23:1 Then they told David, saying, "Look, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah, and they are robbing the threshing floors." 23:2 Therefore David inquired of the Lord, saying, "Shall I go and attack these Philistines?" And the Lord said to David, "Go and attack the Philistines, and save Keilah." 23:3 But David's men said to him, "Look, we are afraid here in Judah. How much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?" 23:4 Then David inquired of the Lord once again. And the Lord answered him and said, "Arise, go down to Keilah. For I will deliver the Philistines into your hand." 23:5 And David and his men went to Keilah and fought with the Philistines, struck them with a mighty blow, and took away their livestock. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah. 23:6 Now it happened, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David at Keilah, that he went down with an ephod in his hand. 23:7 And Saul was told that David had gone to Keilah. So Saul said, "God has delivered him into my hand, for he has shut himself in by entering a town that has gates and bars." 23:8 Then Saul called all the people together for war, to go down to Keilah to besiege David and his men. 23:9 When David knew that Saul plotted evil against him, he said to Abiathar the priest, "Bring the ephod here." 23:10 Then David said, "O Lord God of Israel, Your servant has certainly heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah to destroy the city for my sake. 23:11 "Will the men of Keilah deliver me into his hand? Will Saul come down, as Your servant has heard? O Lord God of Israel, I pray, tell Your servant." And the Lord said, "He will come down." 23:12 Then David said, "Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul?" And the Lord said, "They will deliver you." 23:13 So David and his men, about six hundred, arose and departed from Keilah and went wherever they could go. Then it was told Saul that David had escaped from Keilah; so he halted the expedition. 23:14 And David stayed in strongholds in the wilderness, and remained in the mountains in the Wilderness of Ziph. Saul sought him every day, but God did not deliver him into his hand. 23:15 So David saw that Saul had come out to seek his life. And David was in the Wilderness of Ziph in a forest. 23:16 Then Jonathan, Saul's son, arose and went to David in the woods and strengthened his hand in God. 23:17 And he said to him, "Do not fear, for the hand of Saul my father shall not find you. You shall be king over Israel, and I shall be next to you. Even my father Saul knows that." 23:18 So the two of them made a covenant before the Lord. And David stayed in the woods, and Jonathan went to his own house. 23:19 Then the Ziphites came up to Saul at Gibeah, saying, "Is David not hiding with us in strongholds in the woods, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of Jeshimon? 23:20 "Now therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of your soul to come down; and our part shall be to deliver him into the king's hand." 23:21 And Saul said, "Blessed are you of the Lord, for you have compassion on me. 23:22 "Please go and find out for sure, and see the place where his hideout is, and who has seen him there. For I am told he is very crafty. 23:23 "See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hides; and come back to me with certainty, and I will go with you. And it shall be, if he is in the land, that I will search for him throughout all the clans of Judah." 23:24 So they arose and went to Ziph before Saul. But David and his men were in the Wilderness of Maon, in the plain on the south of Jeshimon. 23:25 When Saul and his men went to seek him, they told David. Therefore he went down to the rock, and stayed in the Wilderness of Maon. And when Saul heard that, he pursued David in the Wilderness of Maon. 23:26 Then Saul went on one side of the mountain, and David and his men on the other side of the mountain. So David made haste to get away from Saul, for Saul and his men were encircling David and his men to take them. 23:27 But a messenger came to Saul, saying, "Hasten and come, for the Philistines have invaded the land!" 23:28 Therefore Saul returned from pursuing David, and went against the Philistines; so they called that place the Rock of Escape. 23:29 Then David went up from there and dwelt in strongholds at En Gedi.

23:56 婦人たちは、安息日には掟に従って休んだ。
24:1 そして、週の初めの日の明け方早く、準備しておいた香料を持って墓に行った。 24:2 見ると、石が墓のわきに転がしてあり、 24:3 中に入っても、主イエスの遺体が見当たらなかった。 24:4 そのため途方に暮れていると、輝く衣を着た二人の人がそばに現れた。 24:5 婦人たちが恐れて地に顔を伏せると、二人は言った。「なぜ、生きておられる方を死者の中に捜すのか。 24:6 あの方は、ここにはおられない。復活なさったのだ。まだガリラヤにおられたころ、お話しになったことを思い出しなさい。 24:7 人の子は必ず、罪人の手に渡され、十字架につけられ、三日目に復活することになっている、と言われたではないか。」 24:8 そこで、婦人たちはイエスの言葉を思い出した。 24:9 そして、墓から帰って、十一人とほかの人皆に一部始終を知らせた。 24:10 それは、マグダラのマリア、ヨハナ、ヤコブの母マリア、そして一緒にいた他の婦人たちであった。婦人たちはこれらのことを使徒たちに話したが、 24:11 使徒たちは、この話がたわ言のように思われたので、婦人たちを信じなかった。 24:12 しかし、ペトロは立ち上がって墓へ走り、身をかがめて中をのぞくと、亜麻布しかなかったので、この出来事に驚きながら家に帰った。
23:50 Now behold, there was a man named Joseph, a council member, a good and just man. 23:51 He had not consented to their decision and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who himself was also waiting for the kingdom of God. 23:52 This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 23:53 Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before. 23:54 That day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near. 23:55 And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid. 23:56 Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.
24:1 Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. 24:2 But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. 24:3 Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 24:4 And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. 24:5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? 24:6 "He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, 24:7 "saying, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.' " 24:8 And they remembered His words. 24:9 Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. 24:10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles. 24:11 And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them. 24:12 But Peter arose and ran to the tomb; and stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves; and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened.
