1:1 Now the Lord called to Moses, and spoke to him from the tabernacle of meeting, saying, 1:2 "Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: 'When any one of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of the livestock-of the herd and of the flock. 1:3 'If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord. 1:4 'Then he shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him. 1:5 'He shall kill the bull before the Lord; and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 1:6 'And he shall skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces. 1:7 'The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay the wood in order on the fire. 1:8 'Then the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar; 1:9 'but he shall wash its entrails and its legs with water. And the priest shall burn all on the altar as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord. 1:10 'If his offering is of the flocks-of the sheep or of the goats-as a burnt sacrifice, he shall bring a male without blemish. 1:11 'He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before the Lord; and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar. 1:12 'And he shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat; and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar; 1:13 'but he shall wash the entrails and the legs with water. Then the priest shall bring it all and burn it on the altar; it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord. 1:14 'And if the burnt sacrifice of his offering to the Lord is of birds, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves or young pigeons. 1:15 'The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out at the side of the altar. 1:16 'And he shall remove its crop with its feathers and cast it beside the altar on the east side, into the place for ashes. 1:17 'Then he shall split it at its wings, but shall not divide it completely; and the priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.
21:18 朝早く、都に帰る途中、イエスは空腹を覚えられた。 21:19 道端にいちじくの木があるのを見て、近寄られたが、葉のほかは何もなかった。そこで、「今から後いつまでも、お前には実がならないように」と言われると、いちじくの木はたちまち枯れてしまった。 21:20 弟子たちはこれを見て驚き、「なぜ、たちまち枯れてしまったのですか」と言った。 21:21 イエスはお答えになった。「はっきり言っておく。あなたがたも信仰を持ち、疑わないならば、いちじくの木に起こったようなことができるばかりでなく、この山に向かい、『立ち上がって、海に飛び込め』と言っても、そのとおりになる。 21:22 信じて祈るならば、求めるものは何でも得られる。」
21:23 イエスが神殿の境内に入って教えておられると、祭司長や民の長老たちが近寄って来て言った。「何の権威でこのようなことをしているのか。だれがその権威を与えたのか。」 21:24 イエスはお答えになった。「では、わたしも一つ尋ねる。それに答えるなら、わたしも、何の権威でこのようなことをするのか、あなたたちに言おう。 21:25 ヨハネの洗礼はどこからのものだったか。天からのものか、それとも、人からのものか。」彼らは論じ合った。「『天からのものだ』と言えば、『では、なぜヨハネを信じなかったのか』と我々に言うだろう。 21:26 『人からのものだ』と言えば、群衆が怖い。皆がヨハネを預言者と思っているから。」 21:27 そこで、彼らはイエスに、「分からない」と答えた。すると、イエスも言われた。「それなら、何の権威でこのようなことをするのか、わたしも言うまい。」
21:18 Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. 21:19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, "Let no fruit grow on you ever again." Immediately the fig tree withered away. 21:20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, "How did the fig tree wither away so soon?" 21:21 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done. 21:22 "And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." 21:23 Now when He came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people confronted Him as He was teaching, and said, "By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority?" 21:24 But Jesus answered and said to them, "I also will ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things: 21:25 "The baptism of John-where was it from? From heaven or from men?" And they reasoned among themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' He will say to us, 'Why then did you not believe him?' 21:26 "But if we say, 'From men,' we fear the multitude, for all count John as a prophet." 21:27 So they answered Jesus and said, "We do not know." And He said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.
