22:1 同胞の牛または羊が迷っているのを見て、見ない振りをしてはならない。必ず同胞のもとに連れ返さねばならない。 22:2 もしも同胞が近くの人でなく、だれであるかも分からない場合は、それを家に連れ帰り、同胞が捜しに来るまで手もとに置き、捜しに来たとき、その人に返しなさい。 22:3 ろばであれ、外套であれ、その他すべて同胞がなくしたものを、あなたが見つけたときは、同じようにしなさい。見ない振りをすることは許されない。 22:4 同胞のろばまたは牛が道に倒れているのを見て、見ない振りをしてはならない。その人に力を貸して、必ず助け起こさねばならない。
22:5 女は男の着物を身に着けてはならない。男は女の着物を着てはならない。このようなことをする者をすべて、あなたの神、主はいとわれる。
22:6 道端の木の上または地面に鳥の巣を見つけ、その中に雛か卵があって、母鳥がその雛か卵を抱いているときは、母鳥をその母鳥の産んだものと共に取ってはならない。 22:7 必ず母鳥を追い払い、母鳥が産んだものだけを取らねばならない。そうすれば、あなたは幸いを得、長く生きることができる。
22:8 家を新築するならば、屋根に欄干を付けねばならない。そうすれば、人が屋根から落ちても、あなたの家が血を流した罪に問われることはない。
22:9 ぶどう畑にそれと別の種を蒔いてはならない。あなたの蒔く種の実りも、ぶどう畑本来の収穫も共に汚れたものとならないためである。 22:10 牛とろばとを組にして耕してはならない。 22:11 毛糸と亜麻糸とを織り合わせた着物を着てはならない。
22:12 身にまとう衣服の四隅には房を付けねばならない。
22:13 人が妻をめとり、彼女のところに入った後にこれを嫌い、 22:14 虚偽の非難をして、彼女の悪口を流し、「わたしはこの女をめとって近づいたが、処女の証拠がなかった」と言うならば、 22:15 その娘の両親は娘の処女の証拠を携えて、町の門にいる長老たちに差し出し、 22:16 娘の父は長老たちに、「わたしは娘をこの男と結婚させましたが、彼は娘を嫌い、 22:17 娘に処女の証拠がなかったと言って、虚偽の非難をしました。しかし、これが娘の処女の証拠です」と証言し、布を町の長老たちの前に広げねばならない。 22:18 町の長老たちは男を捕まえて鞭で打ち、 22:19 イスラエルのおとめについて悪口を流したのであるから、彼に銀百シェケルの罰金を科し、それを娘の父親に渡さねばならない。彼女は彼の妻としてとどまり、彼は生涯、彼女を離縁することはできない。 22:20 しかし、もしその娘に処女の証拠がなかったという非難が確かであるならば、 22:21 娘を父親の家の戸口に引き出し、町の人たちは彼女を石で打ち殺さねばならない。彼女は父の家で姦淫を行って、イスラエルの中で愚かなことをしたからである。あなたはあなたの中から悪を取り除かねばならない。
22:22 男が人妻と寝ているところを見つけられたならば、女と寝た男もその女も共に殺して、イスラエルの中から悪を取り除かねばならない。 22:23 ある男と婚約している処女の娘がいて、別の男が町で彼女と出会い、床を共にしたならば、 22:24 その二人を町の門に引き出し、石で打ち殺さねばならない。その娘は町の中で助けを求めず、男は隣人の妻を辱めたからである。あなたはこうして、あなたの中から悪を取り除かねばならない。 22:25 もしある男が別の男と婚約している娘と野で出会い、これを力ずくで犯し共に寝た場合は、共に寝た男だけを殺さねばならない。 22:26 その娘には何もしてはならない。娘には死刑に当たる罪はない。これは、ある人がその隣人を襲い、殺害した場合と同じような事件である。 22:27 男が野で彼女に出会い、婚約している娘は助けを求めたが、助ける者がいなかったからである。 22:28 ある男がまだ婚約していない処女の娘に出会い、これを捕らえ、共に寝たところを見つけられたならば、 22:29 共に寝た男はその娘の父親に銀五十シェケルを支払って、彼女を妻としなければならない。彼女を辱めたのであるから、生涯彼女を離縁することはできない。
22:1 "You shall not see your brother's ox or his sheep going astray, and hide yourself from them; you shall certainly bring them back to your brother. 22:2 "And if your brother is not near you, or if you do not know him, then you shall bring it to your own house, and it shall remain with you until your brother seeks it; then you shall restore it to him. 22:3 "You shall do the same with his donkey, and so shall you do with his garment; with any lost thing of your brother's, which he has lost and you have found, you shall do likewise; you must not hide yourself. 22:4 "You shall not see your brother's donkey or his ox fall down along the road, and hide yourself from them; you shall surely help him lift them up again. 22:5 "A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God. 22:6 "If a bird's nest happens to be before you along the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, with the mother sitting on the young or on the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young; 22:7 "you shall surely let the mother go, and take the young for yourself, that it may be well with you and that you may prolong your days. 22:8 "When you build a new house, then you shall make a parapet for your roof, that you may not bring guilt of bloodshed on your household if anyone falls from it. 22:9 "You shall not sow your vineyard with different kinds of seed, lest the yield of the seed which you have sown and the fruit of your vineyard be defiled. 