The sons of Zibeon were Ajah and Anah. 1:41 The son of Anah was Dishon. The sons of Dishon were Hamran, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran. 1:42 The sons of Ezer were Bilhan, Zaavan, and Jaakan. The sons of Dishan were Uz and Aran. 1:43 Now these were the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before a king reigned over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor, and the name of his city was Dinhabah. 1:44 And when Bela died, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place. 1:45 When Jobab died, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place. 1:46 And when Husham died, Hadad the son of Bedad, who attacked Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place. The name of his city was Avith. 1:47 When Hadad died, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place. 1:48 And when Samlah died, Saul of Rehoboth-by-the-River reigned in his place. 1:49 When Saul died, Baal-Hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place. 1:50 And when Baal-Hanan died, Hadad reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Pai. His wife's name was Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab. 1:51 Hadad died also. And the chiefs of Edom were Chief Timnah, Chief Aliah, Chief Jetheth, 1:52 Chief Aholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon, 1:53 Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar, 1:54 Chief Magdiel, and Chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.

All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead. 2:24 After Hezron died in Caleb Ephrathah, Hezron's wife Abijah bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa. 2:25 The sons of Jerahmeel, the firstborn of Hezron, were Ram, the firstborn, and Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah. 2:26 Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam. 2:27 The sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker. 2:28 The sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. And the daughter of Caleb was Achsah. 2:50 These were the descendants of Caleb: The sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah, were Shobal the father of Kirjath Jearim, 2:51 Salma the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth Gader. 2:52 And Shobal the father of Kirjath Jearim had descendants: Haroeh, and half of the families of Manuhoth. 2:53 The families of Kirjath Jearim were the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishraites. From these came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites. 2:54 The sons of Salma were Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth Beth Joab, half of the Manahethites, and the Zorites. 2:55 And the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez were the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and the Suchathites. These were the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
107:1 「恵み深い主に感謝せよ／慈しみはとこしえに」と 107:2 主に贖われた人々は唱えよ。主は苦しめる者の手から彼らを贖い 107:3 国々の中から集めてくださった／東から西から、北から南から。 107:4 彼らは、荒れ野で迷い／砂漠で人の住む町への道を見失った。 107:5 飢え、渇き、魂は衰え果てた。 107:6 苦難の中から主に助けを求めて叫ぶと／主は彼らを苦しみから救ってくださった。 107:7 主はまっすぐな道に彼らを導き／人の住む町に向かわせてくださった。 107:8 主に感謝せよ。主は慈しみ深く／人の子らに驚くべき御業を成し遂げられる。 107:9 主は渇いた魂を飽かせ／飢えた魂を良いもので満たしてくださった。 107:10 彼らは、闇と死の陰に座る者／貧苦と鉄の枷が締めつける捕われ人となった。 107:11 神の仰せに反抗し／いと高き神の御計らいを侮ったからだ。 107:12 主は労苦を通して彼らの心を挫かれた。彼らは倒れ、助ける者はなかった。 107:13 苦難の中から主に助けを求めて叫ぶと／主は彼らの苦しみに救いを与えられた。 107:14 闇と死の陰から彼らを導き出し／束縛するものを断ってくださった。 107:15 主に感謝せよ。主は慈しみ深く／人の子らに驚くべき御業を成し遂げられる。 107:16 主は青銅の扉を破り／鉄のかんぬきを砕いてくださった。 107:17 彼らは、無知であり、背きと罪の道のために／屈従する身になった。 107:18 どの食べ物も彼らの喉には忌むべきもので／彼らは死の門に近づいた。 107:19 苦難の中から主に助けを求めて叫ぶと／主は彼らの苦しみに救いを与えられた。 107:20 主は御言葉を遣わして彼らを癒し／破滅から彼らを救い出された。 107:21 主に感謝せよ。主は慈しみ深く／人の子らに驚くべき御業を成し遂げられる。 107:22 感謝のいけにえをささげ／御業を語り伝え、喜び歌え。 107:23 彼らは、海に船を出し／大海を渡って商う者となった。 107:24 彼らは深い淵で主の御業を／驚くべき御業を見た。 107:25 主は仰せによって嵐を起こし／波を高くされたので 107:26 彼らは天に上り、深淵に下り／苦難に魂は溶け 107:27 酔った人のようによろめき、揺らぎ／どのような知恵も呑み込まれてしまった。 107:28 苦難の中から主に助けを求めて叫ぶと／主は彼らを苦しみから導き出された。 107:29 主は嵐に働きかけて沈黙させられたので／波はおさまった。 107:30 彼らは波が静まったので喜び祝い／望みの港に導かれて行った。 107:31 主に感謝せよ。主は慈しみ深く／人の子らに驚くべき御業を成し遂げられる。 107:32 民の集会で主をあがめよ。長老の集いで主を賛美せよ。 107:33 主は大河を荒れ野とし／水の源を乾いた地とし 107:34 住む者の悪事のために／実り豊かな地を塩地とされた。 107:35 主は荒れ野を湖とし／砂漠を水の源とし 107:36 飢えていた人々をそこに住まわせ／人の住む町を固く立てられた。 107:37 彼らは野に種を蒔き、ぶどう畑を作り／作物を実らせた。 107:38 主が祝福されたので彼らは限りなく増え／家畜も減らされることはなかった。 107:39 不毛、災厄、嘆きによって／彼らは減って行き、屈み込んだ。 107:40 主は貴族らの上に辱めを浴びせ／道もない混沌に迷い込ませられたが 107:41 乏しい人はその貧苦から高く上げ／羊の群れのような大家族とされた。 107:42 正しい人はこれを見て喜び祝い／不正を行う者は口を閉ざす。 107:43 知恵ある人は皆、これらのことを心に納め／主の慈しみに目を注ぐがよい。
