5:1 ソロモン王は、主の神殿のために行われてきた仕事がすべて完了すると、父ダビデが聖別した物、銀、金、その他あらゆる祭具を運び入れ、神殿の宝物庫に納めた。
5:2 ソロモンは、そこでイスラエルの長老、すべての部族長、イスラエル人諸家系の首長をエルサレムに召集した。「ダビデの町」シオンから主の契約の箱を担ぎ上るためであった。 5:3 第七の月の祭りに、すべてのイスラエル人が王のもとに集まった。 5:4 イスラエルの全長老が到着すると、レビ人はその箱を担ぎ、 5:5 その箱のみならず臨在の幕屋も、幕屋にあった聖なる祭具もすべて担ぎ上った。祭司たちはレビ人たちと共にこれらのものを担ぎ上った。 5:6 ソロモン王は、彼のもとに集まったイスラエルの全共同体と共に、その箱の前でいけにえとして羊や牛をささげた。その数はあまりにも多く、調べることも数えることもできなかった。 5:7 祭司たちは主の契約の箱を定められた場所、至聖所といわれる神殿の内陣に運び入れ、ケルビムの翼の下に安置した。 5:8 ケルビムは箱のある場所の上に翼を広げ、その箱と担ぎ棒の上を覆うかたちになった。 5:9 その棒は長かったので、先端が内陣の前の聖所からは見えたが、外からは見えなかった。それは、今日もなおそこに置かれている。 5:10 箱の中には石の板二枚のほか何もなかった。この石の板は、主がエジプトから出たイスラエル人と契約を結ばれたとき、ホレブでモーセが納めたものである。 5:11 祭司たちが聖所から出ると――そこにいたすべての祭司たちは、組分けによる務めにかかわらず聖別されていた――、 5:12 レビ人の詠唱者全員、すなわちアサフ、ヘマン、エドトンおよび彼らの子らと兄弟らは、麻布の衣をまとい、シンバル、竪琴、琴を持ち、百二十人のラッパ奏者の祭司たちと共に祭壇の東側に立っていた。 5:13 ラッパ奏者と詠唱者は声を合わせて主を賛美し、ほめたたえた。そして、ラッパ、シンバルなどの楽器と共に声を張り上げ、「主は恵み深く、その慈しみはとこしえに」と主を賛美すると、雲が神殿、主の神殿に満ちた。 5:14 その雲のために祭司たちは奉仕を続けることができなかった。主の栄光が神殿に満ちたからである。
5:1 So all the work that Solomon had done for the house of the Lord was finished; and Solomon brought in the things which his father David had dedicated: the silver and the gold and all the furnishings. And he put them in the treasuries of the house of God. 5:2 Now Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel, in Jerusalem, that they might bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up from the City of David, which is Zion. 5:3 Therefore all the men of Israel assembled with the king at the feast, which was in the seventh month. 5:4 So all the elders of Israel came, and the Levites took up the ark. 5:5 Then they brought up the ark, the tabernacle of meeting, and all the holy furnishings that were in the tabernacle. The priests and the Levites brought them up. 5:6 Also King Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel who were assembled with him before the ark, were sacrificing sheep and oxen that could not be counted or numbered for multitude. 5:7 Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the temple, to the Most Holy Place, under the wings of the cherubim. 5:8 For the cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim overshadowed the ark and its poles. 5:9 And the poles extended so that the ends of the poles of the ark could be seen from the holy place, in front of the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside. And they are there to this day. 5:10 Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets which Moses put there at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they had come out of Egypt. 5:11 And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without keeping to their divisions), 5:12 and the Levites who were the singers, all those of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, stood at the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals, stringed instruments and harps, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets- 5:13 indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying:"For He is good,For His mercy endures forever," that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, 5:14 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.
123:1 【都に上る歌。】目を上げて、わたしはあなたを仰ぎます／天にいます方よ。 123:2 御覧ください、僕が主人の手に目を注ぎ／はしためが女主人の手に目を注ぐように／わたしたちは、神に、わたしたちの主に目を注ぎ／憐れみを待ちます。 123:3 わたしたちを憐れんでください。主よ、わたしたちを憐れんでください。わたしたちはあまりにも恥に飽かされています。 123:4 平然と生きる者らの嘲笑に／傲然と生きる者らの侮りに／わたしたちの魂はあまりにも飽かされています。
123:1 Unto You I lift up my eyes,O You who dwell in the heavens. 123:2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters,As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,So our eyes look to the Lord our God,Until He has mercy on us. 123:3 Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us!For we are exceedingly filled with contempt. 123:4 Our soul is exceedingly filledWith the scorn of those who are at ease,With the contempt of the proud.