22:10 "You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together. 22:11 "You shall not wear a garment of different sorts, such as wool and linen mixed together. 22:12 "You shall make tassels on the four corners of the clothing with which you cover yourself. 22:13 "If any man takes a wife, and goes in to her, and detests her, 22:14 "and charges her with shameful conduct, and brings a bad name on her, and says, 'I took this woman, and when I came to her I found she was not a virgin,' 22:15 "then the father and mother of the young woman shall take and bring out the evidence of the young woman's virginity to the elders of the city at the gate. 22:16 "And the young woman's father shall say to the elders, 'I gave my daughter to this man as wife, and he detests her. 22:17 'Now he has charged her with shameful conduct, saying, "I found your daughter was not a virgin," and yet these are the evidences of my daughter's virginity.' And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. 22:18 "Then the elders of that city shall take that man and punish him; 22:19 "and they shall fine him one hundred shekels of silver and give them to the father of the young woman, because he has brought a bad name on a virgin of Israel. And she shall be his wife; he cannot divorce her all his days. 22:20 "But if the thing is true, and evidences of virginity are not found for the young woman, 22:21 "then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has done a disgraceful thing in Israel, to play the harlot in her father's house. So you shall put away the evil from among you. 22:22 "If a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then both of them shall die-the man that lay with the woman, and the woman; so you shall put away the evil from Israel. 22:23 "If a young woman who is a virgin is betrothed to a husband, and a man finds her in the city and lies with her, 22:24 "then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones, the young woman because she did not cry out in the city, and the man because he humbled his neighbor's wife; so you shall put away the evil from among you. 22:25 "But if a man finds a betrothed young woman in the countryside, and the man forces her and lies with her, then only the man who lay with her shall die. 22:26 "But you shall do nothing to the young woman; there is in the young woman no sin deserving of death, for just as when a man rises against his neighbor and kills him, even so is this matter. 22:27 "For he found her in the countryside, and the betrothed young woman cried out, but there was no one to save her. 22:28 "If a man finds a young woman who is a virgin, who is not betrothed, and he seizes her and lies with her, and they are found out, 22:29 "then the man who lay with her shall give to the young woman's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife because he has humbled her; he shall not be permitted to divorce her all his days. 22:30 "A man shall not take his father's wife, nor uncover his father's bed.