107:1 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!For His mercy endures forever. 107:2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, 107:3 And gathered out of the lands,From the east and from the west,From the north and from the south. 107:4 They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way;They found no city to dwell in. 107:5 Hungry and thirsty,Their soul fainted in them. 107:6 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,And He delivered them out of their distresses. 107:7 And He led them forth by the right way,That they might go to a city for a dwelling place. 107:8 Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,And for His wonderful works to the children of men! 107:9 For He satisfies the longing soul,And fills the hungry soul with goodness. 107:10 Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death,Bound in affliction and irons- 107:11 Because they rebelled against the words of God,And despised the counsel of the Most High, 107:12 Therefore He brought down their heart with labor;They fell down, and there was none to help. 107:13 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,And He saved them out of their distresses. 107:14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death,And broke their chains in pieces. 107:15 Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,And for His wonderful works to the children of men! 107:16 For He has broken the gates of bronze,And cut the bars of iron in two. 107:17 Fools, because of their transgression,And because of their iniquities, were afflicted. 107:18 Their soul abhorred all manner of food,And they drew near to the gates of death. 107:19 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,And He saved them out of their distresses. 107:20 He sent His word and healed them,And delivered them from their destructions. 107:21 Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,And for His wonderful works to the children of men! 107:22 Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving,And declare His works with rejoicing. 107:23 Those who go down to the sea in ships,Who do business on great waters, 107:24 They see the works of the Lord,And His wonders in the deep. 107:25 For He commands and raises the stormy wind,Which lifts up the waves of the sea. 107:26 They mount up to the heavens,They go down again to the depths;Their soul melts because of trouble. 107:27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man,And are at their wits' end. 107:28 Then they cry out to the Lord in their trouble,And He brings them out of their distresses. 107:29 He calms the storm,So that its waves are still. 107:30 Then they are glad because they are quiet;So He guides them to their desired haven. 107:31 Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,And for His wonderful works to the children of men! 107:32 Let them exalt Him also in the assembly of the people,And praise Him in the company of the elders. 107:33 He turns rivers into a wilderness,And the watersprings into dry ground; 107:34 A fruitful land into barrenness,For the wickedness of those who dwell in it. 107:35 He turns a wilderness into pools of water,And dry land into watersprings. 107:36 There He makes the hungry dwell,That they may establish a city for a dwelling place, 107:37 And sow fields and plant vineyards,That they may yield a fruitful harvest. 107:38 He also blesses them, and they multiply greatly;And He does not let their cattle decrease. 107:39 When they are diminished and brought lowThrough oppression, affliction and sorrow, 107:40 He pours contempt on princes,And causes them to wander in the wilderness where there is no way; 107:41 Yet He sets the poor on high, far from affliction,And makes their families like a flock. 107:42 The righteous see it and rejoice,And all iniquity stops its mouth. 107:43 Whoever is wise will observe these things,And they will understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.
