビロンの王ネブカドネツァルは、彼が残して、ユダの地にとどまった民の上に、シャファンの孫でアヒカムの子であるゲダルヤを総督として立てた。 25:23 すべての軍の長たちはその部下と共に、バビロンの王がゲダルヤを立てて総督としたことを聞き、ミツパにいるゲダルヤのもとに集まって来た。それはネタンヤの子イシュマエル、カレアの子ヨハナン、ネトファ人タンフメトの子セラヤ、マアカ人の子ヤアザンヤとその部下たちであった。 25:24 ゲダルヤは彼らとその部下たちに誓って言った。「カルデア人の役人を恐れてはならない。この地にとどまり、バビロンの王に仕えなさい。あなたたちは幸せになる。」 25:25 ところが第七の月に、王族の一人、エリシャマの孫でネタンヤの子であるイシュマエルが、十人の部下を率いて来てゲダルヤを打ち殺した。彼と共にミツパにいたユダの人々もカルデア人も打ち殺された。 25:26 民は皆、上の者から下の者まで、また軍の長たちも、カルデア人を恐れて、直ちにエジプトに出発した。
25:27 ユダの王ヨヤキンが捕囚となって三十七年目の第十二の月の二十七日に、バビロンの王エビル・メロダクは、その即位の年にユダの王ヨヤキンに情けをかけ、彼を出獄させた。 25:28 バビロンの王は彼を手厚くもてなし、バビロンで共にいた王たちの中で彼に最も高い位を与えた。 25:29 ヨヤキンは獄中の衣を脱ぎ、生きている間、毎日欠かさず王と食事を共にすることとなった。 25:30 彼は生きている間、毎日、日々の糧を常に王から支給された。
25:1 Now it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem and encamped against it; and they built a siege wall against it all around. 25:2 So the city was besieged until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah. 25:3 By the ninth day of the fourth month the famine had become so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land. 25:4 Then the city wall was broken through, and all the men of war fled at night by way of the gate between two walls, which was by the king's garden, even though the Chaldeans were still encamped all around against the city. And the king went by way of the plain. 25:5 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king, and they overtook him in the plains of Jericho. All his army was scattered from him. 25:6 So they took the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah, and they pronounced judgment on him. 25:7 Then they killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, put out the eyes of Zedekiah, bound him with bronze fetters, and took him to Babylon. 25:8 And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month (which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon), Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem. 25:9 He burned the house of the Lord and the king's house; all the houses of Jerusalem, that is, all the houses of the great, he burned with fire. 25:10 And all the army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the guard broke down the walls of Jerusalem all around. 25:11 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive the rest of the people who remained in the city and the defectors who had deserted to the king of Babylon, with the rest of the multitude. 25:12 But the captain of the guard left some of the poor of the land as vinedressers and farmers. 25:13 The bronze pillars that were in the house of the Lord, and the carts and the bronze Sea that were in the house of the Lord, the Chaldeans broke in pieces, and carried their bronze to Babylon. 25:14 They also took away the pots, the shovels, the trimmers, the spoons, and all the bronze utensils with which the priests ministered. 25:15 The firepans and the basins, the things of solid gold and solid silver, the captain of the guard took away. 25:16 The two pillars, one Sea, and the carts, which Solomon had made for the house of the Lord, the bronze of all these articles was beyond measure. 25:17 The height of one pillar was eighteen cubits, and the capital on it was of bronze. The height of the capital was three cubits, and the network and pomegranates all around the capital were all of bronze. The second pillar was the same, with a network. 25:18 And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, Zephaniah the second priest, and the three doorkeepers. 25:19 He also took out of the city an officer who had charge of the men of war, five men of the king's close associates who were found in the city, the chief recruiting officer of the army, who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the city. 25:20 So Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, took these and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah. 25:21 Then the king of Babylon struck them and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive from its own land. 25:22 Then he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, governor over the people who remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left. 25:23 Now when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, they came to Gedaliah at Mizpah-Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, Johanan the son of Careah, Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men. 25:24 And Gedaliah took an oath before them and their men, and said to them, "Do not be afraid of the servants of the Chaldeans. Dwell in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you." 25:25 But it happened in the seventh month that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the royal family, came with ten men and struck and killed Gedaliah, the Jews, as well as the Chaldeans who were with him at Mizpah. 25:26 And all the people, small and great, and the captains of the armies, arose and went to Egypt; for they were afraid of the Chaldeans. 25:27 Now it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, that Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, released Jehoiachin king of Judah from prison. 25:28 He spoke kindly to him, and gave him a more prominent seat than those of the kings who were with him in Babylon. 25:29 So Jehoiachin changed from his prison garments, and he ate bread regularly before the king all the days of his life. 25:30 And as for his provisions, there was a regular ration given him by the king, a portion for each day, all the days of his life.
21:15 食事が終わると、イエスはシモン・ペトロに、「ヨハネの子シモン、この人たち以上にわたしを愛しているか」と言われた。ペトロが、「はい、主よ、わたしがあなたを愛していることは、あなたがご存じです」と言うと、イエスは、「わたしの小羊を飼いなさい」と言われた。 21:16 二度目にイエスは言われた。「ヨハネの子シモン、わたしを愛しているか。」ペトロが、「はい、主よ、わたしがあなたを愛していることは、あなたがご存じです」と言うと、イエスは、「わたしの羊の世話をしなさい」と言われた。 21:17 三度目にイエスは言われた。「ヨハネの子シモン、わたしを愛しているか。」ペトロは、イエスが三度目も、「わたしを愛しているか」と言われたので、悲しくなった。そして言った。「主よ、あなたは何もかもご存じです。わたしがあなたを愛していることを、あなたはよく知っておられます。」イエスは言われた。「わたしの羊を飼いなさい。 21:18 はっきり言っておく。あなたは、若いときは、自分で帯を締めて、行きたいところへ行っていた。しかし、年をとると、両手を伸ばして、他の人に帯を締められ、行きたくないところへ連れて行かれる。」 21:19 ペトロがどのような死に方で、神の栄光を現すようになるかを示そうとして、イエスはこう言われたのである。このように話してから、ペトロに、「わたしに従いなさい」と言われた。
21:20 ペトロが振り向くと、イエスの愛しておられた弟子がついて来るのが見えた。この弟子は、あの夕食のとき、イエスの胸もとに寄りかかったまま、「主よ、裏切るのはだれですか」と言った人である。 21:21 ペトロは彼を見て、「主よ、この人はどうなるのでしょうか」と言った。 21:22 イエスは言われた。「わたしの来るときまで彼が生きていることを、わたしが望んだとしても、あなたに何の関係があるか。あなたは、わたしに従いなさい。」 21:23 それで、この弟子は死なないといううわさが兄弟たちの間に広まった。しかし、イエスは、彼は死なないと言われたのではない。ただ、「わたしの来るときまで彼が生きていることを、わたしが望んだとしても、あなたに何の関係があるか」と言われたのである。 21:24 これらのことについて証しをし、それを書いたのは、この弟子である。わたしたちは、彼の証しが真実であることを知っている。 21:25 イエスのなさったことは、このほかにも、まだたくさんある。わたしは思う。その一つ一つを書くならば、世界もその書かれた書物を収めきれないであろう。
21:15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs." 21:16 He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Tend My sheep." 21:17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep. 21:18 "Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish." 21:19 This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me." 21:20 Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?" 21:21 Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, "But Lord, what about this man?" 21:22 Jesus said to him, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me." 21:23 Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?" 21:24 This is the disciple who testifies of these things, and wrote these things; and we know that his testimony is true. 21:25 And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.