14:53 人々は、イエスを大祭司のところへ連れて行った。祭司長、長老、律法学者たちが皆、集まって来た。 14:54 ペトロは遠く離れてイエスに従い、大祭司の屋敷の中庭まで入って、下役たちと一緒に座って、火にあたっていた。 14:55 祭司長たちと最高法院の全員は、死刑にするためイエスにとって不利な証言を求めたが、得られなかった。 14:56 多くの者がイエスに不利な偽証をしたが、その証言は食い違っていたからである。 14:57 すると、数人の者が立ち上がって、イエスに不利な偽証をした。 14:58 「この男が、『わたしは人間の手で造ったこの神殿を打ち倒し、三日あれば、手で造らない別の神殿を建ててみせる』と言うのを、わたしたちは聞きました。」 14:59 しかし、この場合も、彼らの証言は食い違った。 14:60 そこで、大祭司は立ち上がり、真ん中に進み出て、イエスに尋ねた。「何も答えないのか、この者たちがお前に不利な証言をしているが、どうなのか。」 14:61 しかし、イエスは黙り続け何もお答えにならなかった。そこで、重ねて大祭司は尋ね、「お前はほむべき方の子、メシアなのか」と言った。 14:62 イエスは言われた。「そうです。あなたたちは、人の子が全能の神の右に座り、／天の雲に囲まれて来るのを見る。」 14:63 大祭司は、衣を引き裂きながら言った。「これでもまだ証人が必要だろうか。 14:64 諸君は冒涜の言葉を聞いた。どう考えるか。」一同は、死刑にすべきだと決議した。 14:65 それから、ある者はイエスに唾を吐きかけ、目隠しをしてこぶしで殴りつけ、「言い当ててみろ」と言い始めた。また、下役たちは、イエスを平手で打った。
14:66 ペトロが下の中庭にいたとき、大祭司に仕える女中の一人が来て、 14:67 ペトロが火にあたっているのを目にすると、じっと見つめて言った。「あなたも、あのナザレのイエスと一緒にいた。」 14:68 しかし、ペトロは打ち消して、「あなたが何のことを言っているのか、わたしには分からないし、見当もつかない」と言った。そして、出口の方へ出て行くと、鶏が鳴いた。 14:69 女中はペトロを見て、周りの人々に、「この人は、あの人たちの仲間です」とまた言いだした。 14:70 ペトロは、再び打ち消した。しばらくして、今度は、居合わせた人々がペトロに言った。「確かに、お前はあの連中の仲間だ。ガリラヤの者だから。」 14:71 すると、ペトロは呪いの言葉さえ口にしながら、「あなたがたの言っているそんな人は知らない」と誓い始めた。 14:72 するとすぐ、鶏が再び鳴いた。ペトロは、「鶏が二度鳴く前に、あなたは三度わたしを知らないと言うだろう」とイエスが言われた言葉を思い出して、いきなり泣きだした。
14:53 And they led Jesus away to the high priest; and with him were assembled all the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes. 14:54 But Peter followed Him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. And he sat with the servants and warmed himself at the fire. 14:55 Now the chief priests and all the council sought testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, but found none. 14:56 For many bore false witness against Him, but their testimonies did not agree. 14:57 Then some rose up and bore false witness against Him, saying, 14:58 "We heard Him say, 'I will destroy this temple made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.' " 14:59 But not even then did their testimony agree. 14:60 And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, saying, "Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?" 14:61 But He kept silent and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, "Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?" 14:62 Jesus said, "I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven." 14:63 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, "What further need do we have of witnesses? 14:64 "You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?" And they all condemned Him to be deserving of death. 14:65 Then some began to spit on Him, and to blindfold Him, and to beat Him, and to say to Him, "Prophesy!" And the officers struck Him with the palms of their hands. 14:66 Now as Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came. 14:67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, "You also were with Jesus of Nazareth." 14:68 But he denied it, saying, "I neither know nor understand what you are saying." And he went out on the porch, and a rooster crowed. 14:69 And the servant girl saw him again, and began to say to those who stood by, "This is one of them." 14:70 But he denied it again. And a little later those who stood by said to Peter again, "Surely you are one of them; for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it." 14:71 Then he began to curse and swear, "I do not know this Man of whom you speak!" 14:72 A second time the rooster crowed. Then Peter called to mind the word that Jesus had said to him, "Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times." And when he thought about it, he wept.
